I Have been coming here for 4 years and supporting this place, the staff 99.9% of the time are amazing, the manager today on the other hand Rob Alexandra was out of order and rude. My 2 kids aged 8 and 10 walked there to buy there treat for the day, as a Parent you do worry about your kids walking around London, they got what they wanted but didn’t know that Galis doesn’t take cash , yep UK legal tender is not accepted at Gail’s. So they walked home to let me know , I then went to the store to get my kids the items with my card , as I went to pay I spoke to Rob about this as I was unaware that a UK business didn’t accept British pounds. He told me I need to learn how to read , yes there is on a very small sign that no one would see when they walk in at the bottom of the door, but nothing in side of the store what so ever stating this, This was definitely not the way to Speak to someone who was spending there money in your store. Rob went on to mock us after we left completely forgetting I was in the store while called me and my son stupid people, this is meant to be management , he is around a lot of young people who work there , I wouldn’t trust him with my kids working there that’s for sure. Management are leaders and Rob is far from a leader . I don’t think I can return back to this Gail’s as this is not what I call a good environment.

Was ignored while staff gave preferential treatment to regular clientele. Staff were very rude, coffee was eventually served - stone cold. Made to feel very unwelcome.

Couldn’t be bothered to listen to the order and then forgetting to bring it across. Coffee took a long time to come and then cold. Soup ordered and bread thrown into a paper bag even though I was eating in. No plates or even butter for the bread. The assistant manager, apologised in a heartless manner. No manager as the post is vacant. I walked out never to return to an arrogant overpriced dump. This is not the first time this has happened in terms of service.

You have increased your prices nearly 20% which I thinks it’s rip off and crime to increase prices in such I big increase! All nation going through tuff times and I understand companies going through the same feeling to survive, but to put your prices up by 20% it’s absolutely disgusting! Wish you good luck, but you lost one customer today just being greedy

¡Amo esta panadería! Incluso si los precios están en el rango alto, sus ensaladas son deliciosas, y sigo trayendo a París, donde vivo, sus bolsas de granola para un desayuno saludable.

This is a review for the Atrium Cafe, but I'm posting here also. I didn't end up buying anything here as I had an odd and off-putting interaction with at least 2 staff. One black bob hair, the other shaved mullet with LGBT pins. I was standing in front of them when they were making eye contact with me as they whispered to eachother and giggled - with zero tact or subtlety. When asked for the 5th time in less than 30 seconds if I wanted to order anything (they don't leave you alone for a second!) I firmly said 'No' - after that behaviour. Black bob said "Even better - then we don't have to go to the effort of making anything for you." I was quite shocked by the bad attitude. I work in customer service and I know difficult customers, and I didn't do or say anything to warrant that attitude. You should employ adults rather than these silly girls who are obviously bitter about being on the counter rather than on stage.

We came in for a Sunday Roast and tbh the food was pretty average. But the service made up for it :)

Tried this restaurant for a quick meal before a show at The National Theatre. On arrival I was a bit concerned about being in and out quick enough (within an hour) as it was busy though loved the buzzy atmosphere. However, needn’t have worried. Staff are excellent and very customer reactive. The cocktail came quickly (was delicious) and water even more quickly. We were able to order without much of a wait and food (chose two courses each) came in time which was not only presented well but tasty and, importantly, served hot. We hadn’t specified at the start that we had theatre, but mentioned it as we got our mains and asked for our bill at the same time. Swift payment and all done in 50 mins with plenty of time to walk to the theatre, grab some water and enjoy the show. Will definitely come here again.
