I would not recommend here for some thing to eat save your money and go somewhere else I have the all day breakfast it cam out burnt to a crisp I ask the lady if I could have a nover one she toch it back to the kitchen and it came back the same all thay did was the bacon 🥓 and the rest of it had not been toch socking £11 45 it cost me neaver again

food was horrible. as advertised on tik tok as the best ever..thought wed give it a wirl..never again

Absolutely disgusting me & my partner ordered fish & chips I got 7 chips my partner got 5 chips the fish was obviously frozen peas like bullets demand a refund which we got, manager came to see us saying a full potato makes that many chips joke please don’t eat here Kahului the ghost hunter obviously got the best food because he’s a big influencer Please avoid at all costs 💯🤢

Visited the blue bell and had the all day breakfast which was excellent and made with quality ingredients. Staff were pleasant and welcoming.

After visiting for breakfast a few weeks ago we decided to have Sunday Lunch. It was very busy so booking advisable. The lunch menu is either chicken, beef or nut roast which comes with vegetables, potatoes, mash and gravy. Stuffing balls and pigs in blankets are extra as is cauliflower cheese. Everything was amazing and really flavoursome. Homemade and delicious. We felt welcomed by ALL the staff even though they were extremely busy. Nothing was any bother. I would highly recommend The Bluebell and we will definitely be back again. Many thanks

Fantastic Sunday Lunch……again! Brilliant staff……..all of them. So far, the best Sunday Lunch in Warrington, taking into account food quality, service (the staff truly are wonderful) cleanliness, and price. I’ll keep coming back and recommending this.

Had breakfast there. Not the best.

Went in before the rugby with a couple of friends, was quite busy but managed to get a table, I ordered the Joe burger, didn't take long to get served & the food arrived quite quickly, the waitresses were friendly & efficient. The food was lovely, well cooked & a good-sized portion. Everything was great until we went to leave & I put my cap on. After which a poor waitress had been sent over by the manager to tell me to remove my cap, she was extremely polite & I could tell she felt embarrassed having to ask me. I told her we were leaving anyway. However looking round the pub the manager had clearly forgotten to tell the 3 other people wearing caps to remove theirs. I would recommend the food but the attitude of the management leaves a lot to be desired. As a 56 year old I fail to see how me wearing or not wearing a cap makes much difference apart from having a cold head. Also if u enforce a rule like that, then it should be enforced to everyone & not just pick & choose who u allow to do so. Totally ruined what was a good experience up to that point.

First time going today and its a lovely pub

Just left after a delicious Sunday lunch. Staff were brilliant, attentive and very friendly and helpful. I asked for a couple more roasties as they were delicious and they arrived instantly. Really lovely Sunday roast, definitely recommend- 5 well deserved stars from me 🤗

Great breakfast, quality ingredients and friendy service.

We had an excellent value for money lunch. The food and the service was first class. Although we are regularly using the pub we were delighted the menu.

Been in this morning for breakfast at 10am 6 tables in No food coming out of the kitchen. The one's that did people complaining of missing iteams. Ended up finishing our coffees before food arrived. 45 min wait on food

Just been in for breakfast and it’s the best I’ve had in a long time. Food and service was absolutely amazing, had a good laugh with the girls behind the bar. Great value for money and the place looks amazing after being redecorated. Will definitely be coming back!🫶🏼

On a rare day with no kids me and my partner stumbled accidentally this little gem of a place. I must say we were not disappointed! The food was lovely and service was good. Such a lovely chilled little place and the portion sizes were just perfect. For the price of a 3 course meal also I honestly have to say we will return to the explore a bit more than the lunchtime menu.

Great Sunday Roast lunch today, you can tell they make a concerted effort in the kitchen, table service was very very attentive, we were table 12 this afternoon. Will recommend and be returning.

We booked at the blue bell for my mums 60th on Sunday 9th march . From the moment we sat down until leaving the service was out of this world . Shanice and Georgia could do enough for us, they both went above and beyond for all 10 of us . The Sunday roasts were absolutely gorgeous I even have to say my dad polished the whole plate and I have never seen him do that in years. From the fluffy roast potato’s to the mouth watering gravy I would highly recommend. My nana and grandad don’t usually go out and they absolutely had an amazing time . My grandads dessert apple crumble he said was the best he had tasted . All staff went above and beyond even the co owner and the person who ran the blue bell even greeted us . I would like to say our waiter shanice had nothing but smiles. Anything we wanted she delivered with really good service .. most places you don’t find that. So please say a thank you to shanice for making my mums birthday one to remember! And with out any doubt we will be returning and I will highly recommend to all my friends and family . Once again thank you for lovely service and thank you to your chef for those mouth watering Sunday roasts

Lovely staff, lovely food delivered quickly, and a pleasant background ambiance for the music. A little cold inside, but that could just be because of the cold day. I have visited the Bluebell many times over the years, and came back on a chance this morning to see it had been redecorated. The whole of the inside is a lot more modern, with bright colours that make the whole ambience feel a lot fresher, while retaining the character of the original building.

Great food, nice, clean, friendly place. My only problem was the 50-minute wait. I understand it's not fast food, and it was worth the wait for the taste, but I did feel it was far too long.

Good beers ,dropped in from matlock town fc , nice pub , did a bit of a pub crawl before the match with Warrington Ryland fc ,we also went in this pub after the match.

Wow! We had the most amazing Valentines meal. I can honestly say it was the best meal we've had out in a very long time. Fresh delicious food, lovely presentation, along with good service with a smile. We had a Mediterranean shared board starter then pan fried seabass with so much veg. The sharing double chocolate fondue board was to die for. The decorated table along with the singer just topped off the evening. We didn't take photos but it was exactly as they put on social media so I've added these below. Thank you to to all. We will certainly be back again

I’m sure it’s a great pub, but I could not find an accessible entrance so I did not go in.

We both had the lunch menu. 3 courses for £12.95. The food was delicious, and the service was fantastic. The young lady that served us was very pleasant and polite. I've knocked 1 star off for the chunky chips. That may seem a little harsh, but in my opinion they are too chunky and they were too overcooked. It's spotlessly clean, and has a nice atmosphere. All in all, a great place to eat. We will definitely eat here again.

Had the make your own breakfast, it was nice only thing I would criticize with is when asking for mushrooms you get half a mushroom. But all in all it was nice

My friend and I had a delicious breakfast each here, I had a veggie one and my friend enjoyed some black pudding with hers, you choose the items, sorry I can't remember if it was 6 or 8 items but everything was really tasty and hot and we didn't wait long either the coffee was good, the staff really care about getting it right and give friendly, welcoming service. There's a nice relaxed atmosphere in the bluebell and it's warm and clean too.

We popped in today for some food after shopping in the town and it was the best Sunday lunch we have eaten out. Was a great portion, hot and very tasty☺️ Pub is bright, clean and spacious, hate places where you're squeezed in to ram as many tables as possible. Service was great, quick and very friendly. Can understand now why they have won awards for their Menus. We will definitely be back to sample more dishes next time we visit Warrington Town Centre.

Ordered a simple breakfast and had to wait over an hour and only when I asked where it was they sorted it. The staff are young and seem to have no clue what they are doing! They boast getting best pub but I can't see why ??

Went for breakfast first time since being refitted breakfast was lovely had a wait for it but we'll worth the wait. Georgia and Elisha could not have done anymore make us welcome on a cold snowy morning sitting us in a warm place two amazing members of staff definitely visit again.

This place is unique. Waitresses in hand, very professional. The food is freshly served with beverage of your choice. The ambience is generally good. Couldnt ask for more!

We had the three course Christmas dinner, it was a fabulous meal and Great value . The Blue Bell is still a quaint Pub in the heart of Warrington but has improved immensely over the years to the superb venue is today . Thank you Cecilia for taking care of us you’re a credit to the pub. . Thoroughly recommend.

Terrible service.....ordered 2 lattes at 10.50 am & 11.25 am still no lattes, after asking staff that was all congregated around the end of the bar the lattes finally arrived after 35mins, dark haired lady serving food needs to learn how to speak to paying customers instead of rolling her eyes when asking for something I had paid for

I tried the Sunday roast after seeing it had won Warrington Guardian’s best Roast 2024 and it didn’t disappoint. Everything on the dinner was lovely. The beef was tender and juicy, the veg was perfect and the mash was creamy and tasty. The extras were also very nice (pigs in blankets, stuffing balls, cauli cheese). Will definitely be back in the future

Second visit for food. First was Sunday dinner which was traditional no frills, like your mother makes and it was delicious. Yesterday was Xmas menu. Baked Camembert and beef Wellington. Both were spot on. The steak was perfect. The table was dressed lovely. Staff were lovely and attentive. No complaints from us whatsoever and we will most certainly be back

Food was nice and home cooked chips but the service was absolutely shocking, we went in on Monday lunch time and it was quiet and it took an hour for our meals to come 2x meals and a kids meal. You get a dessert with a kids meal which we asked for After we finished eating which is just 2 scoops of ice cream, another 15 mins passed and it didn’t come so we actually just walked out, if the service is like this when it’s quiet I dread to think what it’s like when busy

Decent pub. Decent drinks. Food is the typical pub food. We were celebrating a birthday to a mate here, with a private room booked for us. Staff were attentive, the drinks are reasonably priced and the atmosphere is OK. Kids using the casino machines was quite a sightseeing, but I guess that's to be expected in the uk? :)

Haven't been in here for a good number of years. Staff were polite and efficient, we visited to watch the Live Band 'Brown Sauce' as they're friends of ours, Great Band and a good few hours in there.

Generally call in here when I visit Warrington. Nice cosy pub friendly bar staff.

Over cooked fish that was a small portion that also took 30 minutes to cook

Stopped for lunch after a meeting in town centre & although been recently refurbished and was busy same as before an ok place but better places nearby.

So, to start. I have been using this pub on and off for over ten years, and so far, I've had no real complaints. This time, I wouldn't say I had complaints as such, but with some of the service we had, it was lacking. My partner ordered a pot of tea, and when it arrived, the person serving it knocked the milk pot over but didn't really say sorry and didn't return with another pot of milk so my friend went up and asked for another pot. When our food turned up, they forgot to bring us cutlery. There was none on the table, so once again, one of us went up to the bar to ask for some. I had an all-day breakfast, which came on a really hot plate, but the food was not as hot as I would have expected. So to finish, I still find the pub a nice place to go, and the drinks we had were nice, my Ale was pored perfectly and tasted fresh. So, all in all, apart from the few mistakes with the service and the not so piping hot all-day breakfast, I would still recommend this pub.

Popped in for breakfast. Pleasant staff served me. Ordered a 'pick your own' breakfast. The quality of the sausages were exceptional and the scrambled eggs were perfect. Only critique is that my partners poached egg was undercooked. Overall, great service and quality ingredients.

Very slow service waited over an hour for food to come when arrived it was cold there was 5 of us and only 2 meals was reasonable was recommended to try but very disappointed won’t be visiting again wasn’t value for money didn’t want to complain at the time as we couldn’t wait anymore had other appointments to go to

I had the 10 Oz Gammon steak very good and would recommend it to others will be coming back with some friends well done 👏👏

Went in for breakfast before an appointment. I waited 35 minutes for a sausage and egg barm. I ended up leaving before it arrived, if it ever did! So poor.

The meals was absolutely disgusting. Cold and dried up chips, burnt edge fish, shrivelled peas, microwave jacket potato with a slop of beans and swimming in grease. Won't go again

The day we visited there was a event in the town center, my wife and I ordered steak and chips, the steak was inedible all gristle, we were not asked during the meal if it was ok, we left ,as the bar staff seemed engrossed with something else.it was a good experience,

Only popped in to meet a friend, but the place is well located and the staff are amazing. I didn't try the food I only had a pint of beer. Reasonably priced and I would visit again.

I have been to this pub before and had a lovely experience with the service and food. However on this occasion it was unfortunately not the case with one particular member of staff. Lisa!!!! She was rude and impolite after my request to change bacon for a veg sausage. I will not visit this place again as it is in my view discriminating towards vegans and veggies. Having said this, the young man and lady who served the food are absolutely lovely and a credit to the place. I have found out that Lisa is indeed the manager who in my view could do with customer service training from the others.
