The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Tarporley Cheshire West and Chester North West

Excellent food and friendly service. There were 5 of us for dinner. It is a small plates menu so we ordered one of everything from the menu. The food was very good, especially the aubergine dish which was delicious! The gentleman serving us was lovely and the whole atmosphere was very friendly. It was somewhere that I had wanted to go for a while and will definitely be going back.

Our favourite place for a drink, we have been coming a lot recently and we love it.

We had lunch here today after visiting the farm shop and Kelsall cycles. It’s a cosy cafe looking out over a paddock with donkeys. We had tuna sandwiches, ham, cheese and mushroom toastie, a bowl of chips, pot of tea and a diet coke. Lovely service, lovely food and lots of friendly animals outside. We will definitely return!

Small coffee shop with some nice unique bits for sale. Seemed popular with local cyclists and dog walkers. Nice stop off with family

Dog friendly great sauce on tap. Lovely little Robinsons pub that’s got a warming feel to the place. Cosy little tables to sup your pint when it’s busy outside. Great atmosphere with a real fire.

We stopped as a party of 8 in Tarporley for an impromptu lunch and found this gem of a place! The staff could not have made us feel more welcome and were so attentive! We all ate different foods and I am gluten free and was served a delicious lunch. The whole party enjoyed the experience . Thank you !

We had our wedding at the swan in September 2024 . We had such an amazing day . All the staff went out of their way to make sure our day we’d purfect . The food was with outstanding. Everybody commented on it . The staff made our day even more special . We had a issue with our dj letting us down last minute the the team at the swan tried there very best to resolve the issue . Not having the dj didn’t spoil our day the staff set up there sound system and we were able to carry on partying . We would not have wanted our wedding anywhere else I would not hesitate to recommend the swan at tarporley for your special celebrations . Thank you all again for our special day . Could not believe it when I was asked for payment after ordering myself a bacon sandwich and cheese on toast for my partner. Cheese on toast £7.50 Bacon sandwich £7.25 (on a disgusting stale ciabatta that I can only think was previously frozen). I thought this would be the best snacks we had ever eaten after being charged such an extortionate prices. However, they did not even warm the ciabatta (which was stale in any event). VAT is still only 5%, so when it goes back to 20% next year will be an even bigger rip off. The people who own this cafe ought to be ashamed of themselves. I know business have been hit hard with this covid pandemic but everyone is struggling at the moment, its no excuse to blatantly rip people off. Not only was it a rip off price but it was nothing special to boot. Had better in a greasy spoon.
