Whenever we visit Glastonbury a visit to Pie and Tart at the end of the Gauntlet is a must. So much choice of cakes and savouries and Mandy's baking is to die for. Ask about dietary issues and food intolerances, you may be surprised what she can cater for. 10/10.

Freshly baked bread, and great sandwiches. We also had a couple of freshly made juices which were really nice. Allison, the owner is very chatty and friendly. Well recommended.

Wonderful home cooked food in a cute cafe opposite the Abbey. Great choice of specials and though I loved my cottage Pie I had food envy for my husband's chicken pie. Proper suet pastry and accompanied by 5 different types of veg plus roast potatoes. Gravy was replenished with a smile and no extra cost. Service was lovely. Fantastic choice of home made cakes and puddings which we fully intended to come back for but to be honest even after a visit up to the Tor we were still full! Thoroughly recommend.

Visited Glastonbury whilst on a weeks break in Crewkerne. Popped into to this lovely cafe as it was dog friendly. Forgetting my glasses I asked if they catered for gluten free, they did (it stated it on the menu). As I ordered the lady behind the counter asked if I was coeliac, I told her I was. When the food was brought to the table, the lady explained that she had cleaned the kitchen and prepared my food using all new unopened ingredients. All I had was a corned beef and onion sandwich, but the attention to detail was second to none. Really recommend this place to coeliacs and non coeliacs.

We have previously eaten here and enjoyed their various sandwiches, salads, good coffee and cakes. We decided to try their Sunday roast which had been recommended to us. There was a choice of pork, beef, chicken and a vegetarian option. We were so impressed when it arrived. It was freshly cooked and piping hot with a huge Yorkshire pudding, crispy roast potatoes and a good selection of lovely vegetables. Service with a smile from the lovely staff too! Thank you ☺️

The landlady and staff at this pub all seem to care deeply about their customers, the drinks they offer, the town of Glastonbury and their welcome. My own choice of tipple, Stag, is easily the best pint I have ever enjoyed. This is a BIG old pub! There are two large bars, a snug and a huge beer garden where we spent a very enjoyable few hours. When we went there was only one member of the bar staff working. But a couple of minutes out of our lives is pretty negligible, especially considering what we were waiting for (Stag!) And there is even a little notice in the carriage bar requesting a little patience. If visitors expect instant service of substandard, homogenous products at a Poundland price, might I suggest they pop into a 'Spoons rather than a family-run community pub?

I booked a table for here months in advance as we were going on Winter Solstice and it's usually busy here normally so I knew it would be busier this time of the year! The staff were lovely and welcoming despite them running around because it was so busy. We had a nice, big table all to ourselves towards the back, which was a bit quieter (I prefer the front room by the bar but they were already taken sadly). We weren't that hungry but the staff kindly served us a lovely bread board without the olives (cos we don't like those so didn't want to waste!). It was that nice, I never got a chance to photograph it! This is always my favourite place to come when I'm in Glastonbury so hopefully can have a meal next time!

Este lugar hace que Wetherspoons parezca un restaurante Marco Pierre White. No esperaba mucho y todavía estaba decepcionado.
