Great place , good food but disappointed that the breakfast baps have been removed from the menu . Some times cakes aren't replenished in the afternoon. The service can be hit and miss . Eg we arrived at 11.55 and were mulling the waitress refused to take a breakfast order with the excuse this menu is now finished . It's the lunch menu now. 12.05 . Why give out the breakfast one . Still a great place and I'll always use it .

After 14 weeks of the pubs,bars and restaurants being closed in Liverpool, in other parts of England even longer it was great come the 12th of April to get out and about in our lovely city and visit some of the great pubs and bars our city possesses and a walk down Castle Street was at the top of our list, great architecture and lots of bars and restaurants, Rox is a bar I was particularly looking forward to visiting, on a glorious sunny Spring Monday afternoon my twin brother Stephen and I sat at a table outside this bar,a very pleasant member of the staff took our details of name and phone number to assist with the governments track and trace system and then we ordered two beers ,these were payed for contactless and were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just kicked back, chilled out and took in the great bar we were in and the great location. We both really enjoyed our beers here,super cold,sparkling and very tasty, it was just so good being out and about again dropping into a bar or pub and socialising again albeit socially distanced, just a semblance of normality in what has been a very abnormal year or so but the magnificent vaccines are producing amazing results, in my opinion we are seeing the beginning of the end of this pandemic. We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Rox is easy to locate along Castle Street, one of the most beautiful streets in Liverpool packed with bars and restaurants and at the moment pedestrianised. Most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

By far the best bar I've ever been to. Great atmosphere, hidden way, with a unique entrance. The drinks menu is constantly developing with homemade ingredients. They have amazingly unique flavours. I would recommend to come anytime, it's well worth it. And with it being undergroundish it has a evening atmosphere at any time of day

Visité este lugar durante mi descanso de 30 minutos para comer. Mi novio había pedido nuestra comida 20 minutos antes para asegurarse de que no nos apresuraran. Cuando llegué, me senté allí durante 25 minutos sin comida. Finalmente, tuve que irme, así que mi novio le preguntó al empleado de la mesa qué estaba pasando. ¡Admitió que ni siquiera había hecho mi pedido! Ella sólo procesó su pedido de comida. Si bien puedo entender cierta confusión ya que una persona estaba pidiendo dos, no puedo entender por qué me dejó sentarme allí durante 25 minutos mirando a mi alrededor sin venir a tomar mi orden? El lugar no estaba ocupado - ella estaba detrás de la caja sin hacer nada todo el tiempo. Lo que es peor, ni siquiera se disculpó por el error. Cuando salí después de desperdiciar toda mi pausa para comer y no tener nada que comer, ella simplemente bajó la cabeza y me ignoró. Absolutamente decepcionante.

Pasamos unas horas encantadoras aquí hoy. Están abiertos los sábados, así que no tome nota de las horas que figuran en - línea. Hermoso acogedor, cálido edificio. Un montón de cosas para mirar - decorado encantador con algunos muebles antiguos hermosos allí. Ambos tuvimos un desayuno cocinado que era muy bueno. Nos hicieron sentir muy bienvenidos y sin duda volveremos. Una ventaja adicional fue visitar la tienda de antigüedades de al lado y charlar con el chico encantador de allí.

Called in while my son was in The Royal hospital. Asked for the small breakfast but no mushrooms or tomatoes. The owner was very pleasant but after he served my coffee (I did ask for a latte but an ordinary coffee came) he carried on chatting with a bloke sat at a table. Then he went off to the kitchen. A few minutes later my breakfast came. It looked as though most of it had been deep fried. It came with mushrooms which I didn’t want, no baked beans. The egg made me heave, dirty brown white and a broken yolk undercooked centre floating in the white albumen. Bacon was a crisp and the sausage cut in half and deep fried. The toast came just buttered in the middle. Would never eat there again. I took pictures but can’t post them on here. Apart from the bloke sat at a table I was the only customer.

We love our Costa Coffee and have visited here a few times when we come to Liverpool for a match. The outside is great, very funky and arty. It is big with two floors. The staff are lovely and coffee great as usual!

Absolutamente me encanta esta hermosa tienda que ha sido una estancia principal de la comunidad durante los últimos 10 años. Desde suplementos hasta pasteles, pasando por todas tus alternativas vegetales, todo está en esta tienda.

We stayed at May Duncan's for two nights as we were meeting up with life long friends who recommended this Pub to us, and I have to say that none of us were disappointed, five of us stayed in three rooms above the Pub. The accommodation was excellent, clean and tidy, the room I was in had a single and a double bed, a fridge and a microwave, Tea and coffee making facilities , all the staff were first class, and the entertainment on both nights was brilliant . We had been advised beforehand that the pub no longer did breakfast or meals, we just jumped into a local taxi which the bar staff ordered for us and went into town . The weekend we had in Liverpool will stay long in our memories and May Duncan's played a big part in that, when we return to Liverpool there is only one place we will be staying .

Mi hermano gemelo y yo estábamos en un pub dando vueltas por esta parte de la ciudad cuando decidimos pasar por McGreavey's Sports & Music Bar, hemos estado aquí antes, siempre lo pasamos bien, pero la última visita fue un poco limítrofe ok. El bar está bien, un bar de servicio de aspecto fresco domina la sala principal, decoración y mobiliario del pub, pantallas grandes para disfrutar del deporte y un montón de opciones de asientos repartidos por todo este bar tanto dentro como fuera con vistas a la concurrida y bulliciosa Williamson Square. Pedimos cervezas, servimos en excelentes condiciones siendo heladas frías y espumosas, nos relajamos y planeamos la noche siguiente mientras bebíamos nuestras cervezas. El personal aquí es muy bueno, pero creo que un poco de sentido común sería bueno, un grupo de muchachos obviamente lo peor para el desgaste creando un poco de molestia de sí mismos, sé que es algo difícil de hacer, pero creo que el personal debería haber rechazado el servicio, dar al barman su merecido, tuvo la paciencia de un santo, pero el ambiente en el bar en nuestra visita no era brillante, nos emborrachamos y nos fuimos después de una pinta, no me detendrá ir aquí de nuevo, sigue siendo un gran bar, pero la última visita no fue tan memorable.
