The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Chorley North West

Having passed this numerous times ,but having not called in ,we were looking for somewhere different for a bit light lunch Well this is the place a brilliant pot of tea ,oh and what a selection of cakes Will definitely return

There was items missing from my order and I wasn't informed that they was unavailable

Must have changed hands from last visit such a shame ,to be given a Latte straight from a packet and be told that a Flat White is just a spoon of coffee with milk and sugar . Asked about the coffee machine only to be told we can’t plug a coffee machine in something to do with the electrics ,found that rather odd we usually buy two drinks each and cake it’s lovely to see these little cafe when your out walking and give them your support but sadly I’m not paying for a packet latte.

Had breakfast here a few times, its usually good quality. Better than most offerings in the area. Have never been in the evening for the bar service though

What a fabulous find 😊. Not been to Chorley for years but coming across this cafe was the highlight of the day. The menu has a lot to offer with a wide selection of hot and cold food, as well as cakes, all attractively presented Three of us opted to share a chicken BLT and a cream tea. Our tea was served in china cups (always tastes so much better!!). The food was tasty and fresh and flavoursome. The decor was calming and attractive and above all, the cafe was tidy and clean Highly recommended 👌

I have wanted to go here for such a long time. I wasn't disappointed. Had a late breakfast (stake and eggs). It was perfectly cooked. The coffee was good (which they served with warm milk just how it should be). The staff were attentive and friendly. Will be going back. We didn't make a reservation BUT I think it would be advisable.

I went with my daughter for lunch. The cafe was quiet.The food was good,toasties, fries and lattes but it came to nearly £25 which I thought was a bit steep. There was a young man serving us but we heard his boss having a go at him for not ordering his food for his lunch before the other waiter came.This was not pleasant to listen to and could have been handled more discreetly.

We popped in for the lunchtime meal deal. And it was fantastic value. I had the pizza and it was spot on. I'll have the fish and chips next time though, as I got food envy as one arrived on the table near to me. 🤣

I like Fredricks and I’m not sure if it’s me but the vanilla wasn’t how I remember it with its creamy taste. The Chocolate wasn’t as strong so I’m not sure what’s changed but to me something was missing going off previous years. I’ll give it another go and hope it was just a one off because this was our favourite place for Ice cream for many years.

The Chunky Steak Pie is the best around and very reasonably priced for the quality of the ingredients used.

Took my friend for her 90th birthday today - the meal was excellent and the staff went above and beyond in singing happy birthday, Alice had a wonderful time Thank you so much

The sun was out, so we had to visit Cuerden View café again, this time a pot of tea for one for her and a chocolate milkshake for me just the best.

Mixed review. Had a lovely lunch here (2 ciabattas) and cannot fault the food and service. However after returning home and looking at receipt (partner paid while I was busy) we had been charged £6 for swapping fries to chunky chips on our meals. When we asked if we could swap there was no mention of any surcharge and have never come across this before (they were both same price on sides menu). Know it’s not an earth shattering amount but feel this is sneaky and it’s left a sour taste which is a shame as was looking forward to re-visiting with family. If this is the policy please be transparent with customers.

Good range of beers and a truly mixed crowd of locals throughout its many rooms

We went for tea to this beautiful pub yesterday. We have always liked the pub, with its wonderful history dating back 800 years - it even has a ghost - and we were not disappointed. The landlord was welcoming and friendly and we had a table next to the fire. We had a drink and ordered our food. I had seabass with new potatoes and tenderstem broccoli and capers (whivh I love), and John had fish and chips. My meal was absolutely delicious, the seabass was exactly as I like it - pan fried with crispy skin - and the veg perfectly cooked. John loved his haddock with chips and mushy peas. All in all, it was fabulous and we can't wait to go again.
