Lovely dog-friendly cafe on the road into Ironbridge from Coalbrookdale. Plenty of tables outside plus a few inside as well. No public toilet on site

A super little café. The staff are very friendly and the food is great, and very reasonably priced. Be careful if you are on a diet, as you WILL have cake. Awesome home made cakes... irresistible!

We were staying up road from this cafe and thought we would give it a try, so glad we did we opted for a standard breakfast which was more than adequate for my husband and I, freshly cooked delicious and great value, coffee was very good too, staff were lovely very hard working and nothing was too much trouble even tho they were extremely busy, thank you so much 😀

Quite simply the best breakfast in Shropshire. The service, the cleanliness, the staff and most of all the food cannot be faulted. This chef knows how to cook a breakfast. The cakes take you to heaven..!!

Popped in here for breakfast twice during a recent stay in Dale Cottage nearby. Food was really good, and even though the staff are incredibly busy, the service was quick, efficient and lovely and hot. The vegetarian breakfast was delicious, as was the traditional ' full English ' apparently. If I was lucky enough to live in Ironbridge I'd be in there every day! We bought huge slices of apple pie to take away, and the pastry was beautiful, and the filling was lovely. There is lots of choice and it is really good value. Definitely a five ⭐ place!

Fantastic food and a great price. We went fir a walk round the rionbridge and popped into Dale End Cafe. The food selection was excellent for lunch and breakfast plus loads of cakes!! Very impressed, we shall be back.

Passed the Dale End Cafe on our walk into Ironbridge from our campsite. So glad we decided to have breakfast there. Everything was really good - the service from the friendly and efficient staff, the breakfasts, the tea and coffees, the price. I would have licked my plate, my breakfast was that good.

While in Ironbridge with my husband, this café was recommended to us by a lady in a shop we visited. We were there at lunch time and had a toastie and a panini. Both nicely cooked and the staff were very accommodating as I'm a fussy eater and only like green salad. They also had decaf tea. Really good value for money too. Will definitely be back when we are next in Ironbridge

Been trying to eat here as says its good, but every time I go it is closed for some reason or other. Really should update your opening times online sites as this is very mis leading. My friend has been a couple of times but says its not like it used to be and there is very long waits for service and the quality isn't that good.

Fairly average breakfast with long waiting times. Convenient if in Ironbridge, as the bridge is a brisk 4/5 minute walk away. Limited indoor seating, lots more outside if you like being cold. Locals get served first, even then quite a wait, we waited over half an hour. Confusing selection of 'speciality' teas which are too expensive. Once it arrived the bacon and eggs were good, sausages average. I would have preferred fried bread (not on menu) to hash browns, which is not an English breakfast item but an American addition in the UK and not a fan (we had Desperate Dans breakfast). No choice of tomatoes was offered, tinned only. Cold lifeless toast, as brought out too early. Poor attitude to genuine criticism as when these points were mentioned on google review the owners argued about it rather than appologising.

Tea was good. However the breakfast had soggy toast and tinned tomatoes, not fresh. Parking difficult. Polite staff.

We visited for breakfast yesterday for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. There are a wide variety of options on the menu and all of us were very happy with the quality of food we received. The service was great and extremely friendly. There seem to be a lot of regular customers and these were also welcoming, making a lovely atmosphere. Going back again today and looking forward to our breakfast already.

The Cafe is situated just round the corner from the main Iron Bridge Gorge road. Make a point of visiting for excellent freshly prepared food. Visited last week from the North east and found the service second to none. Very friendly staff who could not do enough to make you feel welcome. My wife and I had fresh sandwiches and cake with tea and was really tasty. Besides good food the prices were very reasonable. We sat outside but inside tables are available. COVID safety was evident. Well worth a visit and would use again. Thanks.

Stopped off here for tea and cake on Easter Sunday. Lovely cake and generous portions. Saw we had a dog and gave him free sausage. One happy pooch!

Had a long awaited trip to Ironbridge, found this little gem. Bacon sandwiches, cappuccino both very nice. Friendly service. Sat outside enjoying the return of a cafe stop.

If your in the area do not miss going to Dale end cafe. Recently refurbished due to multie floods this year, 2020. The food is lovely, whether its breakfast, a sandwich or a lite bite, or a slice of one of the many amazing cakes on offer. Diet restrictions are catered to. Owners Chris and Sharon, and the all staff are absolutely fantastic. Always very welcoming and always happy to see you. As are the locals and regulars that frequent it. It's one big happy family. A real treat. 5☆s

We started a weekend away in Shropshire with a brunch at the Dale End Cafe, and what a find!Friendly & welcoming but firm on the current Covid19 restrictions so that made us feel safe. The food & drinks were excellent but just as importantly so was the customer service & attention to detail. My OH was delighted with the gluten free cake. When we learned just what the team had been through in the recent floods ( in the last year) and how much had been achieved to get them back open, we were amazed.Lots of locals popping in but also a great welcome to Coalbrookdalr for visitors. Will be returning!

Last minute breakfast stop before heading home after camping trip, kids cleared a light breakfast each and enjoyed every bit! The youngest enjoyed 2 large crumpets Lovely staff, pretty outside set up, covid secure, but very lovely and relaxed.

The cafe has had a harder time than most with repeated floods adding insult to injury. But this place should be listed under the definition of “bounce back”. They’ve not just bailed as many would not have blamed them for, but taken the bull by the horns and carried on regardless - blitz spirit for the 2020s. It’s a truly locals cafe with a menu that will please everyone from trendy hipster to the high vis donning grafting contractor looking to fuel their day. A lovely warm welcome is extended to all and with local gossip available to anyone caring to stretch and ear, entertainment is always on tap. I enjoyed the “Standard Vegetarian” breakfast with a cup of tea served in a traditional ceramic pot on one of the many well spaced outside tables. It was also lovely with the timeless sound of children at play on the school grounds next-door. I left happy and fully loaded on all fronts.

We had a great English breakfast here recently and were very impressed by their attention to cleanliness and the COVID guidance. Great menu with everything you coukd want from a traditional cafe . Very friendly staff . Great outdoor seating.

Went for breakfast on 21st Dec as we'd heard they do lovely breakfasts. Me, my husband and 1 of our adult daughters went. We were not disappointed. The staff were great. They were really friendly and welcoming. The food was really good. Everything is cooked fresh to order, and it's very reasonably priced too. The other customers that were also regulars were really friendly too. It's really popular considering it's only small, 4 tables inside, but there are tables/benches outside to use if the weathers dry. Had some lovely looking huge home made cakes on show to buy slices of too. Will definitely be going back and would definately recommend. 5☆s

Dale End Cafe is a small (but not cramped), cozy and welcoming Cafe. Me and my girlfriend have been there just twice now and its become our new favourite Cafe. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you get. We ordered two standard breakfasts and they were out, piping hot within 10 minutes! The food was perfection, from the runny eggs to the toast. The pot of tea you get with each breakfast is enough to fill your mug up twice, proper Yorkshire or PG tips tea bags as well! The staff are all lovely and friendly, all of them smiling! Overall both me and my girlfriend rate this cafe 11/10 and will be returning on a regular basis. You wont regret trying this place out!

Visited here on Sunday just before lunch time. We were a party of 7 and as a result had to push 2 tables together but a kind man offered to move so we could all fit in.We ordered our food, which did not take long to come and when it did, it was well worth it! The full English breakfasts looked amazing and for just £8.00 for a large breakfast, is fantastic value for money!The lady in the kitchen had cooked too much scrambled egg and also offered us this (free of charge) if we wanted some more, which we did and it was lovely. A couple of us had room left for a slice of cake afterwards, which were massive slices and very tasty I was told.All in all, this little place is fantastic for a value for money breakfast or lunch in a wonderfully run café, with very friendly and kind staff! We will certainly be back!

We stopped in for tea and cake after visiting the Museum of the Gorge and the Merry Thought Teddy Bear shop nearby. The welcome was very warm and friendly frim all the staff. The orange and lemon cake was beautifully tasty and very reasonably priced. We thoroughly recommend it as a place to take a relaxing break whilst you are visiting Ironbridge.

Visited with my friend from New Zealand couple of weeks ago. Friendly atmosphere, great service and we both enjoyed our chosen cooked breakfasts. All food was cooked perfectly to our liking. Great value too.

Dropped in here for coffee when walking back from Museum of Iron. Made very welcome by both staff and regular customers. WE had a lovely half hour with a coffee and a slice of fantastic lemon meringue!

There are only a handful of tables inside but all five of us had a great breakfast. Everything was cooked to order with friendly staff. Good value and we would certainly come again when in the area. The cakes also looked nice but we didn't have room left to try.

Great hot pork and stuffing bap, very freindly staff, a warm welcoming environment. Me and my girlfriend both had the hot pork and stuffing baps and we were both very impressed.

My wife and I arrived just after 8.30 this morning for a good old full English. Everything was cooked to order. The breakfasts were first class, eggs just how we liked them, bacon and sausage cooked to perfection and then all of the usual trimmings. We like the way your tea (Yorkshire), coffee (ground in Shrewsbury} and the toast (white or brown) are included in the price of the breakfast. We will certainly be returning.

I was cycling for nearly 8km's to the location for a survival weekend, had no breakfast before departure, really hungry by then. Just passed by this lil cafe where I ordered a Full English breakfast(perfect choice), great food, great value for money too.

We passed this café on a walk to the Museum of Iron and were glad to stop there on the way back. The people were very pleasant. We had toasted sandwiches served with salad and tortilla crisps, which were delicious. There was a range of pizzas available and delicious-looking cakes. A very good option for breakfast or a lunchtime snack.

Can’t fault this. Full menu including breakfasts and pizzas. Friendly staff serving from a nice clean cafe. Tables outside and several parking spaces that is really useful around here.

We had our lunch here and it was lovely, we all had sandwiches which were freshly made and very tasty highly recommend if you need a bite to eat.

We were delighted to find this little gem on the doorstep of our Airbnb during a short stay in Ironbridge. Friendly welcome, delicious light meals and cakes and a great breakfast menu. Reasonable prices and friendly locals passing through with advice on the best places to visit. A rare find in what is essentially a tourist town.

Had a tasty sandwich here while waiting to check into our cottage. Dogs welcome although the lady who served us seemed a bit reluctant to meet our very friendly Labrador.

Absolutely love this place, great food, great banter with the owners, great coffee and an all round great place to meet up. Every time I visit here I seem to meet new friends from the local community and walk away with a satisfied belly and a smile on my face.

This was in a great location- ideal for when we had walked down from Enginuity on a warm afternoon. The icecream was very good, and it was lovely to sit in the shady outside area. Everyone was so friendly and helpful here

Great breakfast- We had a bacon sandwich and a full English cooked to perfection with all fresh ingredients and fresh bread. Spot on!

My first visit to this amazing Cafe, cannot praise it enough. Food was beautiful and I as a Coeliac had a choice of delicious food and cake, it was so nice to be able to eat out. The GF spinach and broccoli tart & pasta salad are to die for as is the cake. Everyone in the group who had 'normal' menu items said the food was delicious.And as if that was not enough the owners and staff at the Cafe were awesome so warm and friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about dietary needs. They made us feel so welcome and even were kind enough to treat our dog. wonderful people, wonderful food and fantastic hospitality. I shall go there again (often) and would highly recommend anyone to go to there.

My husband and I have visited dale end cafe on a number of occassions for breakfast and have never been disappointed! The food is always perfectly cooked and of great quality! Staff are always more than accommodating and are very friendly!

Lovely place and lovely people, wouldn't say I Am a regular but I have visited a few times with my 2 little boys, nothing is too much trouble and we are always greeted with a warm welcome, the coffee is excellent which is rare to find, and all the other lovely things we have tried have not failed to hit the spot.

Visited for a breakfast and left with cakes for the family, all were fantastic tasting and clearly quality ingredients used, the eggs were fried to perfection! Would definitely recommend and pleased to have somewhere so close to the park for coffee and cake :)

A few of us visited for a late breakfast, and the portion was large and delicious! It came with a coffee which was lovely and I am a big coffee lover. Perfect slightly crispy bacon and the nicest black pudding I've ever had. I also did have a piece of raspberry and white chocolate cookie dough slab which was amazing.
