This is my favourite cafe in Reading. They do fantastic large portions of cake and lovely coffee. It's brilliant having a high quality cafe that's also 100% suitable for Coeliacs.

I visited while in the area for the day and had a lovely lunch. The coffee was really nice and there was a great selection of sweets treats. I also got some scones and quiche to take away which were amazing. A really friendly relaxing atmosphere, can't wait to visit again.

Fantastic evening at this lovely little venue. First visit for us and we’ll be back. The team there went above and beyond. It was my daughters birthday and they made her feel really special. We went along to the ‘Brush Party’, it was the first one they held there and we 100% recommend, if you get the chance, go along, it’s lots of fun and really absorbing.

Hands down the best coffee around—so good that I happily travel quite a distance just to get my fix! Phil & Mandy, the amazing couple behind Anonymous Coffee, have created something truly special. Their passion for quality is evident in every cup, and we love having their beans at home to keep the experience going. Beyond the coffee, it's the people that make this place shine. The staff are wonderful, kind, and welcoming, making every visit feel like catching up with friends. It’s also a hub for the local community, where you’ll see familiar faces every day, adding to the warmth of the place. If you ever spot the Anonymous sign, do yourself a favor and stop by—you won’t regret it! ☕✨

Flavour of Mauritius is an absolute hidden gem in Reading! Great food and drinks, super friendly staff, and an excellent ambiance that makes you feel right at home. They host amazing events like rum tastings, which add a unique touch to the experience. I’ll definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommend checking it out! 🌟

Christina and Caitlyn are the best!

Booked for lunch on a Saturday meeting a friend, neither of us are local so went for somewhere with good reviews close to the station. It’s on a road with nothing else apart from offices easily found from the station and opens up when you go downstairs into a spacious and welcoming basement, lovely little bar area too. Waiter was attentive without being intrusive. We had starters and mains, absolutely delicious and well presented. Highly recommend.

Honest burger is one of my favourite places to eat out in reading, the food is always delicious and leaves you full and satisfied with great value for price. I would recommend the buffalo chicken burger with the rosemary chips as it’s my favourite. I also enjoy how there are new specials every so often in case you want to try something new.

Came for bottomless brunch which was really great value, we were very happy. Lots of nice drinks, good food and service was good. Thank you!

A real GEM in the centre of Reading. Picnic never fails to delight, truly delicious food , life changing cakes ( we ate salad box #1 with feta, lentils, salad leaves and broccoli with a bright kick of chimmichuri and WONDEROUS cinnamon cake thank you for asking) and the best coffee in Reading, bar none. Comfortable, relaxed and friendly atmosphere with excellent staff who can’t help but make you smile. Go once, go often. You won’t regret it,

Asked for a coffee and was told to wait outside whilst they made it! Oh cheers. Also they leave all there waste by the public bins, not even in them! Encouraging vermin and general mess

Delicious bagels, great choice and now a choice of bagels too! Great staff, very friendly and the coffee's good too… what’s not to like!
