My dad is the most fussiest eater went to Bernie's this morning before we go out for the day dad got bacon on toast his comment "now that's a proper bacon butty" I had a BLT absolutely gorgeous always our first choice cafe never ever had one bad meal thankyou ladies

Waited 15 minutes just to order and then left 1 hour later with no food very poor service and after we had left all the breakfast in most food places are now shut and the place was only half full out of the few tables in the shop

Honestly the worst breakfast we have ever had. Read the reviews and seen pics before we went all sounded good. Got there ordered paid then the women said we haven’t got mushrooms, no problem is what it is. Then I heard her saying they run out of sausages.. then when the food came out we was so shocked the hash browns were rock solid and the sausages and bacon was black. Best thing about it was the toast. Won’t be going back again.

Brilliant sandwich very fresh and tasty. The staff were very friendly also.

Popped in for lunch my wife and l and two small dogs,really friendly staff, very helpful with Syd and Bert, the dogs, and very cheap for what we had , 2 paninni and chips with two drinks each and 2 sausages for the dogs , £16, thought it was really cheap but really enjoyed it, thanks

Being coming to this Cafe since it opened and the food is really nice. Cafe is very clean and staff very friendly and welcoming. Can’t fault it.

I would love to have tried the food and the fresh juice, but when I arrived at 12:40 the ladies said orders were not being accepted, because they had to clean, although working time in apple maps on Sunday says 13:30. They said it’s Easter. I don’t mind them going earlier with 40 minutes on Easter, as my family also follows Christianity. What was not so pleasant was the fact they were extremely rude and racist in my opinion. I just told them I was coming from far away( Aigburth road) and they didn’t say sorry, but instead said that they don’t care at all. May be I will come back to try some food and drinks, but the laddies’ attitude was terrible… :(((

Today I went with a friend for my breakfast to this lovely cafe. What a find. Very warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff were lovely and service exceptional The food was very tasty . We had both had a kind of breakfast butty , bacon sausage. Really good quality ingredients The place is spotless. Well worth a visit. Will definitely go again

got a breakfast from there and when opened it smelt like stale milk when phone shop they told us its the seasoning well am i the only one finding out now you can get stale milk seasoning we told them we will not be eating the breakfast and there reply ok thanks for calling letting us know i will never be going here again and would advise people if you dont want to get ill to do the same

The cook is no good she can't even cook a egg properly. It's over priced for what you get. There are plenty of better places around with much better food and prices.

Called Iin to Bernies in Maghull on Thursday with our walking group. Recently changed ownership but we decided to give it a try and were not disappointed. Warm welcome by staff. Order taken quickly but we weren't rushed. Staff are really friendly. All food was delicious, good quality produce cooked well. English breakfasts were great. Toast hot and choice of white od brown bread. Bottomless tea and coffee included in price. Tea served in glass teapot. Filter coffee.£5.50. Even offered a chocolate from their Quality St box. One lady had porridge. Equally pleased with it. Call in and give them your custom. You wont be disappointed. We will certainly call in again.

Got a delivery today, 2 of the stuff your face breakfasts. Perfection!! Quick delivery, lovely friendly service and the food was fresh and made to perfection. I visited the cafe with my mum a few weeks ago and it was the same great service then too. 100% recommend this place 👌

I've been eating at Bernie's cafe since she opened the business many years ago. The food is of a very high quality and all of her staff are very pleasant and professional. I would highly recommend a visit to the cafe.

La Sra. P y yo nos detuvimos en una cosas "tu cara" Desayuno, y realmente no era una broma. Pero lo que realmente nos impresionó fue la calidad de todo en el plato - todo estaba lleno de sabor y perfectamente cocinado, salchichas, bacon a de morcillas. Pero la pieza de resistencia fue sin duda las setas que eran simplemente deliciosa. En £4. 50 Este fue un desayuno muy buena relación calidad-precio y aunque es algunas horas ya que disfrutamos todavía estoy en forma de busto! Debes probar este lugar.

Went here for breakfast whilst in work and it was a very pleasant atmosphere and the food was cooked perfectly, I have visited many times and on each occasion it has been faultless

They have a good selection of meals for either eat in or take out. I have only used the take out option at lunch time due to work comitments.

The staff at Bernie's made us very welcome. we had breakfast - great food very well presented and tasted fab. The whole facility was exceptionally clean and welcoming. I would definatly be visiting again. thanks girls x

I called into this cafe with my wife for some food, we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful.

We have been twice now. this little place is a very friendly out of the way cafe that serves great food at a very cheap price... (Far better than going to McDonalds).
