Doherty's Bakery Cafe in Derry

Me and my partner always goes here when im visiting home. Best buns and sausage rolls u could ever ask for. Everything is so delicious and reasonable prices as well.

Lady serving was wearing gloves, but had touched money and a broom stick with the same gloves before touching my food. Food wasn’t eaten as basic hygiene was not followed. Money is covered in germs.

I have been eat here at whitehouse, buncrana Road on several occasions now and I can only say this : The Cleanliness of the cafe is fantastic. The staff are lovely and friendly. Nothing is to much trouble for them. Food exceptional value and so tasty.

I can’t say enough good about Doherty’s. They kindly served us the best and most comforting homemade food we weary travelers needed. The soup and sandwich deal was awesome and delicious, and the dessert was the best I’ve had in Europe. They kindly gifted our group free cookies as well. Overall a super cute, small, and very sweet cafe!

Ottimo locale per fare colazione (un po’ fuori da Derry) nella strada verso il Donegal. Prezzi bassissimi (Cappuccino 2,20£, Paste 0,80£) e dolci veramente ottimi. Il locale dispone di diversi tavolini dove ci si puó sedere per consumare. Personale cortese e veloce.

Queued for a takeaway sausage bap. Firstly noticed not one member of staff wearing masks, Kitchen was disgusting, actually the entire place was a disgrace. then the person serving completely ignored me and served his friend behind me, by this stage I was ready to walk out. When I eventually ordered I was told they were sold out!! Will never return I don't know who would actually want to eat here to be honest.

Visited Dohertys cafe in Whitehouse for lunch have visited their sister cafe in William Street in the past and was well impressed. This visit to Whitehouse cafe was awful. There was a few empty tables but each one was stacked with dirty dishes but we had no option but to sit down and move the dishes to the side, otherwise we would not get a seat. We ordered our food and drinks he tea cups were stained and dirty. Staff just passed by each dirty table and neither cleaned it or removed the dirty dishes. Food from previous customers was lying on the floor. Would never ever return the staff were not pleasent and were freely walking around without face masked.

Was waiting to be served and was ignored by staff. Staff were unhelpful and rude. I was disappointed.

Came across this cafe accidentally. Hot food was amazing with great service and really good value for money. Would definitely return here if visiting Derry again.

First time visiting this lovely cafe with daughter and her school friends and mums too. Friendly atmosphere and tasty food, reasonably priced. Definitely going to visit again and would recommend highly

Went for chicken curry @£3:45 when I went to eat my curry the chicken had vanished, or did the person serving me put the chicken in, my guess is the the girl serving me was not focused on the order, seems to be a lot of staff but no one listening, but my curry and chips were good

We had a nice meal here while visiting Derry. There is a lot of variety on the menu. Order at the counter and find a table. It felt like a local place, not full of tourists, which was very nice.

questo posto innanzitutto ha un ampio, buono ed economico self-service, all'interno, mentre da fuori sembra 'solo' un forno/pasticceria: ci siamo andati, ci convinceva più di altri e stavamo cercando, anche se passate le 13, un posto che facesse anche la colazione! ebbene, trovato! c'è una zona self, tu chiedi ciò che vuoi, sia essa colazione, pranzo, piatti espressi o pronti, e c'è una zona con tavolini e sedie. il servizio è veloce e se non siete nell'ora di punta potete godervi un po' di atmosfera locale, fatta da gente del posto che viene qui regolarmentE! se non sapete dove andare e volete un po' di scelta a buon mercato fate un salto!

Stopped here for a pastry and a coffee. Quick service and fresh baked items. Not much seating though.
