Has the beef with lemongrass, green beans and rice. Thoroughly enjoyed the presentation and flavour. My daughter had the crispy tofu noodle soup. A feast for the eye as well as the taste buds. We shared some veg. rolled in thin pancakes with a peanut dip. Staff are helpful and friendly. Price is very reasonable. It's basic table and chairs , some shared tables, but its street food ambience is fine. The market has great food places and it's a joy to start discovering them.

I would never of gone in there. It was pouring with rain, rather than get soaked I popped in. What I received was a very warm welcome and a very good breakfast type meal. It was excellent value for money, cooked to perfection. As and when I visit the area, I will pop in again to enjoy good food at a good price.

Pops served us and we enjoyed all the dishes- shawarma wrap, dahl with salad and rice and sausage and mash. Green smoothie delicious too! Highly recommend and not just for vegans but anyone who enjoys tasty freshly cooked food! Thanks Pops!

Excellent. Clean, well run and has friendly staff - the majority of whom are Portuguese. Authentic atmosphere helped by a screen displaying a video of a walk through Lisbon's streets. Smooth coffee with the choice of home made Portugese pastries and cakes. Mrs P highly recommends.

Mad Merchant is always a great spot for coffee, brunch or afternoon tea. They have the best selection of hot drinks!!! I love their spicy Brazilian coffee with a whole chili and chili flakes - YUM! My family and I always go here for afternoon tea too, as they have a choice of either sweet or savoury scones and the blue cheese and chutneys are DIVINE! Staff are always helpful, friendly and hard-working. I love the garden with its lovely Turkish decor too.

Fabulous place - a little hidden gem! Excellent food , great service & lovely atmosphere. Great to go somewhere that offers something a bit different- fantastic coffee. Avocado on hash browns was delicious! Good value - definitely going to return next time in Plymouth!

We like the bread and the snack food here, as well as the friendly staff and atmosphere inside and out. When we go it’s generally busy. Came down this Wednesday and saw the chalk board sign with new times Thursday to Saturday only. There was nothing about this on the website and we hope that it’s only temporary.

Not quite the cool bar it seeks to be. Very dark (almost zero lighting). Terrible service, however they did have easily the best top shelf spirits in Plymouth

We booked a private room at the Tudor Rose Tearooms for a baby celebration with family. We had their afternoon tea. The scones and cakes were delicious. They did a vegetarian option as well. The service was brilliant, I called the change the numbers several times and they were really accommodating and polite, even when I added another one when we arrived. They helped us take a group photo and provided some take-away containers as we couldn't finish all the food. There were 16 of us in the end and we had some space for the games. The room is small so that's something to bear in mind if looking at booking for a party, but it was exactly what we wanted. I would book again. Thank you Tudor Rose for your hospitality!
