I booked in a group of 10 cyclists from a group on the Wirral. Having cycled 30 miles we were greated by very friendly staff. The service was very slick and the quality of the food could not be faulted. Everyone in the group thanked me for booking such a good lunch stop. We will be back and thanks to all the staff for making us so welcome.

This place was highly recommended to us by a trusted regular customer called Arthur ! So we made the journey to see for ourselves Great parking Really cosy looking cafe with fairy lights and one side of windows over looking the donkeys and the sheep. You can feed the donkeys with older carrots left on the windowsill! Great choice of all sorts of food. All day breakfast items which is good. Reasonable prices lots of room for wheelchairs etc The staff were all really lovely and friendly They accommodated our daughters dietary requirements no problem and when it came it was lovely Everything we ordered was tasty and hot Across the car park is a farm shop and a gift shop they sell ice cream too We would definitely recommend this place and we will be back when in the area

We come here with our children as they have the free farm and we will then pop into the farm shop to buy some local produce. On this occasion, we went to the coffee shop for a hot drink and a snack. As money is often at the for-front of minds atm, I was shocked to see the prices they had for simple foods such as beans on toast (£5.50) and cheese on toast (£6.50)! We decided to get some cheese on toast to see what it was like , if it included any garnish etc but it was literally cheese on toast and the cheese had been burnt. The hot chocolate was also a very artificial tasting and at £3.80 is more expensive then our local, more high end, coffee shop. I know everyone is struggling but these prices just aren’t justified for what it was. At least add some crisps or salad with the cheese on toast. Interior is comfortable and welcoming. Staff polite, however, lady taking order was very robotic. We won’t be visiting the cafe again anytime soon solely because of the quality of food and the extortionate prices.

We had to travel to Rose Farm to get some gas from Ninja gas, and whilst we were here (Christmas Eve) we decided to pop in to the cafe. Mrs had a salmon and egg bagel and i had a breakfast bap. They were out of a few things but that is 100% understandable as they were closed for 10 days after Xmas eve. They were really upfront and honest about it and were still able to have bacon instead of sausage. I love the bacon here. The inside of this place is really cosy and we sat on some sofas and looked at the donkeys out of the window. A really pleasant breakfast

Real shame that there was a strong stench of dog in the cafe, had placed order for Sunday dinner & started debating whether I actually could/ wanted to eat there. Very off-putting to my appetite. Have been several times & worst I've smelt it. I'm a animal lover but shouldn't be subjected to that in a community space, it's not fair. To make it worse roast dinner very disappointing to last time, frozen aunt Bessie's potatoes, Yorkshire pudding possibly? Not worth £11.50 for small portion. Farm shop again had out of date stock on shelves, which is a common occurrence/observation. BUT seeing the animals is lovely, pigs, goats, donkeys etc x

We were recommended this place, so wife and I thought we would try it out. We went for a late breakfast and were certainly not disappointed with the portion and quality of the food. I had cancer on tongue and radiotherapy, so I lost a lot of my taste, but the bacon and sausages I had, I COULD TASTE! They are their own from the farm shop. I highly recommend going there for breakfast or lunch and then pay a visit to the farm shop. I am currently eating a sausage sandwich whilst writing this from their butchers in the shop. Go, you won't be disappointed!

Bad customer service. Dogs left to foul themselves by the restaurant. Not great food, stale bread. Poor quality catering mustard. Cheap crisps. An attempt at coleslaw. Budget tea. Old lady who appeared to be running it was just not friendly. Donkeys are nice if not scared away but the feral dogs that appear to run rampant around the place. Shame it could be so much nicer. Several issues were brought to the persons attention. Just dismissed as normal. One of them. If you love dog crap visit here imo. Other reviews are good so they are either friends or we visited on the wrong day.....

As a regular to this cafe, I want to shout it from the rooftops that the food served is better than most of the gourmet pubs in the area! I visited with my 92 year old uncle last week and we both agreed the lunch was delicious. Ham, egg and chips - wow. The ham was home cooked, proper chips and scrummy eggs. I’ve had this meal at other local restaurants and cafes and Rose Farm knock them all off the park! It’s a great location. Easy parking and so friendly. Highly recommend if you can’t walk far. No steps and you can park right by the cafe.

Freshly made coffee, sandwiches, cakes, and some specials, all day breakfast also available, Spotlessly clean with social distancing in place. There were three of us that visited, and all of us gave it the thumbs up. The coffee shop is set on a small complex, with a gift shop, garden shop and very well stocked farm shop! There is also a small field next to it, home to some donkeys! Great little gem on the outskirts of Tarporley village. Well worth a visit, and dog friendly too! ...only word of caution is that the toilets in the coffee shop, are currently shut. So be sure to use the ones available in the Texaco garage in Tarporley village, before or after your visit!

Stopped here after a walk in the Delamere Forest area. Great little cafe with good service and a wide range of drinks and cakes. Much nicer and quieter than going to the Delamere cafe plus there is a farm shop too.

I love this place. The butchery department is outstanding and nothing is too much trouble. The shop is very well stocked with quite a few specialty items. If you can't park in Tarporley, which is very likely, go up to Rose Farm. You can even get your car washed while you shop

No puedo esperar a volver!

I have lived in the village for almost 27 years and, to my shame, have only eaten at the Coffee Shop twice, apart from their excellent bacon and egg butties. We ate thre today because we were lost for somewhere to go and had an excellent fish, chip and pea lunch - just like it used to taste!

Attended Saturday night quiz. Arrived at 7:00pm. Started with a glass of red wine and Mediterranean platter followed by a to die for cheesecake( all food freshly cooked by Jason ( chef ) and the team. Wolfed the cheese cake down and realised I hadn't took a picture. Had a few more vino's during the quiz along with some banter with Jason and the regular customers. All tables were booked and nice to see a full house. Made a change to the average Saturday night and will certainly do it again. Would recommend to call in prior for some brekky or lunch to book quiz any day before or on Saturday. Quiz moved on quicker than your normal pub quiz which was great with the light banter and no typical interruptions from pub scene. Didn't win the quiz but enjoyed trying.

Stumbled on this wonderful cafe as we were on our way home from a camping trip. The staff are incredibly friendly and were so welcoming and kind to my 5yo daughter. The food was amazing, we both had the breakfast and my daughter had a lunch box which she loved and I thought it was great value, when we went inside to pay we couldn't not buy one (or two) of the amazing cakes. So delicious. Thank you :)

Our favourite place to come for brunch after football. The team, as always, went above and beyond with the orders for our family (all with different dietary requirements). The boys had the classic big breakfast with local products at a great price. I tried the weekend special eggs Benedict and it was amazing. The boys filled their boots. The girls enjoyed new things. The doorstop toast alone is worth the visit. Sadly, no room for my favourite one the menu - parsnip cake, but the cake-away option meant I could enjoy it later. We brought a friend for their first visit and she was blown away.

Not religious at all but like other reviewers found this true OASIS when looking for refreshment in Chester Just great, lovely staff and clientele and great quality and value coffee and cakes... Interesting selection of books, gifts, cards etc Would use regularly if we lived locally Staff say they may have to relocate soon due to "commercial development of the site" Surely the Church which is not short of funds can provide an alternative venue for this wonderful place which probably does more for spreading the religious message than many more traditional churches etc...something in the Cathedral Precinct maybe?? Good luck to you all and God bless ( if it helps)
