I travel 45 miles to eat here. I get the belly buster. Absolute bargain for the 18 pieces you get. Only £11. Service is extremely friendly. Nice wee café.

Very cosy pub and cheap prices. We asked for tap water with the pints and they’ve brought a jar and glasses with ice and lemon, much more than expected! Definitely coming back soon

Great wee sandwich bar in Lisburn. Tasty fresh sandwiches, paninis, wraps and buns! They aren't the only treats you can expect to get here though! You might find yourself in the shop waiting for your order and hear something. Something serene, almost angelic... That would be the beautiful voice of Jane singing away to you while she works. Today marmalade sandwich bar, tomorrow X-Factor. 😂 In all seriousness though, all the staff are great. You can always expect a bit of craic with the girls.

This establishment was recommended to me when we were staying at a bed-and-breakfast. I walked in Tuesday night and sat in a booth waiting for a menu or somebody to ask me if I needed anything I waited over 10 minutes during this time they threw out a homeless woman So I assumed it was the chaos going on that nobody noticed. I was sitting there. It was not that busy at this time Eventually, I stood up to go to the bar and order something and ask where I can get Wi-Fi because your phone will get absolutely no service because this is in a basement The owner was talking to some of his friends or Colleagues and refused to look at me or make eye contact with me. I waited for several minutes for the server who was behind the bar at this time to ask me if I’d like anything and she would not make eye contact with me I went and sat back down at my table and this time I tried to wave her down a couple times and she refused to acknowledge me When my friend came in, he was able to go right up to the bar and order us two drinks, but I refuse to stay at this establishment since they were rude and did not want to give me service. I have been all over Ireland from top to bottom and from side side, and never have I been in an establishment where the owner and the serves Were so rude and unwelcoming. I could not tell you how the food is because I never got an opportunity to order anything I would give this place zero stars, but it doesn’t give me that option

We attended Browns Bonds Hill on 26th Saturday night, the atmosphere was pleasant, a good buzz about the restaurant. Went for the tasting menu with wine. Staff very friendly and attentive. Wine was good but not exceptional, as was the food, but certainly no complaints. only one small downer to the evening was that our daughter had bought us a £50 voucher, unfortunately we had a major fire in our house and the voucher was lost. Even though we had proof of purchase, suddenly Browns turned into a corporate restaurant, and even the suggestion of a discount possibly for a future meal was met with the computer says no reaction. This being our third tasting menu meal at your restaurant, unfortunately I think will be our last. kind Regards Jon Wilson

Group of us had dinner in Quaywest on a busy Saturday night. Got our table on time @8pm for a group of nine. Two minutes after we eere seated , server was hovering around table. Not a bad complaint necessarily, but waited nearly twenty five minutes on drinks order, had to ask several times to see where they were. Food was good . However asked for extra Marie Rose sauce when starter was sever and was given a dirty look and it never arrived.

I go to Ben Madigans once every few months. I find the food very good and the prices are decent. I bring my family here and there is something for everyone on the menu. My favourite is the seafood chowder which is absolutely delicious. If I actually had a social life I would love to come and spend a few hours in the evening having a drink. The christmas lights at this time of year are lovely. They have a function room upstairs and pub quizzes and events throughout the week. It is well run and the staff are great. I would highly recommend Ben Madigans.

Popped in to buy a take away scone When I opened it up the scone wasn’t much deeper than a pancake and felt and tasted very dry and stale I had chosen a fruit scone and all the fruit was distributed round edges leaving the middle completely fruit free. The edges were also overcooked The scone sadly was not enjoyable to eat. Not sure I’d be buying a scone from here again Bit disappointed Perhaps not a freshly baked scone?? Their tray-bakes on the other hand are usually exceptional

4 friends for lunch and always found The Ava great. We spent over £200 ....hd lunch laughs and tears, as my Sister is ill and we all needed a chat. We were told to be quiet, by a young guy behind the bar... Really.... the place was dead very quiet Then told our table was reserved.... can we leave. Unbelievable....they took our booking for 14th December, but we will not be BACK. WHERE are all the old staff. Place is a joke Ps I've laughed at The Ritz , The Shard The Merchant..... The Ava pmsl

DO NOT ORDER VIA JUST EAT We ordered dairy free ice cream, unfortunately Mauds had run out for the evening so I requested that the order be cancelled and refunded. Apparently when you cancel an order after 5mins they have the right to take your money with no refund… even though it was not our fault there was no dairy-free ice cream left. I’ve been in contact multiple times to explain the situation and have gotten no further. Would not recommend!!!
