Gem of a place. Lovely food, quality ingredients, tasty and not your boring average menu choices. Stylish decor and ambience. It can get busy and you may need to wait a short time at peak times but staff are good and help manage the wait and getting a table. Service is good.

They do the best hot grilled wraps in town. Service is always excellent. Great selection, freshly made every time.

Very nice pub. Friendly staff, nice food and dog friendly. There's space outside for sunny days and a warm fireplace inside for chilled days.

I had the pleasure of being part of the Ladies Golf Academy last year, and it was such a fantastic experience! Kiel was a patient coach, taking the time to explain things clearly and offering helpful, constructive feedback. His coaching was not only informative but also delivered in a way that kept the sessions fun and engaging for everyone. One of the little things I learned (that I surprisingly never knew!) was which hand you wear the golf glove on, turns out, it’s the opposite of your dominant hand. Just one of the many small but valuable tips I picked up along the way. The atmosphere was always welcoming and supportive, and it made learning feel like a treat rather than a task. Highly recommend it to anyone curious about golf or looking to improve their game in a relaxed and friendly setting!

I popped in first thing in the morning, ordered a bacon sandwich and cappuccino. Both were superb! The granary bread was really fresh,lots of bacon and plenty of sauce on the side for me to put on! The coffee also was great! The cakes on display all looked amazing feel like I must return to try a slice, although think it would take me a while to decide as all looked so tempting!

Had a great get together for 50th party service was good with the amount of people. Did not have any food so left score in middle

We visited here quite regularly with my grandson. We are always made very welcome. The seating area is clean and accessible. The coffee is the best around and the cakes are delicious. The sandwiches are ample in size and filling and leaves one nice and full. I would recommend this to others without hesitation.

Fantastic garden centre, lots of character, the most beautiful restaurant, but also the most awful, grim toilet. The gift shops were lovely, and the way the plants were set out, created a beautiful browsing experience.

Absolutely superb! I had the duo of lamb which was delicious! The sauces and veg were both spot on and a perfect accompaniment. I’m told the tequila and lime chicken was also 1st class “an inspired flavour combination and perfectly cooked!” We shared an elderflower and lemon sponge with custard for pudding which was impossibly light and “both refreshing and comforting”. Excellent work! The staff (Jake in particular) did an exceptional job in supporting such a cracking menu. We’ll definitely be back

Lovely fried egg bap today with a side of hash brown for me and a small English for hubby, unfortunately they had run out of sausages but he had an extra piece of bacon. Very tasty food and friendly service. Nice to see that the animals obviously live outside and an opportunity to buy some of the home produced meats in the shop.

Excellent Nursery/garden centre. Helpful and very knowledgeable staff and plenty of choice of plants all very high quality and good value. Best Garden Centre I've ever been to by far.
