Been coming here over many years. Very popular with a good buzz and mix of customers. Grown familiar with the menu but still work around our regular choices. Good flavours, fast service and fair pricing. Holding its own alongside the busy burgeoning selection of international options downstairs.

Was told of this cafe, went with an old work colleague, when we arrived (09.30)there was a rush on with people collecting and ordering food for later, plus people sat out side . Owner said just take a seat I be with you soon. Not a problem we said. We sat chatting, looking around ,very clean place, enough seating for about 20 covers inside, same outside. A small nook with 2 leather sets in seating area ,idea for a quiet chat and coffee/tea. Owner came in after 15 mins.apologised again. Not an issue. Ordered 2 breakfast and 2 teas. Food arrived ,looked great tasted lovely, freshly cooked to order. 2 rounds of toast each, and a nice hot pot of tea each. Owner came over to ask how it was , we both said excellent and would Def return and recommend to others . Another pot of tea, then went to pay..it was the day of computer crash around world!!!!! Oops!!!!!! Could not pay full amount only had small amount with us. What to do,,well owner and son said not to worry pay next time you passing or come back . Thank you we said .. Doesn't that restore faith in community. I am going back on Tuesday 23rd and drop off money . Cost of breakfast £9.50. Tea £2.50 Plus not a scrap left on plate one of the best I've had if not best in a long time

An English breakfast can range from bland to a real treat. The breakfast at Coffee Time can not be beaten! The produce is of top quality, cooked perfectly and presented beautifully. The cafe itself is bright and spotless and the staff so friendly and obliging. The decor gives the feeling you are eating in a holiday town, a bit of escapism whatever the weather.

I would never of gone in there. It was pouring with rain, rather than get soaked I popped in. What I received was a very warm welcome and a very good breakfast type meal. It was excellent value for money, cooked to perfection. As and when I visit the area, I will pop in again to enjoy good food at a good price.

We like the bread and the snack food here, as well as the friendly staff and atmosphere inside and out. When we go it’s generally busy. Came down this Wednesday and saw the chalk board sign with new times Thursday to Saturday only. There was nothing about this on the website and we hope that it’s only temporary.

We have come here on many occasions, usually with friends, for breakfast. This is definitely the best breakfast in Plymouth, whether you have the Full Shebang, a big English breakfast but with spiced, scrambled eggs and balsamic tomatoes, or the Turkish breakfast. This is the one I have, and it is a baked egg dish with Sucuk, a spicy beef sausage, feta cheese, olives, tomatoes, and cucumber, accompanied by sourdough toast and warm honey. Absolutely delicious. Plus they have a fabulous menu of coffees and teas.

Not quite the cool bar it seeks to be. Very dark (almost zero lighting). Terrible service, however they did have easily the best top shelf spirits in Plymouth
