This is an excellent place. My sister and I come here almost every day. When it’s sunny we like to sit outside and sit in the sun to read. The coffee is great and they don’t charge extra for dairy free milks. The pastries and treats are also very good. The owner is very kind and always has a big smile when we come in. The place is also very very clean.

When we saw this food truck along South Bank on Christmas Day we were so happy we high-fived each other. It looks like it doubles up as an ice-cream van but on Christmas Day they were selling mulled wine, spiced cider and hot whiskey. At £8.95 for a large amaretto mulled wine I thought it was expensive but I didn't care :)

Eaten in this cafe many times, especially when Adrian still owned it. the new owners are lovely UNTIL you run into issues. I love the bagels Rodney does, and even while having to wait over 30 minutes last time when he had to go to the shop to get ingredients, leaving me alone in the cafe, I didn't mind. Mistakes happened and I worked all my life in the hospitality industry to overlook certain things. But there's 1 thing I cannot overlook, and that is hygiene issues. I ordered a bagel and coffee as usual, it came pretty quickly compared to before and was just plain normal. I always wash my hands before eating and found there was no hand soap in the bathroom. Upon asking Rodney, he handed me washing up liquid. He prepared my bagel without washing his hands nor with gloves (he later claimed he used gloves, but I clearly saw him prepping food without gloves). I asked him how he can wash his hands without soap. It then went for about 15+ minutes back and forth and I returned my bagel and coffee without eating/drinking and requested a refund. He refused at first and even told me with a condescending smile I could go to the other cafes in the area. I persisted for a refund, but he wanted my bank details to do it later online. I informed him about GDPR data protection. He had no clue what I was talking about regarding handling data as a business. I responded that I could show him on his card machine how to issue a refund. After a long bacj and forth he finally called the credit card company that manages his account to issue a refund. I mentioned to Rodney that if an EHO visits and finds there's not hand washing while food's prepared etc., he also didn't know what an EHO is. There has never been a hygiene rating sign and there isn't even any allergy advise like restaurants/cafes do now since the whole Pret a Manger allergie deaths and injuries. Rodney is great guy, lovely vibe, art and music, the bagels are delicious, but when it comes to food hygiene, I don't close my eyes! We also just came out of a pandemic, and when a food place doesn't take hygiene serious, it should not deal with food. The way he patronised me and simply did not understand anything, neither with hygiene, nor allergies, nor data protection, not even how to issue a refund ... how did you get into this business Rodney?! I don't care how expensive food is, I don't care how long it takes, even go to the supermarket to buy ingredients while I wait, but do NOT muck around when it comes to hygiene!!!

This place was a real different treat in London. Quirky, friendly and the service was great. Food was on point. Toilets were super clean. Drinks were served to perfection. If I'm ever passing again I would defo revisit.

Este pequeño y pequeño local sirve un excelente café si quieres uno para llevar. Un poco caro, pero algunos de los mejores cafés alrededor! Es triste que no esté abierto los domingos.

We were looking to grab a coffee in the Brixton area and popped in here. The menu looked so nice we decided to get lunch while we were there. Wow! The food was delicious, really lovely vegetarian options and generous portions of beautiful tasting, fresh food! Really nice little cafe with friendly staff - we’ll be back!

A spit & sawdust pub in it's latest incarnation. No Frills. A few shouty customers . I've been in a few times. Not somewhere I'd go for a relaxing drink.

We were there for a Sunday lunchtime visit and birthday celebration. The staff were really positive and accommodating when we asked if we could have a quieter table, and in fact the staff and service was great all round. Unfortunately, by 1.15pm the restaurant felt more like a creche than a restaurant. I know these comments will be disliked by most parents but they are aimed at those parents who allow their children to play on the floor directly in the way of the service route from the kitchen, and to let them cry/shout loudly. The food was beautifully presented. Our starters were cheese soufflé, crab and sweetcorn bon bons; escargot and French Onion soup. All tasty but soufflé could have been more cheesy and the bon bons more crabby. Main courses were also presented well - Oak Smoked Outdoor Pork Ribeye; Grain-fed Chicken and Chalk stream Trout and as for taste and enjoyment, we gave the respective votes, out of 10; of 6, 7 and 7. Not sure I would rush back to Brasserie Blanc in Southwark in a rush, and would go next time to the one in Covent Garden.

Puja and Shivani did a excellent job with our order. I went in for my daughters birthday along with 8 of her friends and they did a great job with taking our orders and making it as quick as possible. Thank you
