Only has limited opening times, but the Sunday Lunch is outstanding & the value is out of this world, a proper family run business.....friendly staff & not overpriced for drinks either

Stayed here last weekend, I was doing a flight in a Tiger Moth aeroplane not far away. It was, lovely, looks like farly new accommodation, very clean, comfortable beds, a decent size tv too. We had a twin room, it had a little kitchenette too, excellent. A nice bathroom with a walk in shower, plenty of hot water. Breakfasts were delicious and we had dinner on the Sunday evening which was 'Sunday lunch' they serve until about 5 45 / 6 pm. Again, the food was delicious 😋 The service was grest, Victoria was lovely, very helpful, friendly and pleasant, nothing was too much trouble. I would happily go again and happy to recommend too. Thanks for looking after us so well 🙏🙏

Working away from home and staying in a lovely guest house up the road and we decided to go for a pint. I saw other customers food being brought out and I couldn’t resist!!!! And I was the furthest from disappointed than a fat man who loves his food could be. The roast of the day Yorkshire wrap is beyond words and I will be returning when I’m over this way again and to top it off as this review is titled? The landlady and the staff are so welcoming I felt like I’d walked in to my local not a pub 200 miles away from home!! Thank you so much and I will be back.

Very friendly and caring staff who are always willing to help in any way they can. It has a great range of sandwiches to choose from, I especially like the toasted ones. If sandwiches don’t take your fancy then there is also salads and lots of tasty bites. The cookies are to die for.

Llamamos en la mayoría de las semanas para un aperitivo y en general es bueno, pero la semana pasada mi esposa tuvo una cena de pastel de picadillo con patatas fritas Tuve una cena de cazuela la cena de cazuela era bueno, pero la pastelería de pastel de picadillo estaba literalmente crudo no cocinado que era de color blanco que lo envió de vuelta y se le dio un reembolso. Hoy tuvimos un pan tostado con queso y jamón cada vez que llegaron estaban muy mal hechos era como comer pan remojado es una pena que el chef no debe enviar la comida así.

Lovely setting (but no car park) but service was very slow on a Wednesday night and the food was very ordinary; starters were fine but nothing special and the main courses were poor with overcooked fish, vey undercooked veg and a tasteless risotto. Will not return.

Comida de pub masiva muy promedio que se esperaría en una cadena. Los condimentos en la mesa eran los mismos que el desayuno que era aleatorio un domingo por la noche, y el personal no podía haber sido menos amable y atento. Pides la comida en el bar, así que solo una experiencia muy promedio.

The best traditional Sunday carvery in Yorkshire and perhaps the whole of the UK. Quality and value for money go hand in hand here, Paul and the rest of the staff look after their customers and everybody leaves with a full stomach and a happy face. Simply the best carvery.

My first time visiting the Percy and had the Roast beef Sunday dinner and it is honestly the nicest food I've had in a very long time. Tasty from the first bite to the last. Will definitely be going back to try other food from the menu. Would highly recommend and I can promise that you won't be disappointed.

Excelente, recién preparado para pedir comida, de ahí la larga espera. Es un pub acogedor que sirve muy buena comida.
