What a fabulous find, friendly, excellent service, great local produce. The staff couldn’t do enough for our three under three children. I would 100% recommend for coffee/sandwiches/ pasties and a nice relaxing atmosphere. Thanks for a great lunch and for being amazing with our three girls. 💜

Fabulous coffee, tremendous cakes and good value too! Staff are friendly and they have some really good little knock knacks, treats and goodies. Would highly recommend, best place in Newquay

Delicious mocha and cappuccino. Friendly staff and space inside and out. Nice selection of Cornish foods and quality gifts in the Deli at the front of the building. 2 mins walk from the bus station.

Lovely cafe, coffee delicious, most coffee is double shot and quite strong, ask for large cup or only single shot. Had a Cruffin??? with our coffee. A Cruffin is a cross between a croisant and a muffin and delicious. Staff great nothing was to much trouble. Enjoyable morning.

A great addition to Newquay, cafe combined with a great selection of Cornish products in the shop area. Spotlessly clean cafe area , friendly staff and lovely coffee and Cruffin. Highly recommend.

The drinks and food here are really good and are very well priced for the area. The staff are very friendly as well. I would highly recommend trying the ‘cruffin’.

Can not recommend this new restaurant enough!! Great service, very cosey atmosphere, and a great selection of interesting and unique produce. We had just surfed so took them up in the offer of Fresh soup and crusty bread and it didn’t disappoint! Filling, full of flavour and piping hot! Can not wait to visit again soon!

I LOVE the great use of this iconic old building. The Counting House has real character and a lovely vibe. I visited for a coffee and enjoyed a cheese and ham croissant with my dad. He dipped in to the cakes on the counter and was impressed with his flat white. We had a walk around the deli and admired the great selection of wines and charcuterie. We'll be back to pick up some Christmas presents later this month! We received our coffee's and food in good time, from a very professional and smiley member of the Counting House team. There are so many places where coffee costs over the odds and you don't receive the service that the price demands. But The Old Counting House has got it all just right. I'll be back and I'll be spreading the word to my colleagues, friends and the customers to my business. You must have a look in the back, where the old 'safe' is. A lovely use of the old fixtures and fittings. We'll be back!

Excellent service, but I can’t say that the staff on the day were friendly or welcoming. I had a Latte and a Cruffin. The Latte was to my taste any the Cruffin was exceptional and would highly recommend anyone to forget the calories for once and try one. Will definitely be returning next time we’re in Newquay.

Was looking for a hot drink when we stumbled into this place. We was greeted by the friendly boss and his daughter. Everything sold in the store/coffee shop was made in Cornwall. I had a black coffee, my wife a cornish peppermint tea and my son with autism they specially made him a hot chocolate. My wife then strolled round the store and bought some local rum and I bought a lovely pork pie. A real gem amongst the bigger coffee shops but not to be missed

This is a relatively new establishment; cafe/deli. I had a Cappuccino and a cinnamon swirl. The were polite and fast. The Cappuccino was a little on the small side for my liking, but was nice to drink and the cinnamon swirl was nice.

Great freshly cooked food down at The Track. No need to pack a picnic Julie has a large menu of freshly cooked and prepared foods . Support the small local businesses you won’t be disappointed

Very good B&B in a very central location. But it is very expensive so 'value for money' comes into question. Very good cooked breakfast served in the mornings but for the money it should provide freshly squeezed orange juice.

Went into the Orange Cafe Bar on New Year’s Eve day time not actually knowing it was a plant based cafe. Not being vegan doesn’t mean you can’t visit this lovely little cafe, there were four of us and we had meals and drinks, I had hummus and roasted vegetables which was delicious my partner had a flat bread type meal and our other two friends had mac and cheese and loaded fries everyone enjoyed their meal, don’t bypass this lovely cafe in the middle of the village.

The waitress did not listen and proceeded to get four orders wrong the coffee was good but the food left a lot to be desired hardly any choice we went at one o clock and lots of things were out of stock definitely would not recommend

Very friendly service, immaculately clean cafe area and of course the adorably friendly Hugo (the dog) - wonderful experience, thank you
