A day off work and my twin brother and I were meeting up with friends in The Premier Pub in Kirkby Town Centre, this was our first visit of 2024 ,we went on the 22rd of January and I must say we had a great time. It's a proper little locals pub ,interior is nice ,an island style serving bar, pubby decor and furnishings, pool table and big screens to enjoy the sport plus plenty of seating options, it's a good pub to unwind in. We stayed on pints of Carling lager and pints of guinness, it was good having a catch up with friends over a good few pints ,loved my visit here ,its got to be the friendliest pub in Kirkby. We stayed here for a good few hours before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. The Premier Pub is easy to locate on Market Square in Kirkby Town Centre. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from 11am. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

After having just had a great eight days holiday in Prague we arrived back in the United Kingdom,my friend picked my brother and I up at Manchester Airport ,after dropping our bags off in our home we headed to The Premier Pub to meet up with friends and what a great time we had. This pub looks good ,think it's had a bit of a makeover ,an island style serving bar dominates the main room, pubby decor and furnishings,tv's and big screens to enjoy the sport ,a pool table and plenty of seating options,it's a good old fashioned pub. Our group took up about 3 tables,I enjoyed pints of carling and guinness ,pub was packed and this on a Tuesday early evening ,staff here are really nice ,make you feel so welcomed in their pub ,it's just a nice pub to chill out in . We stayed here for about 4 hours before we moved on to The Mainbrace Pub and as on previous visits to The Premier Pub we had a good time,it's easy to locate in Kirkby Town Centre ,it's well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Before the 3rd national lockdown descended my twin brother Stephen and I decided to jump the train down from Kirkby to Liverpool City Centre and on our way to the station we passed the town centre and dropped into The Premier Pub ,a pub that we occasionally drop into . A nice little pub,a light and airy interior, cosy look to it,nice decor and furnishings and despite its relatively small size there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, a really good pub indeed. We were here on a Thursday afternoon, we gave our details of name and phone number to assist with the governments track and trace system and then sanitised our hands, we were allocated a table were we as part of the governments guildlines ordered a substantial meal each, we chose bacon toasties and for our drinks we opted to have a guinness each, guinness was poured in the correct manner even allowing time for the all important settle, we just kicked back, chilled out and took in the nice pub we were in. My guinness was really good, a rich, thick and most importantly iced cold guinness bursting with taste, very easy to drink, while sipping our pints of guinness our toasties arrived, superb, thick cut toast, lean bacon and smothered in sauce, totally delicious, went with our guinness so well. We really enjoyed our toasties in here and our guinness, loved the atmosphere so much so that we ended up staying for another guinness each before moving on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. The Premier Pub is easy to locate on Market Square. A lovely pub, when the 3rd and final lockdown is lifted most definitely well worth checking out.

The Premier pub in Kirkby town centre is a decent local pub that offer's a commercial range of ales and spirits and since the new lockdown requirements a very good range of substantial meals. Housed in a former bank and facing Kirkby Market'the Premier is one of three pubs in Kirkby town centre and is a real locals pub with a local clientele. The Premier has an open-plan Interior with plenty of good seating options throughout the whole interior'a pool table and I think it may host Karaoke nights. When we went in here early in the afternoon the Premier had just opened'we all gave our track and trace details and took a seat.A staff member on duty took our order of a meal and a couple of pint's of Guinness which were excellent and very well priced. The Premier is a proper little local pub that offer a decent food and drinks range that's well priced and is very easy to locate from Kirkby bus station it's a few minute's walk.(This is my first review of the Premier). Opening Hours. Monday-Sunday-11.00-22.00. Hours May Differ From Above. Nearest Train Station. Kirkby train station. Nearest Bus Stop. Kirkby bus station.

Located facing Kirkby Market is The Premier Pub ,its a pub I frequent every now and again but seeing it open on the 4th of July with coronavirus lockdown restrictions lifted my twin brother Stephen and I simply had to drop into. The pub itself is cool, a single L shaped room, nice decor and furnishings, spacing and virus guards in place, we signed in ,ordered a beer each and just kicked back and took in the very pleasant pub we were in . My beer was really good, a light, hoppy and unpretentious lager style beer bursting with taste, very easy to drink and a beer style I really enjoy and after 99 days without a beer it was simply delicious. We moved on after our beers and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Easy to locate along Market Square in Kirkby Town Centre. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, 10am till 11pm. Well worth a visit.

I'm not comming to Costa often, maybe twice a year, but I'm not happy about my recent visit. Coffee and food as you would expect from Costa, but staff completely incompetent to work under pressure, remember orders or multitask, which is quite sad for such a nice place. 4 girls stressing around, spilling coffeys on the desk, customers waiting ages for their coffee as 4 girls cannot manage even 2 customers at the same time and can't remember an order for more than 10 seconds. I have been asked 3 times what I ordered even 10 minutes after I paid and that was just a croissant, lemon cake and late, three customers came after me been served before me, nothing for my level of patience. No smile, no politeness, no sorry, just stressed faces. Cannot recommend, otherwise the place is nice and clean.

They should be ashamed, complete rip off...ordered a whisky soda, a gin and tonic and packet of crisps and they took £19 from me. Dont know where they think they are to be charging these prices. Loud, unfriendly, grubby venue, avoid, so many better places to go
