Went for a walk at the weekend and we decided to have lunch out. We have 2 young children (4 & 2) and the staff couldn't be more welcoming. They ensured that all of us were happy to alter their menu for our fussy eaters! The drinks arrived and they were just at the right temperature, we had a Hot Chocolates & the children had babyccino and everyone could drink them straight away. Food arrived, nice and warm and just what we needed after our walk. The cake flavours varied and there was something there for everyone and we all walked out needing another walk!

We arrived for s quick lunch with our son snd 2 young grand children. It was very busy, being half term, however we were not told about the long delay for getting any food. We waited for 40 minutes to get a couple of children's sandwich meals, 2 coffees and 2 heated through pies. For the princely sum of £27, I can't even begin to understand how it came to do much. I am sorry but I could not think of any reason why I could recommend this place to anybody!

Well what can I say. We ordered our lunch, drinks came eventually and waited for food. I ordered beef and horse radish with rocket which came flat as it had been toasted, very odd, very dry . Why does that need to be put in panini press. The young people serving looked a cross between nervous and scared. Other family lunch was bacon and brie which was so flat it was crunchy and flavourless, tea was frothy and tasteless and for the price was not pleasurable. Doubt will go again. Also walls need some soft furnishings on to take away noise levels. You couldn't here yourself think.

We knew CuriosiTEA had moved as we had an awful experience at Wild Raven (not realising they were not there any more) but were not sure where to. How I am glad we found you. What a lovely little place with very tasty food and outstanding cakes. It’s just so lovely and the staff are always so polite and attentive. There is a play park right outside and what seems a very popular skate park. Perfect little coffee shop and definitely my favourite. If you have not been, you are missing out

Having enjoyed visiting The Curiositea at Wild Raven we thought we would give their Pitstone branch a try. Oh how I wish we hadn't bothered. Place was dirty; I had to use my own anti bac wipes to clean the table. The cooked breakfasts were horrible; totally raw sausages of a sort of grey colour, no mushrooms at all, very rubbery and overcooked eggs, cheap toast spread with nasty margarine and fairly miserable coffee. When we mentioned that we were not happy with the food we were told, by disinterested staff, that they would 'pass it on'. What a shame! I won't be returning and wouldn't recommend to anyone

We visited Curiositea’s cafe at the London Gliding Club, unfortunately there’s no TA page for that. Unfortunate because it’s a little gem! The public can eat there between 10am and 2am and sit overlooking the activity on the airfield. We took advantage of their breakfast options, even the largest was under a tenner and included free coffee or tea re-fills. The staff were great; polite and prompt with the food and drinks. Definitely will go again!

Not an adult in sight. Place is run by teenagers. 1 hour an 20 minutes to be served raw food. Shocking standards. In our time we saw 3 groups just walk out. Visit on Sunday 2 Aug. The outside tables were well-spaced and I saw a note on a vacant one noting it had been sanitised. So far, so good. But not one of the servers I saw were wearing masks. While there was notionally a socially-distanced queue to enter the serving area, it was in a narrow passageway and none of the servers nor customers pushing past were wearing masks, and, once inside, there was no social distancing either. I left before purchasing anything. While I accept that there is some limit to what can be imposed on customers, the staff should take all precautions, and seek much harder to impose on customers who go inside that they must wear masks. A bit easier to do if the staff themselves are wearing masks. This is the way the virus is spread, including later to the vulnerable with possible lethal consequences. Surely given that, wearing a mask is a small price?

Dropped in for the first time on Friday. Loved it. The old school house building is full of character and patina. The staff were great. The keenly priced food was excellent. There were good outside tables to eat at and enjoy the sun and being by the park. However, remember this is a community hub with limited capacity so if you turn up with twenty mates on bikes or on a walk, you may have to wait a little while your orders are taken and your food prepared. It's very good at what it tries to be. If you're looking for a 3-course a-la-carte meal, go somewhere else. I'll definitely be back for another snack & coffee.

In the centre of the village, next to a park, this cafe seems to be in an old schoolhouse. Although quite basic it does the job and attracts walkers, cyclists and many children. It therefore can be quite noisy. The usual cafe type meals are served in large quantities. Coffee was good and copious, if a little bitter for my taste. The all day breakfast was excellent and the so called half breakfast was enough. Prices are very reasonable with the half breakfast at £4. There is a great selection of cakes and also outside seating. Staff appear genuinely friendly and helpful. Overall well worth visiting if you are in the village.

Me and my Husband came here a few months back and had an enjoyable time, however we came back over the weekend and can not believe how down-hill it has become. Not only did they have a very limited part of their menu available the customer service was appalling. Staff members did not seem to know what they were doing at all and everything took a long time to come out. They seemed to be too busy on their phones or messing around with each other than serving us, even though we had been waiting for over 15 minutes. Very disappointed at their lack of professionalism and will definitely not be returning. This is the village school now set up as an excellent daytime cafe/tearooms. Its light bright and clean, the staff are great, pleasant and helpful with a welcoming smile. Ours was a light lunch, a jacket potato, and piece of cake and coffee and it was all excellent. The choice of filling for the potato was wide and varied and well cooked and presented. The cake - all but too many types to choose from but lots of variety for lots of return trips. The coffee was good and it was all served in on or proper china. I will be going back and I suggest you give it a try too. If you have children with you there's a playground just alongside and a pleasant outside area where you can sit and enjoy the sunshine while you eat, drink, chat and keep an eye on the kids

Having stopped off for a play in the children's play area next door we were delighted to find we could get a cup of tea in this cafe. We could not have been more impressed by the extremely warm welcome, the utterly delicious cakes ( we had lime & zuccini and raspberry & brownie which were both incredible) and the extremely reasonable prices. We would highly recommend a visit and will definately visit again next time we are in the area. Just lovely.

Visited here for their pop up restaurant evening. Nice relaxed atmosphere, friendly and attentive waiting staff. Beautiful 3 course meal, with generous portions. Very reasonably priced too. They accommodated my dietary needs (I am vegan) without fuss. Very happy experience and can't wait to go back again.

During our 2.5 weeks near Ivinghoe, we stumbled upon CuriosiTEA Rooms. What started with a simple drop-in for tea and cake, ended with a return trip for a proper meal...and let me tell you, it ALL impressed. The chocolate cake was beautifully moist and delicious--not too rich. When we came back for breakfast, my wife had the Coronation Chicken sandwich, and I had the large breakfast. I can only speak for myself, but the breakfast was ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD! The sausage and bacon were out of this world. The eggs and beans were classic, and the coffee selections are plentiful.Thank you to the lovely ladies who served us and made us feel welcome during our visits. We will certainly return if we are back in the area!

We visited on a Sunday afternoon and the service was excellent, despite being only 30 mins before closing. The look is more of an old fashioned tea room, though in a building that looks more like a small church. The focus is more on coffee then tea with lots of options and syrups. And cakes! Black coffee was very well received, but my latte was only average, so I couldn't give the place five stars. Still a nice different place to stop. Just so much more character than a Starbucks. Large play corner in the tea room for very small (under fives mainly) children, if parents want somewhere to have a coffee.

Very friendly and relaxing atmosphere, toys for young children, so mum and dad can enjoy their coffee/tea. Small meals are available for children. In the warmer weather you can sit outside and watch the children play on the local swings. Lovely place.

I popped in first thing in the morning, ordered a bacon sandwich and cappuccino. Both were superb! The granary bread was really fresh, lots of bacon and plenty of sauce on the side for me to put on! The coffee also was great! The cakes on display all looked amazing feel like I must return to try a slice, although think it would take me a while to decide as all looked so tempting!

They do the best hot grilled wraps in town. Service is always excellent. Great selection, freshly made every time.
