We went for the Sunday carvery and we weren’t disappointed, the choice is unbelievable.. staff always very attentive , great value and very spacious so you don’t feel you’re on top of everyone .. we have a large wheelchair and there was plenty of room for my brother in law to move about .. I’ve put a review up before on link48 which is the same establishment.. it won’t be too long until we’re back

Honestamente tan bueno, entre el ambiente, el personal atento y la comida realmente buena sin duda hará que esta sea una visita regular. Amar el ethos y ser capaz de alejarse de las principales cadenas es una ventaja.

8 of us visited this weekend whilst on a mini break. We arrived at approx 3 pm and it was clear that the staff were more interested in clearing up / finishing for the day than they were in serving customers. The rear of the cafe was closed for cleaning however there were no other tables available that could accommodate us together. A member of staff ushered us to the front of the restaurant and told us there were enough seats there to sit on..(just not together) I would've left however didn't want to cause a scene especially since I had recommended it to the family who were with us. Eventually the staff conceded and allowed us to sit beyond the cleaning sign ! It was a very disappointing trip and the staff made it more than obvious that they were disgruntled with our being there taking up space. Very disappointed and are unlikely to return . I am writing this review in the hope that others are not treated the same way, a good business shouldn't be ruined by staff who don't encourage customers

Excellent food and service last night. Had the special, salmon and cod parcel with scallops and champagne sauce. Delicious

Me and my partner always goes here when im visiting home. Best buns and sausage rolls u could ever ask for. Everything is so delicious and reasonable prices as well.

Fancied something tasty to kick off our Saturday night so me and my partner decided to go with a trusty Brendan’s, sure what could go wrong? We ordered two chicken boxes, a real safe bet or so we thought.. and to our horror we got asked if we wanted mushrooms or sweetcorn.. we were taken aback by this question so we clearly stated “no just all the sauces please”. Anyway, fast forward 20 mins and we’re on route home to tuck into our yummy takeaway, we ripped open the bag, were greeted with a pink box which we thought was unusual but hey, and opened our chicken boxes to find….. a monstrosity of an order - sweetcorn & mushrooms on both. Did i stutter? I said no sweetcorn or mushrooms! The chicken was processed and gave my partner the runs. We used to think Brendan’s was a real good chippy but boy have they gone to the dogs. Not a happy customer.

Great wee cafe.. great menu and a must for an amazing choice of breakfast 🥞..well done Super Ducks.

Had a nice lunch here today. I was surprised at the range of nice dishes available. I had goat's cheese on flatbread with salad and it was lovely. My daughter had a mango chicken wrap which was ok but it was basically a curry mix and the sauce leaked out onto her clothes. We also had lattes ok but a bit weak needed more coffee. Bill was £14 very reasonable. Pleasant staff and nice to sit outside. The front of the cafe is very bleak and uninviting they should do something about that even put up a cafe sign instead of a sign saying BackOpen. Good toilets with a baby changing area.

Ordered a chicken tikka and cheese toastie. It had peppers in it when I didn't order that. And it wasn't even half toasted let alone warm. Also ordered a side of coleslaw and didn't recieve it. Had to go up and ask and pay for it.

Served by a very courteous amd polite trainee barista on our visit in July.. Nero should be proud of this member of staff as service is what makes or breaks a ln experience.

Staff very friendly and helpful we always get a welcome clean well run by the owner who helps out a very pleasant and friendly, young man and always looks well clean cut image hi Conor as you go in is the counter for the healthy food salads, pennies etc. Then a good selection of meats, chicken curry ,shepherd's pie etc. Then the sweets, jamm is the only place we eat when visiting. So thank you to all the staff which includes the hard working kitchen staff.😆👍

This is an ideal location for coffee and catch up with friends. Unfortunately standard of cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Tables not clean. Chairs are a disgrace, badly stained. Floor and windows very dirty. Toilets require a deep clean. It’s always very busy so perhaps more staff and extra training required. However despite these issues, I will continue to get my coffee here but please please address theses cleanliness issues.
