Visited Glastonbury whilst on a weeks break in Crewkerne. Popped into to this lovely cafe as it was dog friendly. Forgetting my glasses I asked if they catered for gluten free, they did (it stated it on the menu). As I ordered the lady behind the counter asked if I was coeliac, I told her I was. When the food was brought to the table, the lady explained that she had cleaned the kitchen and prepared my food using all new unopened ingredients. All I had was a corned beef and onion sandwich, but the attention to detail was second to none. Really recommend this place to coeliacs and non coeliacs.

Loved the interior decor! Really felt like I was in the Caribbean, lots of nice little decorative touches. Cakes looked great but I was too full after main! Chutney was nice, but couldn't really taste Caribbean flavours? It was a hot day so didn't order a hot meal, definitely would if I went back!

I ordered Eggs Benedict, the sauce tasted like Mustard & Salad Cream mixed together, the Ham was really dry & flaky & tasted really artificial & canned. I got bread instead of muffins. And it left the most awful taste in my mouth for hours afterwards! I had to keep eating mints to get rid of the awful taste. This cafe has a five star rating, but there was condensation everywhere, the plaster was damp & flaking, we even had to move tables when we noticed the massive cobwebs with dead flies in it, stuck to the light fitting overhead! I've never had such an awful tasting and badly presented version of this classic dish and I certainly won't be going back again!

Had our first visit to this cafe this morning as part of a stay with the 8 owls B&B.; One of the things I love about Glastonbury is how the local businesses all seem to help and support each other so it was really good to see the B&B; sharing business with this lovely place. When we walked in we got a warm welcome from the gent behind the counter and he showed us to our table. The breakfast selection included with our stay was really good, decent amount of choice. Our first morning in Glastonbury and many of the cafes did not allow our little dog, he was welcomed in here without issue and this place set us up for the weekend. The staff were warm and welcoming, the breakfast was delicious, i had poached egg on toast and the toast was the best i have ever had, i asked where it came from and it was their supplier but so tasty. They were very busy and we were told very apologetically that there would be a bit of a wait for food, when we asked how long the lovely server said 20 minutes, that did make us chuckle as coming from nearer London a bit of a wait can be anything up to an hour. Sadly our stay was too short to make a second visit here but would highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

My boyfriend and I first visited Glastonbury in May together. We were very excited so we got there pretty early when nothing was open like our typical unorganized selves. We saw a lady putting chairs out at a cafe due to open within 10 minutes and asked if we could sit and wait for them to open but were turned away. A few doors down we came across this cafe which was already open and welcomed us warmly. The staff were cheerful and you could feel they genuinely enjoyed seeing you, the atmosphere was fantastic. A big range of tea and coffee which fitted our random tastes perfectly, we perused the menu and saw a strange option for smoked salmon with scrambled egg on toast.
