They should be ashamed, complete rip off...ordered a whisky soda, a gin and tonic and packet of crisps and they took £19 from me. Dont know where they think they are to be charging these prices. Loud, unfriendly, grubby venue, avoid, so many better places to go

It was a nice pub. The experience was ruined by the loud football fans. I understand that the game is fun but the unnecessarily loud chanting and profanity was wholly unacceptable. It unlikely that I'll go again during the football season.

Nice Venue Don't think the dartboard is in the right place With heating tables and chairs surrounding the oche, not the best space could do with a clear darts space with nothing in the way Friendly staff 👍

We had a lovely evening in lord strange yesterday evening live music was brilliant and the atmosphere and staff was amazing I would really recommend it for a evening out it's a ten out of ten from me.

Great choice of beers and friendly barstaff

This used to be one of our favourite places in Prescot but we called in last night and were disappointed. We always order the Krombacher lager which is normally a quality lager, but our drinks were flat, no head and tasted watery. It was not the same lager we normally have and we didn't stay for another. This pub is normally full but last night it was nearly empty despite the live music. This is a real shame as this place was a gem.

Great atmosphere, Erdinger on draught. Bit chilly if people don't close the door on their way in or out.

Absolutely shocking gentleman with long curly hair very rude when I questioned why the seating area was reserved for staff in such a small pub on such a busy night as New Year’s Eve my husband and I go there every Sunday night or rather we did did I will spend my hard earned money elsewhere from now on such a rude man would t mind not a drink between them except McDonald’s food being consumed by them at ge table shocking

Nice little boozer this. Stopped in for a couple and thought it was great. Nice Japanese lager on tap that I thought was really refreshing. Defo go back

Pre booked for Sunday lunch 5 February 2 pm, booking confirmed, when we arrived told no food was served on Sunday but they would order out for us !!! Strange way to run a restaurant!!!

Celebrated a 21st birthday here. Staff were attentive, polite and did everything possible to ensure the day went well. Couldn't recommend this place enough and can't wait to go back.

Discovered this bar on a recent trip to Prescot. Decent beers and service, and an outdoor seating area. They do live music too. Good mix of people too. Recomnended

Great bar, small but lively, nice background singer, a bar where everyone's chatting but you can hear your own conversations. Been a few times, the bar staff have been a credit, on last visit, evening Friday 11th Feb, the staff were ace, well done, although the guy who said he was the Manager came across a bit pretentious.... Overall though, an absolute winner 👍

Had a lovely cosy night here last night with a friend - I was driving so I asked for a Mocktail - the lovely barman , whose name I forgot to ask, asked me what flavours I liked and then wasted no time “inventing “something delicious for me to try. In due course I had another with different flavours, equally delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for the pleasant and friendly staff here - thank you. We will be back……

This is NOT A RESTAURANT. Booked a table for 6 about a month in advance. Received an email confirming my booking. The day before the due date received an email reminder of my booking. Arrived as per my booking with 5 friends. On arrival we were asked if we had booked a table for food. Yes a table for 6. Oh sorry we don’t do food we were informed, so an group of 6 expecting a meal booked a month in advance had to very quickly find an alternative venue. The whole experience was a shambles, “we took the kitchen out during COVID”. The venue itself is far too small, the noise was unbearable. There was no real apology from the management. Avoid at all costs.

Cracking little pub in Prescot….very welcoming and attentive staff…and very dog friendly!

Really enjoyed my time here in this cosy bar. The place is quite tiny, but that only adds to the atmosphere. True to its name, you get a real Shakespearian vibe from the place. I indulged in the cosmopolitan cocktail, which was simple yet effective. All members of the party were impressed with their cocktails. Not too badly priced - not for cocktails, anyway. I've seen worse in my time. Bar staff were also really friendly. I shall have to return to attempt the Drown the Duke cocktail which looked delicious.

I love it here, the staff are very friendly and the cocktails are lovely. Fast service and very clean inside. Will defo be back!

Great bar great atmosphere, good selection of German beers

Called in during a walk into Prescot, live very local. Had the dog with us and he was welcomed with open arms by the two staff, whose names I failed to note. Excellent warm welcome, great fun and superb service! Due to the tier restrictions, we were the only ones in there but given a very comfortable area to sit and brought a little bowl of water for the dog....nice touch. It’s a great little place, just looking forward to being able to return....hopefully in the not too distant future. Many thanks!

Date of visit - 23/10/19. Popped in for impromptu breakfast. Might struggle at the price point for the area but food quality was good. Coffee wasnt upto much but limited to white or black as machine broken. Seek out a deal with Crosby Coffee lads 👍. Staff friendly. Would visit again but in the evening next time too give a fair shout on the whole offering. More to follow...

Good beers and interesting atmosphere

Visited this place and really wanted to like it but honestly would never visit again or recommend. I was with my friend and we both found the staff members to be rude. So many nice places to visit in Prescot would definitely not waste your time or money.

I haven't had the pleasure of going inside this lovely looking bar so just basing my review on their home delivery. Absolutely fantastic had a few orders delivered by a nice fella called Gavin. Please support this local business as they certainly know their beers.

Three girl mates booked a table for tonight. First visit so didn't know the menu. Lovely welcome and table upstairs but just blackboard menu of main meals. No starters. Plates of food delivered to other tables. Tomohawke stakes. You obviously need to be in the know to get special menu. Obviously a regulars venue sadly
