Brendan's fish and chips Spencer rd in Derry

3 out of 10 at best for the fish chewy batter and little fish. Chips slightly better, 5 out of 10. Very disappointing

We were just travelling through and wanted an easy dinner as was close to where we were staying. First impressions when walked into shop was how clean it was! Second was the quick service. Lots of options on menu. Fish and chips, burgers, chicken nuggets and chunks (chunks were fantastic), kebab box too many to name all. We had fish and chips, chicken wings, chicken chunks, and battered sausage. Beautiful fresh and crunchy not oily. Would definitely go back if ever in area again

One of the better fish and chip shops in the city. Always impressed with the food from here and always great value.

I ordered fish and chips and extra chips with bacon and cheese. The portions were generous, the delivery very fast, and all tasted good. The fish may have been a bit overcooked but the value for money is excellent!

Hadn't tried Brendan's before but it will be our regular chippy from now on! The fish was excellent as were the chips. Fast service , friendly staff and great value.

My boys love brendans’s chicken nuggets. My youngest loves the crumb on them. He had them last night & can ALWAYS polish off a whole portion all by himself. Which gives a parents recommendation every time. My partner really enjoyed his fish supper as well. Empty plates all around. Will definitely be back again soon

Our first visit to the city and, lured-in by the attractive frontage, fish and chips seemed ideal to strengthen us for the journey back to our holiday base. The menu included a bewildering list of fast-food options but we played safe. We had lovely friendly service from all the staff - and hope they did not find it as difficult to understand us and we found it to understand them. Generous portions - this fish were okay but the chips and peas were disappointing. If we had enjoyed the meal it would have been good value. Such a shame - hopefully just a bad night.
