It is no longer a Beefeater, it is run solely by the Premier Inn now, so still running. When it was a Beefeater, it used to be fine, I never had a problem. But the service is now useless and food bad. I ordered a mixed grill. Most of it was cold and rough! Waited more than 40mins for replacement, after which I told them to forget it. Best going else where to eat if you have to stay in the hotel.

Always been a good pub but was quiet when I was there a few months ago. However this time it was packed and had great live music (ok, it was my band: I'm a bit biased!). Great selection of cask ales and friendly crowd.

Really nice Farmyard Burger tonight, served with lots of salad, coleslaw and fries. Definitely have this again. Washed down with Brixton Pale.

After a walk around Harewood, we fancied a nice Sunday lunch in Otley and couldn't have found a better place. We both opted for the roast beef and it was amazing. Slow cooked beef brisket with veg and Yorkshire pudding. One of the best pieces of beef I've ever had and everything else around it was perfect. The bar staff were also very welcoming and offered me a sample of the ale first before I ordered a full pint. Overall, great food, great staff and great surroundings.

Arrived at the cafe with two grumpy children. It wasn’t clear initially what the children’s menu was. The lady serving, Helen, helped by explaining the different hot and cold options. She was fab with the kids, including them in the conversation, and having a bit of fun with them. Once we’d sat down she brought out colouring sheets and pens. The food was nice, generous portions. A good experience all round, we will return.

Three of us stopped for a hot drink and cakes. Will definitely not be returning. The radio was on, the cafe was completely empty, my friend asked politely if the radio could be turned off. The lady owner was grumpy and unfriendly, it took her a minute to decide that the radio could be turned off after my friend said it was ok if not as we can go to another cafe. After sitting down, we moved table as the corner we smelt damp and unpleasant, owner was not happy with this. We found the table cloth was very stained and quite dirty. When my friend asked (very politely) if we could swap it for a clean one, the cafe owner became very defensive and said that she had had a very busy morning, had a customer who had a meal at the table and of course she couldn't ask them to make a mess. She went on to say she just last week had 5* hygiene inspection. We later found out this was a lie. She did not change the dirty table cloth. We could see she was very defensive so my friend apologised for upsetting her. There was NO one in the cafe the whole time we were there. Personally if I was the business owner, I would have been embarrassed at the standard of cleanliness. Between us we ordered 2 hot drinks, a hot water and two cakes. After paying the bill with no given receipt, my friend realised we had been charged around £2.50 for the hot water!! Either that or the very small cakes of low quality, was over £4 a slice, bear in mind this is a dirty, dated tea room, not clean quality, modern cafe. Further more, my friend had walked passed the cafe at 1pm and it was totally empty then too, so not sure what she meant when she said the cafe had been VERY busy. The service overall was poor. We should have left when she wouldn't replace the dirty cloth but since the drinks were already made, we felt bad about leaving. I left most of my chocolate cake as I did not enjoy it at all. The coffee cake my friend had wasn't fantastic either. Of course we don't want anyone to loose business, however, it is also not ok to charge people good money for a very poor service, poor quality and to overcharge them. After this experience, we went to read some reviews and found a number of reviews that echoed our own experience. This cafe should not be in operation. Wish we'd taken some photos.

Called at Yeadon Cafe for lunch as I was having the kitchen revamped. Husband ordered Gammon , Chips, egg, and peas. He got luke warm what I think was supposed to be Gammon but looked like the underneath of a shoe . It was grey with some form of watered down sauce. Egg was runny and not cooked as the white was slimey, the peas turned out to be baked beans and the chips were fries but so hard the only way to eat them was by your fingers as the snapped into pieces when challenged with a knife or fork. As an ex catering manager for Morrisons the store has gone down hill very quickly. There is lack of training in all aspects and god help them if they got a food and hygiene inspector. How they have got away with such low standard is unthinkable. Ken Morrison will be turning in his grave.

I fairly enjoyed eating jere at Leeds Bradford. The service was excellent and the food came really quickly. The staff were all lovely here and willing to help if you were in need. The atmosphere was really loud because Leeds United had just bet Plymouth Argyle. There were men shouting to others and it was a bit crazy.
