Holm Coffee in Lancaster

Llamé a Holm en King Street, Lancaster para un almuerzo rápido hoy. Recomiendo encarecidamente su Ciabatta Rubén. El servicio fue excelente.

¡Simplemente encantador! Un lugar tan peculiar y amable! El personal era muy acogedor. Pasteles parecía increíble y el café estaba en su punto! El Sándwich Club que me dieron fue 10 / 10. Fue poco tiempo hoy, pero no puedo esperar para volver.

This is a local haunt for me when i can get down, and has the strongest dark chocolate in Lancaster at 81 % which is very well made and presented, not forgetting the ginger thin (Scandinavian that goes with it). The cakes are amazing, with a wonderful selection of vegan/gluten free cakes (to die for!!) plus nice vegan savouries such as the sausage roll. The food does look amazing and LOTS of it for the price and again artistically done and very reasonable. The decor is great, Nordic tables, comfy sofa and little touches such as the Japanese picture of Godzilla on the wall. Aside from the Chocolate, the other pleasure of this place is the Scandinavian products that it sells ranging from Moomin troll biscuits, the chocolate bar brands and of course the crisp breads. It is a little small (but does take away if full) but room out in the back yard. The staff/service are very friendly and helpful. One only hopes they move to a bigger premises at some point more might enjoy the delights of this cafe.

Got told off by grumpy man for putting cup on a large chest in the middle of the little cafe. Apparently it is an antique, 300 years old. Either put some mats on it or get rid of it. Why is this large clearly useless piece of furniture in the middle of the room? Also it felt really uncomfortable being told off. By the way the cakes are better at Tuck opposite the railway station

Visited Holm with a friend who had recommended the cafe. It was a really nice experience. The hot chocolate was one of the nicest I've had in a long time (so good, I had a second one!) The choice of food was good, the menu seems to have something for everyone, alongside fresh bakes in the window. The cafe is also stocked with some great sweets and treats to take away and other items that are ideal as gifts. I will be returning and would wholeheartedly recommend it.

Favourite coffee shop in town of the many to choose from. Relaxed and a bit different. Big cups for cappuccino and always a ginger biscuit given, if you can resist the cakes.

We love Holm. Delicious coffee & chai, cakes are a dream and it’s such a friendly, nice atmosphere. Also great place to pick up Scandinavian treats. The veggie sausage rolls are also a favourite! Tiny yard out back is worth checking out as perfect when the sun is shining.

Really cute coffee shop, full of local handmade art. Lovely presentation of tea and coffee on wooden boards and a free biscuit! Perfect little pit stop

t would be easy to walk past this unpretentious place and that would be a mistake ! A comfortable ,quirky interior ,great coffee and delicious confectionery .Highly recommended .

Stopped for lunch. Generous serving of excellent, fresh food and one of the best pots of tea in town. Really enjoyed. The cafe is on a main road, so not quiet, but this did not detract from a very pleasant lunch. Thank you!

I popped in today for the first time after hearing good reviews. I got the vegetable soup and I know that it was a cup a soup with some butter in it. Far from homemade and I could tell that they were freeze dried vegetables. The service was very good and presentation good.

Had a lovely catch up with my friend this morning in this delightful little cafe. The cakes were scrummy, the pots of tea ample, prices reasonable and there was no pressure from staff to move us on. What a nice place to visit.

Stopped for a break on a cycling trip from Salford to Windermere on a scorching day and received a very warm welcome. Lovely coffee stop and the kind lady filled my water bottle and even added ice cubes! It was service with a smile!

Great to see a place like this busy, sat down watched many people pop in for takeaway coffees or sit down for lunch. Service excellent friendly and food fantastic, will definitely be back 👍🏻

Visited with a friend for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We both had the flatbread wraps which were freshly made for us and delicious. They had a fantastic selection of iced teas and coffee and it was all great value for money! Will definitely return for some of the tasty looking cakes in the window!

What a fantastic find in the centre of Lancaster. Excellent coffee and cake. I opted for the flapjack and my husband the lemon drizzle cake. Both were exceptional. Very reasonably priced too. Would highly recommend

Enjoyed a delicious coffee and we also tried one of the fresh sandwiches and flatbreads. It was so fresh and tasty I would definitely recommend. It was also good value for money.

I have been in to get lunch around 12ish 3 times now. Unfortunately each time I have been told that they only have buns. I start my lunch at 12 most days, so would really like to support them, but they make it difficult.
