Fabulous veggie and vegan cafe in the centre of Lancaster. Excellent choice of food and drinks, fab range of salads, a warm friendly welcome and good playlist!

El mejor lugar en Lancaster! He visitado varias veces con diferentes amigos cada vez que adoro este lugar. El personal es siempre muy amable y servicial. Grandes vibraciones, precios increíbles, sigue así : )

Had a fantastic lunch here. The menu is interesting but not too big to be overwhelming. Really great choice of vegetarian options, each of us had a different veggie dish and every meal was tasty, well balanced, full of flavour and obviously not out of a packet. Portions were a good size, big enough to be generous and value for money but not so big as to be heavy. The service was friendly but not in your face and we felt like valued customers. There is a lot of choice in Lancaster for lunch but this is certainly one of the best we have tried. The Assembly Rooms suffers a bit from being just out of the passing trade of the town centre but this cafe is a hidden gem so don't miss out!

We popped in just for a hot drink and a special mince-pie (warm with cream) but decided on soup and a sandwich also. We had pea and ham soup, which was delicious plus a ham and cheese sandwich. The Ham was excellent! Earl grey tea and coffee also to be recommended. Very pleased - we will return!

I've eaten at The Herbarium lots of times now and every meal I've had has been delicious. I love their matcha tea too. I'm not fully vegan, but try to eat a plant-based diet 4-5 days a week, and you certainly don't feel you're sacrificing anything in terms of taste, variety or quality at The Herb. A calming atmosphere and lovely staff too. Well done to the whole team (including the Chefs who probably don't get a shout out often enough) 👏

Called in for a quick lunch whilst visiting Lancaster. Really lovely menu, would like to try the specials next time, they looked great. I can’t have gluten or lactose and there was lots to choose from happily. I had the nourish salad, which was packed with flavour and great textures. My partner loved the V BLT , smoked tofu was amazing. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Will visit again.

Llamé a Holm en King Street, Lancaster para un almuerzo rápido hoy. Recomiendo encarecidamente su Ciabatta Rubén. El servicio fue excelente.

We stayed in the Landmark Trust rooms above the café. A wonderful experience. The café below is in the same building, rented out by Landmark Trust to the independent business who run it. They make really great coffee, strong but not bitter, and the Parkin was delicious too. Service is friendly and welcoming, and there is plenty of seating. If it looks full from the outside, do go in and ask as they have a mezzanine gallery up a flight of stairs with more tables.
