Am amazing pub wat is not to like :)

Called in for lunch after a lovely walk around Newmillerdam. Sat outside in the sunshine with our 2 dogs with a nice view of the water across the road. Staff were super friendly, especially the guy who I assume is the chef and a young blonde girl working behind the till (sorry, didn’t get names). The food was lovely, I had the chicken burger and my husband had a toastie, best bit was the chips! No complaints at all, a lovely little spot :)

Me encontré con esta pequeña joya de un restaurante en una visita de última hora a Leeds. La comida era fantástica. Pedimos un sándwich de carne y huevo salmón benedicto precioso, y el personal era profesional y amable.

New pizza menu is amazing. Tastiest pizza about. Their new menu looks so good! Can't wait to sample more.

Went in here for the first time (and last time). I had to ask to see a menu and was told that it was on the wall behind me by somebody who clearly had no customer service skills at all. I was looking for a hot lunch but, sadly the only hot food they seemed to serve was fried egg sandwiches, chips or soup. The same person I spoke to earlier didn't know what sort of soup it was and made no attempt to find out for me. Their opening times (despite them having signs up around the area stating that they are open everyday) are hit and miss putting it mildly. There are far better places than this around Hebden and I would reccomend giving this place a wide berth.

Great food, great service and a lively collection of Timothy Taylor beers. The manager was really helpful in explaining the beers and offering a paddle to try three one third of a pint. The menu also linked appropriate beers with each meal!

Great local pub with good selection of drinks. The plough has sky TV and offers quizzes.

Very friendly pub with a great landlord. Traditional atmosphere with real people and real friendly staff. Makes a nice change from the plastic wetherspoon type chain pubs.

One of our party would have liked a burger but doesn’t eat beef so asked to pay for a bread bun on the side of the buttermilk chicken and fries - a big fuss was made and the waiter had to go to the kitchen and ask and they refused. All very strange and not very customer focussed - very basic request. Rather spend my money with a restaurant who go a little out of their way for my money.

Caminé por el Camino de Cleveland desde Cloughton. El Hayburn Wyke nunca decepciona. Gran ambiente, buena comida y precios muy razonables en un entorno precioso. Posiblemente los mejores aros de cebolla que he tenido. Mi compañero consiguió la baguette de carne asada. Era enorme y venía con patatas fritas perfectamente cocinadas y una gran ensalada.

El personal fantástico, muy acogedor y amable - incluso con mi cockapoo menos que perfectamente comportado! Fueron eficientes y nos registraron varias veces dando al perro un tazón de agua y algunas golosinas. La comida que tuvimos era deliciosa y no tuvimos que esperar mucho tiempo para ello. No puedo esperar a volver otra vez.

Great location. Shown to our rooms outside the pub. It was cold weather and room freezing. Not a great first impression. Knowing we were staying, a bit of heat would have been more welcoming. Heater in bathroom didn’t work in ours or our friend’s room and their shower wasn’t working. We didn’t try ours, too cold. Food good pub grub. Some staff lovely but those in the pub when we arrived to check in, not so warm. West Burton lovely location.
