First time visit to The Premier Pub for ages and I must say it was as good as always. A nice pub ,interior is cool ,an island style serving bar ,pubby decor and furnishings ,big screens to enjoy the sport and lots of seating options,it's an ok pub to chill out in. I joined about 20 family and friends in here on a Monday afternoon ,pub was rammed ,I stayed on pints of Carling lager and pints of guinness all afternoon ,service was quick ,price was really good ,atmosphere was superb ,had a great time in here before our group moved on to The Market Tavern Pub a minute or so walk away. The Premier Pub is easy to locate in Kirkby Town Centre . Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday,9am till 11pm. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

The Premier in Kirkby town centre is a local pub thats housed in a former bank and is a pub thats as local as it gets. This pub face's Kirkby Market and had been here for many years. The Premier has a nice interior with lot's of interesting feature's and excellent seating options throughout the interior and a pool table and occasionally hosts live music. We don't normally drink in this pub as were real ale drinkers and they don't serve craft or cask ales in here. But I must say on every occasion we have visited we always have a good time. On our visit to the Premier we had a couple of pints of Guinness which was spot on and really well priced. The Premier will not be to everyone's taste but it's a decent local pub in a nice area and well worth a visit.(This is my second review of the Premier). Opening Hours. Monday-Sunday-09.00-23.00. Hours May Differ From Above. Public Transport. Bus Stop. Kirkby Town Centre bus stop.

After having had a great eight days holiday in Prague my friend picked my brother Stephen and myself up at Manchester Airport ,a relatively short journey back to Liverpool,we dropped our bags at our home and within an hour of landing back in the United Kingdom we were sat with our group of friends in The Premier Pub enjoying some great beers and guinness. The Premier Pub is a good pub, think it's recently had a makeover,an island style serving bar, nice decor and furnishings ,a pool table,tv's and big screens to enjoy the sport there's also plenty of seating options ,it's just a good pub to unwind in. Our group took up about three tables ,I enjoyed lagers and guinness in here served by the really pleasant staff in this pub ,banter was good, atmosphere was really good, pub was packed,we stayed here for about 4 hours before we moved on to The Mainbrace Pub and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. The Premier Pub is easy to locate in Kirkby Town Centre and well worth checking out if you're in the area.

The Premier in Kirkby town centre is a local pub that offer's a decent drinks range that is well priced.Housed in an old bank which faces Kirkby market'this is a very local pub with a local clientele with friendly staff who look after there customers. This pub has been here for many years but its a pub we don't often visit as I drink craft and cask beers and this pub doesn't serve craft or cask ales. The pub itself has had a bit of a make-over since our last visit and is a decent pub to go to if you want to watch live sport in the afternoon. We visited in the afternoon to meet up with our friends and it was fairly busy in here as they where showing the horse racing. When here we had a few pints of Guinness and a couple of pints of lager which were served in perfect condition and well priced. The Premier won't appeal to everyone but its a decent enough pub with a well priced drink's range and is easy to find as its only a few minute's walk from Kirkby bus station. (This is my first review of the Premier). Opening Hours. Monday-Sunday-11.00-23.00. Public Transport. Bus Stop. Kirkby Bus Station.

The Premier Pub in Kirkby Town Centre is a pub I periodically drop into ,its not so much a local for me but when I do go here I always enjoy myself. The pub itself is ok,a light and airy interior, the main room is dominated by a solid wood serving bar, tv's to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, its a good pub to chill out in. My twin brother Stephen and I were here on a Thursday afternoon, we gave our details of name and phone number to assist with the governments track and trace system and then sanitised our hands, as part of the governments guildlines on having a substantial meal with alcohol we ordered bacon toasties and a guinness each, guinness was poured in the correct manner even allowing time for the all important settle, we just kicked back, chilled out and planned out the day ahead while sipping our guinness. Guinness served in here is excellent, thick, creamy and most importantly iced cold, a totally refreshing brew, while sipping our guinness our meals arrived and they were super, thick toasted bread, lean bacon and brown sauce, totally delicious. After our toasties and 1st guinness we ended up staying for another guinness each before moving on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. The Premier Pub is easy to locate on Market Square. A great pub, when the 3rd and final lockdown is lifted most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Located facing Kirkby Market is The Premier Pub ,a pub thats stood the test of time when so many pubs have been lost in Kirkby. A nice interior, an island style serving bar, tv's to enjoy the sport and despite its relatively small size there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, a nice locals pub. My twin brother Stephen and I dropped into here after having bought some new bed linen items in Kirkby Market, greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of the staff, after giving our details of name, phone number or email address to assist with the governments track & trace system, we got a pint of Carling beer ,these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just kicked back and planned out the rest of the day ahead. My beer was really good, a crisp, light and hoppy lager style beer bursting taste, very easy to drink and beer style I really enjoy. We both really enjoyed our beers in here and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time. The Premier Pub is easy to locate on Market Square. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, 9am till 11pm. A nice pub, worth a pint or two if your in the area.

We stayed here for a good few hours before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. The Premier Pub is easy to locate on Market Square in Kirkby Town Centre. I'm not comming to Costa often, maybe twice a year, but I'm not happy about my recent visit. Coffee and food as you would expect from Costa, but staff completely incompetent to work under pressure, remember orders or multitask, which is quite sad for such a nice place. 4 girls stressing around, spilling coffeys on the desk, customers waiting ages for their coffee as 4 girls cannot manage even 2 customers at the same time and can't remember an order for more than 10 seconds. I have been asked 3 times what I ordered even 10 minutes after I paid and that was just a croissant, lemon cake and late, three customers came after me been served before me, nothing for my level of patience. No smile, no politeness, no sorry, just stressed faces. Cannot recommend, otherwise the place is nice and clean.
