Lovely cream tea, good price and great service. Went there with our 2 boys who were happy to play hoops while talking to Reg the cat

I like many others took a bit of a gamble due to it being such a new TripAdvisor account but my god it was worth it. A quick call to check as there was 11 of us but the 3 picnic benches seated us all comfortably. Great service from the lovely owner. 4 choices of scone: traditional, cheese, plain and another one which changes dependent on the day. All served with nice bone China cups and saucers and a good teapot size too! Kept all 11 of us happy and the cats (Reggie and Ronnie) were well behaved around us but mind your cream reggie has quite a good sense of smell. I imagine it wouldn't be an issue if you weren't a fan of cats to have them shut in the house for your stay. If we were local I would return every month will be sure to visit when we're next down here.

I had seen the signs for Cream Teas as I traveled to and from Wadebridge and today decided to try them out. What a delightful experience I had. Up a little lane you step out of your car and into a delightful garden. Colourful tables in the prettiest setting with the chirping of guinea fowl the only sounds in this peaceful garden. On the menu homemade scones a choice of plain, fruit and scone of the week which was cherry all served with homemade jam and locally made clotted cream. I though opted for the savoury version which was a delicious warm cheese scone served with Davidstow Cheddar Cheese and homemade mango & chilli chutney. Just fabulous. Then because I had foregone lunch I decided to finish with a cherry scone jam & cream. These were all served with a pot of coffee (tea for the purists) and served in pretty vintage china cups and saucers. Sally please carry on with what you are doing - your service is second to none!

What a great find this place was, up a little lane and into a beautiful secret garden at the top, complete with Guinea fowl running about ! , and a very smart Summerhouse. You have a choice of different coloured benches to sit on, all very cheerful. As was the lovely lady who came to serve us, we had a choice of scones, all home made. There’s special guest scones , which are on for a week at a time, fruit and plain scones, cheese scones, made with local Davidstow cheddar. Home made jams and chutneys, and locally made clotted cream too, so there is plenty of choice. You also have a choice of a pot of tea or coffee to accompany your cream tea. We opted for the guest scone, which was a stem ginger scone, we had it with the homemade greengage jam and clotted cream , it was simply sensational, best I’ve ever had !. The use of beautiful china that it was served with made it a very enjoyable visit. Can’t wait to go back and try some of the other scones. If you are anywhere near Wadebridge, don’t miss this hidden gem !.

Whilst having a stroll around Mousehole we came upon the Orange Cafe Bar by chance with it being up a lane just away from the harbour. We did not immediately realise it was a vegan cafe but that was not an issue for us. The staff were warm and friendly, explaining the dishes so that we could make an informed choice. We went for the burger (patty) and cake, both of which were delicious. People often shy away from eating this type of food but on this showing they should give it a go, which saw two diners leave very happy.

I have been here four times now, its become a thing whenever we come to Newquay, tattoo before I go home. The staff are incredibly friendly and always chatting away when you're there. They make you feel like part of the family. It's clean, tidy, always smells so good woth the cakes and coffee, I always feel like I'm home when I go in.

Very good B&B in a very central location. But it is very expensive so 'value for money' comes into question. Very good cooked breakfast served in the mornings but for the money it should provide freshly squeezed orange juice.

Delicious coffee in a beautiful location. Dogs very welcome! With an on-site natural pet shop and a large car park.

We found our way to Freathy Farmhouse Cafe by following a sign from Whitsand Bay. What a lovely find! Very rustic and charming cafe. We sat outside in the sun and enjoyed very generous sandwiches served with delicious salad. Some of us even managed cake! We will definitely return although I understand it is best to check opening times. Ps Loved the decor in the loo!
