The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Totnes Town South Hams South West

What a delightful place to go for breakfast , we wandered in mainly because everywhere else didn’t open until 10am , We were very warmly welcomed , unfortunately I didn’t get the ladies name who looked after us , but she was friendly. Quirky nothing was to much trouble and the full English was freshly cooked ( we were told that because the sausages were freshly cooked there would be a wait ) Delicious local ingredients, the bubble and squeak was amazing . Wonderful coffee

Fantastic lunch here. I had ana amzing salad with beautifully crafted greens and butter beans as well as homemade hummus and the best Mediterranean roasted vegetables in Devon. The dressing was amazing and I believe they sell this to customers to take home. A fantastic spot and reasonably priced. Pleasant staff, it’s one to try!

The Hairy Barista oozes trendy coffee vibe and was bustling with a lovely vibe. We ordered coffees which took a little while to arrive - they were solid, but perhaps not as mind blowing as we were hoping for. Still a pleasant place to hang out in Totnes.

So pleased we found this independent cafe hidden down a side street. Received a warm welcome and had a lovely lunch. The food was beautifully presented and was so tasty. Will definitely revisit when next in Totnes. Thank you so much.

So hungry after smelling the kitchen cooking, my friend and I ordered food.... and I opted for Eggs Benedict. Now, the achilles heel of this dish, is a poor, often tough Muffin base. Here they served a large serving on two delightfully toasted, real bread slices. Just toasted enough, with plenty of hollandaise, and served by young, very enthusiastic staff. Highly recommended! Sadly, I did not like my coffee... this is probably related to me being a coffee snob! Very often a good establishment gets a machine contract tied to the supplier's idea (and cost) of the coffee they are obliged to use. This blend was bitter and not pleasant. I will drink tea next time.

I confess to being addicted to their Cornish puddings and fruit scones - along with their cheery staff. Definitely worth a visit.

Can't fault China Blue in any way. Great country style shop with a nice big eatery within. Prices are reasonable, and the food and portions are good as well. It is very easy to miss and drive by, though, despite being on the main road as you leave Totnes heading towards Plymouth.

Cute little coffee shop. Was excited about the cake as it looked good but unfortunately didn’t stay for any because the lady at the till was quite unwelcoming when we arrived

Great little music venue above a pub, very intimate with good acoustics. Visited to watch "40 Watt Sun" perform, who was excellent. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. There is a small bar with a limited range of drinks, but it is very easy to pop downstairs to the main bar for more choice. Will definitely be back to see more bands here.

Visited in September with our 1 year old. Ordered a variety of cakes and drinks, all of which were excellent. Staff went to extra trouble to find an ice cream flavour that our daughter liked. Have visited before for cream tea, and also for lunch, excellent both times. Convenient little cafe when in Totnes

Regrettably lacks and character or atmos inside

We decided to visit Totnes one afternoon and fancied a nice coffee. We saw this place and decided to walk in. I'm so glad that we did. We ordered two lattes and took our window seat. The coffee was amazing, served by a friendly male server. We are self styled coffee-snobs and it's hard to please us (especially me) but the coffee really was the best that I've had in ages. Never got to ask what kind of beans they were, would really love to know. Would definitely recommend and visit again.
