The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Hessle East Riding of Yorkshire Yorkshire and The Humber

My friend & I called in here for the first time last Wednesday at around 11.00 am. We were greeted by pleasant friendly staff who answered any questions we had. We sat down at a table & studied the spoilt for choice menu, which had plenty to choose from, so something for everyone. All the food is home cooked & well presented. My friend ordered the homemade quiche which came with well presented side salad & a dish of freshly fried proper chip. I opted for the cheeseburger 🍔, again came with a nice side salad & chips. We also had a pot of tea. We both agreed the food was exceptionally good & reasonably priced too. We can't find fault with this little cafe & would give 10 out of 10. It's clean, the staff are friendly. We didn't have to wait too long either. So just want to say a big thank you. The only thing I will say, I think you should rename to Boomerang Kitchen as we will keep going back.

We went for Sunday lunch on the 2nd February 2025 after booking our table for 15.30pm when we got to the bar I ordered our drinks and said we've got a table booked and was asked did we book one which I said yes for 15.30 we ended up getting a table.we ordered our food at 16.00 pm and after 30 minutes I asked were our food was she said she would check but never came back the next time we seen anyone there were taking the menus away as the cook closed the kitchen as he couldn't cope our food eventually arrived at 16.50 pm and a few minutes later a staff member came and asked if it was OK the reply was no the food is cold asked if we wanted it reheating the answer was no we want a refund which we got all I can say the portion of food on the plates is not worth the money you charge we've been using the hase for years so all I can say we won't be coming again just a shame as we enjoyed the food in there at one time by the way they can't be that bothered about the review don't care about there customers who's been using it years

The best cooked breakfast ive had in a very long time every was very good quality and all fresh lovely staff and lovely place definitely be visiting again

Ordered steaks for me and the misses cooked absolutely to perfection by jack.also the service was brilliant and great value for money would highly recommend and will come again.😁

Very disappointing, service was slow on food and drink, nearly 15 minutes for drinks and over half an hour for food when we were the first table in. First table at lunchtime and 10 minutes after food order was placed we’re told there are only two portions of chunky chips left can others have fries. Food was lukewarm and the roast potatoes were rubbery (poorly reheated?), when most of the meals arrived one was not (one of three Sunday roast beef’s - how can you do two and not the third?) and although the waitress apologised some had nearly finished by the time it arrived and by then the cauliflower cheese side was cold.

Ordered a mini Monty sandwich, the girl that took my order was that slow at making it I was the only customer at the time. it was cold when I ate it straight out of the shop, bacon was like leather and the egg was like rubber £4.80 don’t think I’ll b back.

Had to express both my wife's and I sheer delight eating breakfast here on Saturday the 4th instant. Food delicious, cooked to perfection, very high quality, served hot and sat in a warm very comfy cafateira and certainly not forgetting the friendly polite and efficient staff. Absolute pleasure and still talking about it 24 hour's later really does tell the whole story. Well done, and take a bow!

Good all round, it's a pub that does a good carvery!
