My twin brother and I were pub hopping around this part of the city when we decided to drop into McGreavey's Sports & Music Bar,been here before, always had a good time but latest visit was sorta borderline ok. The bar is ok, a cool looking serving bar dominates the main room, pubby decor and furnishings, big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Williamson Square. We ordered beers, served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling, we chilled out and planned out the night ahead while sipping our beers. Staff in here are really good but think a bit of common sense would be good,a group of lads obviously the worst for wear creating a bit of nuisance of themselves, I know it's a hard thing to do but I think the staff should have refused service, give the barman his due,he had the patience of a saint but atmosphere in the bar on our visit wasn't brilliant, we drunk up and left after a pint, won't stop me going here again ,its still a great bar but latest visit wasn't that memorable.

McGreaveys on Williamson Square is a bar me and my twin brother visited on a bit of a pub crawl around the city centre and it's in a square where there are a few other lively bars. This Irish bar has a decent interior with lots of interesting feature's and brilliant seating option's both inside and outside and it was fairly busy when we visited here early in the evening. I must admit it's a bar we don't normally go to as they don't serve cask ale's but on our way to the Carnarvon Castle we went here for a few beers. When we visited here we had a few glasses of Guinness which where brilliant and were well priced.A decent enough Irish bar that could be better buts its a lively enough bar especially when the live music is on and it's easy to locate as its only a five minute walk away from Queen Square bus stops.(This is my second review of McGreavey's). Opening Hours. Monday-Sunday-Don't Know. Public Transport. Bus Stop. Queen Square Bus Stops.

Dropped into McGreavey's as my twin brother Stephen and I were heading to The Fall Well Pub ,been here before ,always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit. A nice looking sports bar ,a lovely interior ,cool looking serving bar ,pubby decor and furnishings and lots of seating plus big screens to enjoy the sport ,a good bar to chill out in. We ordered beers,we sat inside as it was freezing cold outside with temperatures dropping into minus ,we chilled out and warmed up while sipping our cold beers . I must say beers I here are served in perfect condition ,nothing better than an iced cold lager to quench a thirst ,hardly surprising this bar is so popular with beers of this quality . We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and as on every previous visit to here we had a great time. McGreavey's Sports & Music Bar is easy to locate on Williamson Square and is well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Afternoon visit, lovely friendly atmosphere and afternoon live music which I don't easily find at home. Excellent bar staff especially the glamorous and amazing Natalie. The bar was clean, well spaced for a small venue and the company was fantastic. We'll be returning with friends soon. Thanks also to Alan our tour guide and ambassador for Liverpool.

Walking through Williamson Square my twin brother Stephen and I noticed that the former McSweeneys Bar is now called Mcgreavey's Sports & Music Bar and so we drifted in and we had a really good time. It's a great bar ,nice decor and furnishings ,tv's to enjoy the sport and lots of seating both inside and outside looking out onto the busy Williamson Square with great views of The Playhouse Theatre and St Johns Beacon. We were here on a rather rainy Tuesday night ,we sat outside under one of the big umbrella's were we got a cider each ,these were served iced cold and sparkling ,we settled down and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular bar . Cider here was good ,it was great enjoying the karaoki and just chilling out in this very popular bar. We really enjoyed our ciders in here before we moved on and for a first time visit to McGreavey's Sports & Music Bar we had a great time,it's easy to locate on Williamson Square and well worth checking out if you're in the area.

We visited as a group of 3 on a busy lunchtime, we were lucky to get a table as it was so busy. It had a great buzz and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was exceptional- very tasty and lovely sized portions. I’d definitely love to come back next time I’m in Liverpool.

The one thing about Liverpool City Centre is there are many interesting old pub's and the Cornmarket is one of the oldest and it's one of the best.Located on Old Ropery'the Cornmarket has a fantastic interior with an old world look and feel. The pub dates from the 18th century and is full of character. The interior to this historic pub has many interesting fixture's and lot's of original feature's.There's wood panelling that was taken from a clipper ship that was called the Reina Del Pacifico and excellent seating options. If you enter from Moor street this pub looks completely different as up to the 1960s this was the Bulls Head pub. This pub was taken over by the Cornmarket and has thrived as a pub since then.We have been visiting this pub for many years and it's just as good as it's ever been. We went to here early in the afternoon and it was very busy which is how we like places as the atmosphere is better when pubs are busy. When we visited we had a few glasses of Carling brewery lagers which where first rate and were reasonably priced. Its an excellent old world pub in a fantastic area of the city centre and it's a pub that's well worth going to.(This is my fourth review of the Cornmarket). Opening Hours. Monday-Sunday-11.30-23.00. Public Transport. Bus Stop. James Street Train Station Bus Stop-10A-10Q-18-26-N1. Train Station. James Street Train Station.

Nice cup of coffee thanks! Greeted by Holly who was chatty and took my order with advice when asked for (type of milk used, how many shots). Not a regular at Starbucks but would return. Holly wished me a happy holiday too! This after the the smoothest transit trough the airport ever. Lots to like today at Liverpool JL airport.

Lovely surroundings, comfy sofas, very tasty local gins, and a tasting plate of 3 small beers. Perfect, couldn't wish for better.
