the Assembly rooms are decorated with gorgeous wall hangings and are very atmospheric. A good place to attend an event. Enjoyed it very much.

This is my favourite cafe in Glastonbury - a place for the people run by angels who give so much to the community. It's a place for people to get together or to meet new faces. It's fairly small and cosy, comfy sofas and wifi but prepared for it to get busy and chatty - but that's part of the charm! Great affordable food - vegan chilli jacket potato is always a winner. Love the pay it forward system, love the faces, love the art - great space, thank you!

Wildwood cafe is Wonderfull. Food is delicious, people are friendly and I love their pay it forwards scheme where you can buy someone less fortunate than yourself a meal for £3.

Found this place by accident, just saw a sigh on the high street pointing down an alleyway. Cooked breakfast, lovely coffee, hot chocolate and Yorkshire tea. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended

The Assembly Rooms in Glastonbury is a wonderful upstairs space with lots of room to chill. The tea and the food are very good and I found the staff to be welcoming and friendly. They are also a semi-official water station and will refill your bottle free of charge - a huge bonus. I highly recommend this cafe.

Visiting Glastonbury and talking to various shopkeepers, this little cafe was recommended. Very reasonable. Home made bread and cakes. Very much frequented by locals. Worth a pop in to try their food.

Enjoyed a relaxing coffee and cakes here. The afternoon tea was very tasty with the homemade scone. The flapjack was also very good. The coffee was freshly ground and made. Loved the idea also of buying a peg that can then the used by a local homeless person to get a free drink or food.

We popped in for a quick coffee and hot chocolate, the place was very busy and clearly popular. Good service and very reasonably priced. I would have been tempted by the lovely cakes on offer, but we'd just had lunch. Next time...!

I have visited this establishment many times over the years and we often pop into the cafe upstairs. Lovely down to earth lady who makes some wonderful cakes, with the best chocolate cake I have ever tasted ( and I don't usually like chococlate cake!)

We try to visit The Assembly Rooms everytime we are in the area. The food and drinks are lovely and such good value and the Chocolate cake is simply spectacular! The lady who runs it is so friendly and recognises us each visit and makes time for a chat. Love it.

Great atmosphere. Lovely fresh home made pea and mint soup. Very good value for money. The bowl of soup was so big I couldn't finish mine.

It's taken me a month to write this review, because I got the feeling that the person working in the cafe was really keen on providing a good service and good food. So I hate to knock that enthusiasm.

We stopped here on a whim to get coffee and cake. Relaxed atmosphere and wonderful cake and coffee. Really reasonably priced (£1 for coffee!). I had the chocolate cake and it was absolutely scrummy. It was also baby friendly. Highly recommend.

We came in here for cakes and coffee and were not disappointed - the chocolate cake was absolutely superb - light, moist very chocolaty but not oversweet, and the carrot cake was really good too. The coffee was perfectly OK, but it was the cakes that made the visit memorable! Good value too and friendly service - I will definitely visit again if I am in the area.

Excellent ice creams, great variety and flavour. I visited with my dogs on a really hot day in July. Perfect way to cool down. Also a special mention to the pet shop Wiggle and Wag which shares a site with the gelato shop. Both great.

We don’t really know Dorking but came for a comedy gig and wanted food and drink before the show. We booked a table online and then were a bit confused when we walked in as it’s looks like a work space but then has a bar and says it served food. The staff explained they had a limited menu currently. As we were there and we’d booked we thought we’d give it a go. We ordered halloumi fries to start and then various burgers - whilst initially worried this was just going to be a zap in the microwave job; how wrong we were. The food was so good. The food was restaurant quality!! The staff (particularly the gent I assume was the manager) were so friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. We will definitely go again; and look forward to when they have their full menu.

A truly great evening was had last night. We went for a Christmas meal, and from the point of arrival when we found “Thatchers Zero” in the fridge for the designated driver, to settling up at the end of the evening the experience was great. Super friendly staff, and a well behaved pub dog who just had a look of “please love me” on his face. The food was superb, and the price was good value for money. I would definitely recommend the pub.

Visited Glastonbury whilst on a weeks break in Crewkerne. Popped into to this lovely cafe as it was dog friendly. Forgetting my glasses I asked if they catered for gluten free, they did (it stated it on the menu). As I ordered the lady behind the counter asked if I was coeliac, I told her I was. When the food was brought to the table, the lady explained that she had cleaned the kitchen and prepared my food using all new unopened ingredients. All I had was a corned beef and onion sandwich, but the attention to detail was second to none. Really recommend this place to coeliacs and non coeliacs.

The Sunrise Cafe may look like an ordinary cafe on the outside but inside the food is something special! Choose something from The Thai menu if you like Thai food and you will experience some of the best authentic Thai cooking outside Thailand! We stopped here for lunch after driving around the Malvern Hills all morning thinking it was just a normal cafe but discovered that it also had a Thai Menu cooked by a delightful Thai lady Chef called "Jim". I am not sure how she came by that name but she was definitely a woman! We chose Tom Yum chicken soup and checked that would not be too spicy hot first. It was perfect and also contained Mushroom, Sping Onion and Tomato. Incredibly tasty with a mild warmth aftertaste. We followed this with a Chicken Massaman Curry which included a Jasmine sticky rice. The curry was the best we have tasted. It looked so appetising with it's rich golden colour. The friendly Hungarian waitress also supplied us with water and afterwards my wife Angie had a hot chocolate and I had a White Cofffee. A fantastic meal and drinks for just under £20 a head. If you are touring the Malverns this is worth taking a detour for! It is open from about 8:30 am to 4pm this time of the year and has a garden available at the back for outdoor seating in the summer months. The Cafe also serves a range of cooked breakfasts and lunches or hot sandwiches, some deserts, milkshakes, hot and cold drinks.
