Had a nice lunch here today. I was surprised at the range of nice dishes available. I had goat's cheese on flatbread with salad and it was lovely. My daughter had a mango chicken wrap which was ok but it was basically a curry mix and the sauce leaked out onto her clothes. We also had lattes ok but a bit weak needed more coffee. Bill was £14 very reasonable. Pleasant staff and nice to sit outside. The front of the cafe is very bleak and uninviting they should do something about that even put up a cafe sign instead of a sign saying BackOpen. Good toilets with a baby changing area.

Stopped in on such a lovely day today to grab some drinks and ice creams and it was just lovely. Great prices and selection. Sitting in the outdoor area was so nice on this great day out. Friendly staff even when they were a bit rushed off their feet today but overall a great experience in the cafe.

Went here after a walk through St columbs park. Plenty of space outside and perfect fo to get some fresh air while enjoying a lovely coffee. Staff are very friendly and offered a warm welcome when I arrived on a blustery morning decided to have a coffee and traybake. Noticed that they do Ice teas and coffees too so will have to try that on a warmer day. Coffee was perfect and food was lovely. So much so we've been back 3 times in the last 10 days Kids love the ice cream and dog loves a wee slice of ham or sausage. Will definitely be back and have recommended to all my friends and family. A real hidden gem in the waterside

Although served by a lovely member of staff ( female - can’t quite remember her name) who was very attentive and made me feel welcome, I was horrified at the outdated decor of the place & poor selection on the menu. I was here before and was told that there was no menu as new owners had just taken over. However - This was a full week after the cafe had reopened. I believe this is a fault on the owners behalf showing their lack of attention to detail where it matters. And the food was horrendous. I hope that someone gets their hands on this hidden gem of a location that has a brief idea on how to run a cafe.

A prime location in a beautifully refurbished building and yet really half-hearted. Limited, unimaginative menu. It feels quite indifferent to your culinary pleasure. We're here, it shrugs, come in or don't. The thing is I love the park and I love a nice cafe. It should be a match made in heaven and I really want this place to work. This would have been acceptable 20 years ago but not now. Derry has so many great cafes doing good grub there really is no excuse. Nice carvery on a Sunday but other than that... Maybe look around and see what works elsewhere. Go on my friends, you can do this.

Me and my aunt decided to try here for breakfast at 11am on a Sunday morning. We arrived at the counter and were totally ignored by the 2 staff serving. When finally asked want we wanted, we asked for menus and was told "we dont have any". The 2 staff members was not very pleasant and could do with some customer service skills or training. Will not be back.

Taking the dog a walk and called in to the cafe and we loved it. Staff were lovely, food and drinks were excellent and we sat outside in the sun with our wee furry friend. Lovely atmosphere

We called here on a recent walk around St. Columbs Park. Unfortunately the cafe is not dog friendly but they do have outside seating, a gazebo or roof area would be great though! The food was lovely, home made and reasonably priced. The best thing by far about our visit was the staff member who brought us out our food and drinks. The girl was young with short hair and glasses and is an absolute credit to the company. She is polite, friendly and most helpful!

This cafe is to be avoid. It’s not welcoming atmosphere and it went down hill from there. We ordered breakfast, scrambled eggs you thought were made from rubber, we really couldn’t eat them. My small fry wasn’t any better, potato bread and black and white pudding either was cooked previously and reheated but I think it was cooked in a deep fat fryer, it looked awful I dare not have eaten it or I could have lost a tooth but decide for yourself. I’m am shocked at the standard here avoid at all costs.

Try making this part of a day put in the park or even after a walk outside and you won't be disappointed. This is cafe food done well. Home cooked and freshly prepared ingredients. Take it for what it is and dont expect a bistro...

Had lunch here and was very disappointed. Service was very slow and the food more expensive than other cafes. My cappuccino tasted really strange they must use a strange coffee blend and I left it.Staff pleasant but cafe generally seems understaffed. Won't be back .

Lady serving was wearing gloves, but had touched money and a broom stick with the same gloves before touching my food. Food wasn’t eaten as basic hygiene was not followed. Money is covered in germs.

Great sandwich with fresh bread and generous fillings . The staff could not be more helpful , nothing to much trouble from putting sandwich together to offering to carry the tray.
