Just had lunch here, I'm not a salad person but your salads are really nice with unusual touches like fresh herbs, rice and quinoa. Cakes looked divine. Will visit again

Good service, and fab food. Smokehouse style pub. Great for burgers, steaks and ribs. The nachos were fabulous 👌

I booked an afternoon tea for myself and my best friend. It was perfect, the service was efficient, friendly and welcoming. The food was divine, from the variety to the flavour of each item. The atmosphere was warm and the music really set a scene, that was perfect in volume. Loud enough to be heard in background, yet quiet enough to allow you to carch up with your loved one. I would definitely recommend the afternoon tea here.

Tasty pork pie. We bought medium size pie which cost £4.20. The pastry was nice and crisp & the filling was very nice. A busy little shop in Ironbridge

Worst meal ever … this was meant to be a day off for me as a mum… the chicken goujons were of the poorest quality and did not resemble chicken in the slightest- didnt look like chicken, smell like chicken or taste like chicken…. Then most of us ordered the burgers. Safe option right? WRONG! All 5 were cremated beyond recognition and the buns had the minutest sprinkling of cheese and which had been burnt into the surface itself rendering the bun only useful for soaking up an oil slick in the north sea! Having complained and, being assured we could have replacement ‘on the house’ - I accepted one replacement - rejected three and one got eaten. Id like to add that it was only eaten as she was hungover and anything was better than nothing!!! When I got the bill I was meant to be happy with two goujons being removed and two burgers… oh, dont forget a 20% discount AFTER theyd added a 10% service charge… add on the basic cleanliness of the table (other guests discarded food debris, fork on the floor and food debris in the grooves of the table… needless to say, we will NOT be back as it reminded me that it was poor last time too! We left without dessert or making a scene as we had endured enough and wasted enough time! A hole of £138 in my already stretched purse !

Visited for coffee with friends at 11.45am. We were told that as it was Mother's day we could only sit on bar stools at the bench at the back. At this point only two tables were occupied. Two more very elderly friends, with limited mobility, arrived 10 minutes later and were told they would have to sit on bar stools, which was impossible for them. Their and our requests for them to be allowed to sit at a table for 15 mins were refused and they had to leave. Half an hour later only three tables were occupied. Btw the coffee is £4.20 for a very average cappuccino!!

Sadly this pub/restaurant is now closed .I went there with my family aged 12 to 76 . The menu had very good choices of starters mains and desserts. The food was beautifully cooked. The service was excellent, friendly but not overbearing or hurried. The pub is a very clean quaint old English pub with nooks and crannies. My brother and son loved the fact it was a free house and had a good selection of ales and beers. I will defiantly be going back for another meal on my next family visit to the Telford area.( 2014 )

Absolutely beautiful cafe. I went there for a rest after a rather traumatic car journey and all the staff were wonderful. They straightaway brought me a glass of water and a cup of tea and toast. I had to insist on paying for it. I was able to relax before carrying on with my journey.

It was really a bad experience. Apparently the restaurant is very understaffed. We ordered the food and have to wait 45+ min. We finished by asking and they just told us for another 20 min.. it's really unprofessional and bad service

I don’t know if the management has changed or if they’re just cutting corners, but The Malthouse has gone completely downhill. A few weeks ago, it was a great spot – friendly service, decent food, and a lively atmosphere. Now it’s filthy, chaotic, and badly run. Tables were sticky, glasses sat on the bar for ages, and the toilets were disgusting. Staff looked like they didn’t want to be there, and the food was cold and tasteless. Such a shame to see a place with potential let down by poor management. Won’t be returning.

Visiting the antique centre we saw it had a tea room. Very nice feeling and very clean. The rwo ladies serving were extremely helpful and very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble! Food was very good too! Excellent coffee! Will certainly go back.
