A great little refuge on a wet and windy day. The scones were among the best we have had and also a vegan option for one of our party, lovely staff and welcomed our two soggy spaniels 😊

Been going to Cornwall for the past 20 years but just had probably the best pastie ever. Visiting Tintagel and stopped in by chance for a pasty and a cup of tea and absolutely fantastic. Lovely shop, nice pot of English Breakfast tea and a traditional pasty with real steak, well cooked veg all in really tasty pastry. Absolutely hit the spot. Sat in the lovely cafe and watch the world go by and chatted to the lovely staff. What more could you want in life? 😉

Make this a destination if you’re in the area. Top class service both at lunchtimes and evenings. Massive selection of “Specials” and their own beers. Great staff who work well as a team with Chef “Pete” working some magic back of house. Clean and tidy. Dog friendly. Relaxed atmosphere Give it a go !

My husband and I stopped here for an impromptu, commiseratory pasty after a big wave soaked our feet (and our dog). The steak pasties are delicious (lovely hint of black pepper), and so is the Cornish Cola. And the dog looked so sandy and soggy, she was offered a sausage to cheer her up! Great food and even better service – what a fantastic place.

I read lots of reviews about the Horseshoe Inn being good. We found it far from that. We felt very uncomfortable when we came in. The landlord was sat chatting to friends and we didn’t get much of a welcome. We ordered food which took an hour & quarter to arrive which considering we were a table of four and the only ones eating was far too long to wait. The food was mediocre but overall the whole experience was poor.

Delicious pasties / sausage rolls, good value as they were huge! Lovely seating area to the side to enjoy your takeaway delights 😀.

The view is amazing, the place is depressing - dont expect any service and do expect to sit on an unwelcoming terrace, and being served by staff in old, dirty uniforms - sell up and move on owners, you are letting history down.
