The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Bewsey and Whitecross Warrington North West

Very slow service waited over an hour for food to come when arrived it was cold there was 5 of us and only 2 meals was reasonable was recommended to try but very disappointed won’t be visiting again wasn’t value for money didn’t want to complain at the time as we couldn’t wait anymore had other appointments to go to

The staff are well mannered and the place has a casual chilled out vibe to it, coffee is bussin too what with the large verity to choose from just as much as the sweet treats to choose from, strongly recommend guzzling coffee here 👁️‍🗨️👄👁️‍🗨️

Who is the chef in this joint? He,or she ( can you call a women chef? Or is it chefette?) Who knows. Anyhoo, only ordered a plate of chips but 👌 Crispy, sure,fluffy on the inside, you better believe they were, all washed down with a pint of the amber nectar. Get this person on master chef, tout suite.

The service in this place is terrible! The manager leaves one person with a queue of 6+ customers waiting for a drink whilst she merchandises (in a fashion) and sticks stickers on stuff. The staff are slow, unprofessional and all look unhygienic, dirty fingernails, long scraggy hair not even tied up or back and creating an overall scruffy, un-inviting look and atmosphere.

They seem to have moved this bar, since my last visit & I preferred it as it was. Big open barn like place with little atmosphere. Staff weren’t very helpful or friendly & the place could do with a clean.

We’ve used the Red Lion for years. It’s a proper pub with a good selection of beers in a building with real character. They have developed the outside area, and recently refurbished the inside, including the Gents facilities! All this has been done whilst retaining the cozy friendly atmosphere.

Dreadful - ordered a hot Macchiato and it came iced and no coffee taste at all - for £5.70!! Could not taste coffee...

Dinner service was terrible. We went down for 5pm and placed our order. we were a family of two and a family of four placed their order after. At 5.40pm someone came out of the kitchen and apologised to the family of four about the wait, but not to us. The family of four then got their meals. Someone came out from the kitchen 5 mins later and took my main to the family of four. They said that is not ours, they also said you gave us this extra meal too (my sons meal). The ,meals were taken back into the kitchen and ten minutes later at about 6 we got our food. The staff member assured me this was not the meal that had sat on the other peoples table or the one he brought out to them, he said they had been thrown away. I found that hard to believe that I had waited an hour for our food, yet they could dispose of the other meals and cook fresh ones in ten minutes. It felt like a scene from Fawlty Towers involving Basil and Manuel. The food was ok, but service poor and no apology for our wait or explanation as to how the family that ordered after us got their food first and an apology. The dinner was ok in terms of price for what it was. Breakfast was fast but bland food, we were not on a package so had to pay and order it from the hotel. We should have went to Asda or McD's around the corner for breakfast. Breakfast was not as nice as dinner and not as good value.
