First time visit to The Premier Pub for ages and I must say it was as good as always. A nice pub ,interior is cool ,an island style serving bar ,pubby decor and furnishings ,big screens to enjoy the sport and lots of seating options,it's an ok pub to chill out in. I joined about 20 family and friends in here on a Monday afternoon ,pub was rammed ,I stayed on pints of Carling lager and pints of guinness all afternoon ,service was quick ,price was really good ,atmosphere was superb ,had a great time in here before our group moved on to The Market Tavern Pub a minute or so walk away. The Premier Pub is easy to locate in Kirkby Town Centre . Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday,9am till 11pm. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

A day off work and my twin brother and I were meeting up with friends in The Premier Pub in Kirkby Town Centre, this was our first visit of 2024 ,we went on the 22rd of January and I must say we had a great time. It's a proper little locals pub ,interior is nice ,an island style serving bar, pubby decor and furnishings, pool table and big screens to enjoy the sport plus plenty of seating options, it's a good pub to unwind in. We stayed on pints of Carling lager and pints of guinness, it was good having a catch up with friends over a good few pints ,loved my visit here ,its got to be the friendliest pub in Kirkby. We stayed here for a good few hours before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. The Premier Pub is easy to locate on Market Square in Kirkby Town Centre. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from 11am. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Overnight airport stay with parking included, staff were really amazing from Stacey in the bar area to Kevin who was decorating at the time. So helpful in letting us know the easiest ways to get in to liverpool and to the airport the next day. Breakfast was good, lots of choices. only had a sandwich for lunch this was good but expensive for a club sandwich. Parking was easy lots of space.

My twin brother and I were meeting family and friends in The Market Tavern for a get together, its a pub I always enjoy visiting, been here before on many occasions over the years, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit. A great looking pub, interior is superb, light and airy, an island style serving bar dominates the main room, pubby decor and furnishings, big screens to enjoy the sport and there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Kirkby Town Centre, its just a really good pub to unwind in. I stayed on beers from Carling Brewery plus guinness, had a couple of whiskies also ,had a great time here, staff kept the beers flowing ,had a great night out in here ,couldn't fault anything to our visit here. The Market Tavern we easy to locate in Kirkby Town Centre. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, 9am till 11pm. Well worth checking out if you're in Kirkby Town Centre.

We booked a table for a Sunday roast at 5pm but were not told beforehand that they had ran out of half the food! We ordered the “Three Meat Roast Dinner” and only had 2 meats available, beef and turkey! Half the beef that was served was a challenge in itself due to the amount of fat it contained. We were then told they had no broccoli, no stuffing balls, no more roast potatoes (but then offered us extra potatoes after telling us they had no yorkshire puddings), and we only found out that they had ran out of yorkshire puddings when I asked where they were as they didnt come out with the dinners! We then ordered cauliflower cheese which came with a hair found by my daughter who then couldn’t continue eating her food and a member of staff asked us for the hair which we did not have as we didn't want to keep a rouge hair on the table full of food while we were eating! When we challenged the staff on the poor quality of food and lack of food we didn't get as much as an apology or a dessert for the children just told “they would speak to the kitchen staff” which didn't resolve the poor quality and lack of food/service we had received! Needless to say we will not be returning again!!

Visited this store today with my sister. We waited patiently to be served, after a 10 min wait we started to placed our order with the female member of staff i handed her the toasted sandwich to heat up,she just took it off me without saying a word. I then asked for 2 coffees one skinny latte and 1 soya then a male member of staff started to make the coffees in large glasses until I stopped him and said, I'd like small ones not large thankyou, we were not asked what size we'd like and it had already been put through the till as large, that was the first mistake. The toastie arrived and the female just literally threw it on the tray without saying a word.My sister said that's rude what you've just done, and you've never even said please or thankyou right through that transaction. My sister said we would like a refund as we don't feel you deserve our custom, your very rude to which the male then said to my sister stop shouting. My sister is partially deaf and does speak loudly but wasn't shouting,I was shocked by his comment, he should have just tried to defuse the situation at that point not defended the female member of staff. She shouted over the male member of staff, I said sorry didn't I but it wasn't sincere,he then proceeded to do the refund.I worked in retail for 19 years for a reputable company and customer service was at the the for front, also my sister works in whiston hospital in the restaurant and the same applies there, looks like costa don't seem to think so, the staff definitely need afew lessons in customer service. We will definitely not be visiting that branch again!

My twin brother and I were having a meet up with friends in Kirkby Town Centre, we drifted from The Market Tavern to The Brambles Pub were we continued our day out socialising. A good pub, interior is nice ,a solid wood serving bar dominates the main room, pubby decor and furnishings, pool table, big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, its just a proper little locals pub. We enjoyed pints of guinness in here and lagers plus some vodka and cokes ,atmosphere was good ,staff on top form and all in all a really good visit, spent a good few hours here . We really enjoyed our visit here before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. The Brambles Pub is easy to locate along Cherryfield Drive in Kirkby Town Centre. Went to park up, man from upstairs balcony shouted you can't park there very arrogantly, they have an issue with people parking there and going the hospital but we had come from the hospital for a few drinks on way back, was meeting someone in there who had just ordered we cancelled the order and went a better pub down the road (The Rocket) will never go back in again....

Took two friends here today and will not be returning. Ordered and paid for ham&pickle sandwich and crab and prawn sandwich. No butter on either and the crab & prawn was little more than sandwich spread . No crab and no prawn . Both cost £6:95 each . What a total rip off , another case of charge as much as you can and give as little as possible !!!

It was negative and the scran was more moldy than ye nans toes. When I received my 2 sausage roll for 1 deal i noticed that one of them was stale as frozen bread and the other was as mushy as playdough. Overall my experience was pony and I'm deeply disappointed
