What a delightful place to go for breakfast , we wandered in mainly because everywhere else didn’t open until 10am , We were very warmly welcomed , unfortunately I didn’t get the ladies name who looked after us , but she was friendly. Quirky nothing was to much trouble and the full English was freshly cooked ( we were told that because the sausages were freshly cooked there would be a wait ) Delicious local ingredients, the bubble and squeak was amazing . What a fabulous find, friendly, excellent service, great local produce. The staff couldn’t do enough for our three under three children. I would 100% recommend for coffee/sandwiches/ pasties and a nice relaxing atmosphere. Thanks for a great lunch and for being amazing with our three girls. 💜

Just WOW, we ordered 20 sandwich platters for our end of year picnic for our preschool. Laura was amazing at making sure that all our sandwiches were absolutely free of any egg or nuts, she went above and beyond with the variety of ingredients. The selection of sandwiches were all so delicious, 100% will be using again. Also 100% positive feedback from our parents and children. Thank you so much Laura and your amazing team.

Excellent service and the best panini in town. We were welcomed with a warm smile and the coffee was excellent too. Friendly staff and high quality food - highly recommended!

Lovely breakfast and the tea and coffee is just first class. Warm welcome and such a cozy atmosphere. Can get busy on a Saturday but so easy to ask to reserve a table and give a time.

Whenever we visit Glastonbury a visit to Pie and Tart at the end of the Gauntlet is a must. So much choice of cakes and savouries and Mandy's baking is to die for. Ask about dietary issues and food intolerances, you may be surprised what she can cater for. 10/10.

Was visiting friends in the area and they recommended this local pub. Was the perfect choice for party of 5. Nice, small pub atmosphere run by lovely family. Food was delicious. (I had cottage pie - perfect. They also had vegetarian cottage pie.) and nice beers. There was a local competition of skittles (like bowling) in the side room and made it fun to watch it on the TVs while we drank at the bar and chatted. Was a great experience, highly recommnded and worth the visit!

Great spot, lovely bacon butties and seriously good coffee! We had ours to take away and sat on one of the benches right at the front, was a brilliant way to start the day!

Had the best cup of coffee to be found in Barnstaple while my daughter had her skateboard refurbished. Friendly owner and just how a local business should be!

My husband and I had tea and good toast sat outside this friendly cafe. A lovely, quiet area of town, I recommend a visit, especially on a sunny day.
