Hint of Herb in Mendip

Freshly baked bread, and great sandwiches. We also had a couple of freshly made juices which were really nice. Allison, the owner is very chatty and friendly. Well recommended.

Me encanta este lugar. La señora que dirige este lugar si una de las personas más agradables que he conocido. Ella es muy eficiente y muy servicial.

Es absolutamente encantador! Pan recién hecho, sabrosos, rellenos de sabor y buena relación calidad-precio. Parece bueno para usted también! No sentir aquí, todo de plástico casa hechos a la orden. Toque de hierbas es accesible desde el aparcamiento principal y al instante, con el hierbas atrae creciente en la repisa de la ventana. El propietario Alison fue muy agradable y obviamente trabajaban muy duro para comenzar esta nueva aventura. Mis dos viejos amigos de escuela y ojalá su suerte en este primer año,. Siento Alison, mi foto de usted desde fuera de la tienda no sale, demasiado sombra!

Que me digan donde puedes ir donde sándwiches son hechas con amor? Mi elección fue un tomate pan han hecho sólo como la masa fermentada hace su propio dueño de pan con una buena cantidad de atún, y densamente distribuidas y sin demasiado mayonesa. Mi único problema fue que fuimos a dos millas y luego tuvimos que parar en un layby como consideraba volver por unos segundos. Será sin duda una parada en mi próxima visita! ! !

I was just walking through the Gauntlet when I spotted "Hint of Herb" and after looking at all the choices available decided to go in - I was not disappointed the bread was delicious and freshly baked in the shop and I was given a b0x for my sandwich - brilliant for a picnic!

I have been here twice. Ate salmon sandwiches with the most amazing home made bread which changes daily. Now a regular. Please visit as businesses like this need to thrive.

This place is brilliant! They serve a wide range of sandwiches and salads, all with unique combinations of herbs and foods, alongside descriptions of what each item is beneficial for! I had the cream cheese sandwich with basil and rosemary ('helps reduce stress, colic, & flatulence') and it was delicious- and I'm pleased to say I'm not suffering from any of the aforementioned maladies hahaha. The lady who runs the place is absolutely lovely and very helpful. Perfect place to grab a sandwich for a picnic in the Abbey or Chalice Well! Bring cash though, cuz there's no card machine. YUM!

We were made so welcome. Our sandwiches were lovingly prepared for us and we had a great chat with the owner. She is a delightful lady. Had my first cup of nettle tea, which she recommended and it was delicious, along with my very yummy houmus, red pepper, lettuce and home made coleslaw sandwich. Highly recommended.
