Colleagues and I descended on the place unanounced around lunch. We were about 15 maybe more. We were greeted by lovely smiles and service who did well dealing with our own chaos, including my unhelpful "just bring something" when asked what I wanted to have on my jacket potato! I'm not entirely sure how my colleagues located the place, but if you're in the area, it's well worth the detour as the employees clearly enjoy having people over. I'll end talking about how smiley they were again because in an industry of hospitality, you have so many cafes where you feel they're doing you a favour by letting you in, but if you come at More+ you'll definitely feel welcome!

A welcoming and pleasant place to enjoy your tea and cake with a paper. The staff are friendly and helpful and there is a great community spirit running through the cafe. Majority of staff are volunteers guided by a couple of paid staff. I cannot recommend their fruit cake highly enough.I am a new visitor here but I am treated as a long standing regular, overall More + is the best cafe in Aylesbury. Also prices are very pocket friendly

This is lovely little cafe: homemade cakes, beautiful interior, warm and friendly staff, fair prices. It is the perfect place to catch up with friends, knit and natter or even hold a business meeting. Humble yet classy, it is definitely More ++

Discovered this place while doing our laundry around the corner! Such a lovely space, light, airy and comfortable. The staff are really welcoming and helpful and the breakfast we had was delicious, served very quickly, and was a really good price considering how generous the portion was. Lots of options for vegetarians as well as meat eaters - highly recommend the sourdough!

Had lovely lunch of soup - orange and lentil, very tasty - and husband had appetising ham and tomato sarnie, nicely presented with salad and crisps. Cakes looked absolutely gorgeous, will be tempted to sample one next time. Staff very friendly, attentive and efficient and place was very clean and tidy. Lots of parking available when we visited. Overall ambience very pleasant. Will come again.

A really friendly place for coffee and cake or a light lunch. It's run by a charity for the local community but the volunteers are so professional you hardly know.

Ok so the selection of drinks for kids was limited, but the service and atmosphere was great. They could do more food etc and have wider choices but I suppose demand drives selection. What we had was superb. Thanks we will be back!

I am home at the present time following a Hip Replacement, I need to walk to exercise, so made my way to More Cafe, thought I would break my walk with a cuppa, it was lovely and welcoming, straight away, a lady asked if I was ok to take my ate to the table as I had a walking stick with me, we had a chat, after my cuppa and a rest, I made my way home, it was good to get out and have a chat.

This is a lovely place, staff friendly, food was just right nothing over complicated and nicely presented. You can tell all the cakes were home made they are just so much better than the mass produced ones you get at the usual high street coffee shops - delicious! Just the place to meet friends and relax.

I always receive a warm and friendly welcome when going here. Itsclean, inviting. The coffees good and cake is delicious. They have weekly activities, cards, baby coffee morning so a few things to try and bring the wider community in. Its only open from 10 so unfortunately I cant always stop here and they're not open on weekends although I think they have plans to. Worth a stop of you're passing

More+ has been open for a few months now and provides a comfortable and friendly atmosphere for a quiet cup of tea or coffee or a cosy place to meet with a friend for a chat.I would recommend More+ if you are in the area, nice to be in a café that has not been corporate designed and has an individual look and feel.

What do you do when your area has no place to meet up for a chat with your neighbours and for social activities? Well most people would moan about it and do nothing. But in the Broughton and Oakfield neighbourhood of Aylesbury they decided to do something positive. They formed a Community Action group to take over a closed Blockbuster video shop. In this they were supported by the landlords who have local roots and wanted to encourage independent shops to add to the variety of the retail offer. So it was great to go along and meet Roy McNickle and the other volunteers at MORE+ the rather swish new community coffee shop in Parton Road, Aylesbury run by Broughton Community Action. It is a wonderful focal point for residents of all ages living on the Broughton Pastures and Oakfield estates. More+ is run by Broughton Community Action, a charity set up in 2013 with a vision to open a community coffee shop to serve local people.Broughton is a great place to live but there has been a real lack of places where people can meet together. The Community Action Group believes that community isn’t just about where you live, it’s about getting to know the people who live around you and we hope that more+ will be a meeting place for people of all ages to do just that.On the day I visited I enjoyed the "look & feel" and warm ambience of More+. The design was by a talented son of one of the committee and looked very professional indeed. The cakes and pastries here are mainly homemade and the tasty slice of Ginger & Walnut cake I tried was just moist with a lovely bite from the ginger. A full range of coffees, teas & cold beverages is offered as is Wi-Fi and papers and magazines. In this it reminded me of the neighbourhood coffee shops you find in the States and Canada and which are used by the community for Book Clubs, Chess Games, local meetings and so on. Parton Road is on the right off the A41 on the way into Aylesbury from London and is well worth a pit-stop as a neighbourhood shopping centre boasting an excellent Fish & Chip Shop, Co-Op Foodstore, Chinese Take Away, Lost Sock Launderette and in A. Cobb a traditional English Butcher so good that even Prime Minister David Cameron has popped in from nearby Chequers to buy his lamb chops. If you are around Aylesbury then pop into More+, the community run Coffee Shop with the best Coffee and Cake, not to mention community spirit, in the area.

I popped in first thing in the morning, ordered a bacon sandwich and cappuccino. Both were superb! The granary bread was really fresh, lots of bacon and plenty of sauce on the side for me to put on! The coffee also was great! The cakes on display all looked amazing feel like I must return to try a slice, although think it would take me a while to decide as all looked so tempting!
