Very tasty meal! We told our server, Nyah, that we didn't have much time as we were going to a show, so the food arrived quickly, and Nyah was very friendly.

Nyah had great attitude and service. Food was amazing especially the squid. Came out quickly and was an amazing place

Oct 24- we passed by and stopped for light dinner of small plates. Overall it is not inexpensive and you get very small plates! We had 3 between two but ordered another side of fries. Condiments have to be requested and drinks are good but expensive. Good vibes, friendly staff and sassy location. We went on a Friday before theatre and NT. 4 drinks, 4 small plates was £45 pp The crab fritters were more like dough balls so disappointed; the squid was tasty; the monkfish was tiny but delicious and the best with a dip to die for! (may benefit from pitta too).

The food was excellent, we visited mid week and in the middle of the day and I could not fault the service...it was a little pricey but you get what you pay for... I would definitely eat there again

We had the burger and it was really nice. And not a bad price for where it is.

Exceptional presentation of their products, and excellent customer service from every member of the staff. I've had dinner here several times for the past 5 years, and I'm surprised about the constant improvement of this place!

I went at the restaurant with a friend and we really enjoy the atmosphere and the food. The service was excellent, Valeria looked after us and she was attentive and helpful and add value to the all experience.

Food, service and a excellent place to sit and relax while eating. Ice cream and Earl Grey tea was very nice. Staff were polite and not pushy. Food and drink prices were fair and reasonable. Highly recommended 👍

We had a wonderful pre- theatre meal at BFI Riverfront. We hadn't visited before and booked last minute as everywhere was busy but we were not disappointed. The food was delicious. Our group was a mix of vegans and vegetarians and there was plenty of choice. The vegan gnocchi was delicious, as were the Small plate Burrata . Lovely fries and sweet potato fries and can highly recommend the focaccia with olive oil. The icing on the cake was the vegan sticky toffee pudding with vegan honeycomb ice cream. Everything was very reasonably priced and perfectly cooked and the atmosphere was buzzing. What made the experience so special was the service, especially our waitress, Victoria, who couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely be back!

We hadn't planned on eating here but we're definitely not disappointed. The food saved staff were brilliant.

Servers take ages to take order, good luck trying to get their attention. Then deliver incorrect drink that also took ages to swap for a correct one. And it wasn’t even busy! Cant image what happens during rush hour.

It's always so awkward to say something, particularly when all one wants is to get the train back home after a long day. However, the experience was just subpar. First, people who sat after us got served their drinks and then food first. Apparently we're the only one who had an issue with our order in the system, which is why it took so long. Secondly we asked for a high chair several times, yet only got one as the food was arriving. Thirdly, the food was just... Bland. The olive oil for the focaccia, which barely had any rosemary, was a random store bought brand and nothing reasonably sourced. The chips were good, but have had better McDonald's burgers.... Not sure if the bottle or the glass I used with tap water was properly washed because I could still taste the rosé it held. Last but not least, service charge. I have worked in the industry, so I absolutely love to tip people... When I get stellar food and service. So being forced to pay service charge when we got served last, didn't get a high chair promptly, and the food was barely edible... Yes, our 1 year old threw food and broke a glass (which got away from me), which is why we would have tipped anyway, but it should be our choice to do with an amount we see fair. I hope you take feedback on board and improve.

Great experience on the gay pride day, with added pride accents, good on BFI

I love this place I went yesterday with my family, a 2 and 3 year old babies and my brother who is visiting from Mexico. We had a fish and Chips and was gorgeous, my brother had a Goats cheese pizza and my husband had the beef burger. Everyone loved their food The servers were very patient with us and kind when dealing with the kids They offered us the kids menu and I am glad they had milk as an options, my kids don’t eat sugar! Everyone was satisfied with the big portions and the taste! I hope this place get more good reviews because they deserve better! As a business owner myself I want to support the business that do well! BTW, the fish and chips I had was very very very good! I love a good fish and chips. The batter was crispy and the size was huge! The chips in general we had for our meals were freshly cooked!

All lovely but as it is a cultural space the music ought to be jazzy or film scores, not brain dead minimalistic and depressive

They get 5 stars purely for the cooking on the cod dish we had. Friend had the pork and also said it was amazing. But literally the cod…it was perfect. Plenty of veggie options too. Recommend for a nice lunch with a friend as quite relaxed. Plenty of draught beers/cocktails both of boozy and non alcoholic type.

Great service, good location, dreadful pizza. Corse maize flour frozen dough, the topping was tasteless and far from being fresh. They make pizzahut looks like a Michelin ⭐ establishment.

Poor manu from the bar. We ordered our food and we been told we not allowed eat at the front I mean outside on the table . We come here with small child and dog so we planned to eat outside . We been unable to enjoy our meal as family . We been taking turns to say outside with our dog .

Great atmosphere drinks food and service. This is now our go-to place for evening out.

Absolutely rude management, staff was so nice and polite though… the manager was so rude, obnoxious, arrogant and inattentive! Garbage! Don’t waste your time, money and good energy!!!

I was baffled and outraged by the manager on duty… dismissive, arrogant and distant… was passing by and decided to have some snacks-big mistake!

Oh my so loud! Apparently there's a bar tender who makes an amazing old fashioned though. I was there to meet a pal to see a film so it was fine.

Lunch for 4 on a Saturday. The place was busy and buzzy. Staff appeared cheerful ,our server was very friendly and helpful, one of our party had specific diet requirements and it was no problem for the chef. Food was delicious. Definitely be returning, also a great spot to watch the world go by.

Overall the food is really good but remember to read 12.5% mandatory tip that is being added to every bill, which is written under the menu with a small font.

I have a soft-spot for the coffee blend they use here. I also find the staff consistently friendly and it helps I already love the location.

Closes a little too early in my opinion and gets busy quite quickly. Still, it has nice views and feels sort of cosy for a big place like this. Good place for spotting actors as I’ve seen a good few there over the years, of course it’s nice to give everyone their privacy tho. Not much in the way of decent wine, but the tea is decent.

Dinner before a film, very nice location with good atmosphere, just under Waterloo Bridge. Busy restaurant, next to a bar area, but still super quick service with smiling staff! Food was delicious and water was brought to the table even without asking. Would definitely return and recommend to friends!

Went here with my girlfriend and our 2 year old son and the service we received was apalling. Now bare in mind the place was borderline empty with only two tables at the time filled so there was plenty of room and lots of spare service staff,We stood around the entrance for atleast five minutes waiting for the servers to finish their conversation (after looking at us multiple times) before we were seated. After being seated we looked at the menu and it took them another 15 mins to ask us if we wanted any drinks, we made our order aswell as our food order. The food didnt take long at all and it was absolutely amazing, we made sure to give compliments to the chef as we left. However after all of us had finished eating we had sat there for 20 minutes with empty plates and empty glasses on the table whilst and the servers AND EVEN THE MANAGER OF THE ESTABLISHMENT stood at the front of the store and had a fun chat. Finally we were approached at that point i called for the bill and was FORCED TO PAY A TIP, absolute joke of a place. The fact that they find it at all acceptable to force a tip onto our bill and refuse to take it off after the worst service i'd ever received is astounding, mcdonalds does a better job

nft1 will always be one of my favourite places to see any film, just wonderful. Comfy seats, cosy and always fab.

Menu is very unadventurous and quite limited to the most popular of fast foods like burgers and pizza.

£4.50 for a piece of bread. What!? The rest of the menu is OK, though definitely subject to shrinkflation, but there’s something quietly obscene about asking for £4.50 for some bread and butter. The food is broadly OK and the staff are nice and capable. But I won’t go there again, it’s just kinda wrong somehow. Somebody is getting badly ripped off here and it’s probably the customers.

Nice place to get some food and drinks. Nothing special or fancy but ok if you are in that area. Pizza was nice and quick delivered. Have of it is a bar and the other part the restaurant.

My favourite place along the southbank to get some good pizza, drinks and a nice chilled atmosphere. You can walk into the restaurant and get seated pretty quickly, but the bar does fill up quick. Nice people and place.

Terrible food. Two pizzas, a risotto and a burguer. All terrible. Orangini are just croquettes. The pizza base tasted bitter, very salty and low quality cheese. Risotto very small and no taste. Burguer was Ok.

Came to this beautiful location with some work, colleagues for a few drinks. we were able to get a seat and table very quickly. There are good variety of drinks. The place had a very nice feel to it close to the river. It was convenient as it was a short walk to Waterloo station.

Doesn't look much from the outside and tbh you could easily just walk by, but the food was very impressive cooked by skilled chefs that you can see at work, service was very pleasant and friendly ( after a little hicup) which was very swiftly put right would defo recommend.

This place was fine. It's in a busy area full of people and tourist so prices seem to match that. The food was alright and it is a good place to enjoy people watching with your meal if you sit on the patio under the bridge. The service was fine, but nothing stuck out as amazing or above and beyond to rate it any higher.

Very bad service. Asked for water and a bill a few times and waited for 10 minutes each.

Ordered a margarita pizza but the flavour off the cheese overpowered the meal (it tasted more like a 3 cheese pizza) when I sat down, the waitress brought a drink over to me by mistake and part of the drink spilled all over me/bag but no damaged caused- but didn't receive an apology. The price for the meal was decent, but probably won't eat there again.

Came here for a birthday which was known by the restaurant beforehand. They made an effort to get our group a nice window table, much appreciated. The venue was very busy and as a result we had to wait quite a while for food. However, there was ample number of staff on duty that night. So why it was hard to catch a waiter/waitress I don't understand. If you focus on your own zone, that should not be a problem. Therefore, seemed a bit disorganised. The food was very tasty, though the chocolate pudding appeared to taste like instant pudding, both in texture and taste. Bill came to a hefty £114 for a,table of 4, though only 1 alcoholic drink was ordered. No complimentary dessert for the birthday person, which is standard in the vast majority of restaurants. Overall pleasant but from some aspects disappointing.

Great place, the most amazing 'security' [Lisa] that I've ever seen, super conscientious and yet brilliant at her job, and charming too. Meanwhile, ;) film, food, fun and a great bar in a 'strip' that is mainly eats but bar chill - go bfi - please fix the lighting council people!! It's a river highlight with the books n ' all so give a little love 💕

I've been here a few times now, both for drinks and food. The staff are always lovely and friendly. Nice and chill atmosphere with good pizza!

Sorry but the drinks are OTT prices (£17 for 2 x simple gin and tonics at the bar), the food was poor quality (sourdough turned out to be slices of toast... burger rolls and chips burnt), we also had to remind three waiters to bring us things we ordered (all overpriced) and then we noticed a £7 'service charge' on our bill after leaving. Just insulting. Film was great fun, cinema was lovely, but we'll never eat or drink here again. Shame really but it seems greed is everywhere in 2023.

Súper recomendable place for good food in London . Very good service and quality. Love it 😍 lace that you can have good coffee or good coctel and delicious snacks. Don’t miss it !!!

Food was nice. Setting is also nice, if a little noisy. Service was very disorganised. It gave the impression of a missing manager. A couple of the service staff were rather grumpy.

The BFI Riverfront is a fantastic destination for film enthusiasts and food lovers alike. With its stunning riverside location and diverse menu, it offers a unique dining experience accompanied by beautiful views of the South Bank.

Really good spot upstairs - not too busy and friendly staff. Prices are reasonable for Southbank but the food is a little average - platters are poor / pizza is good. Stick to the drinks or have a look at what others get before you order...

Good food albeit a small meal for the price (one bit of chicken and handful veg) . Plate taken away then ignored for half hour. When i complained just got ignored. Used to be good but since covid poor for anything but a very average pizza. Started off well but by time I left was frustrated and fed up and still hungry. Served the gin and tonic with it all just bunged in a tall glass. Amateur. Bfi great avoid this part however

The place and food was nice enough but the server at the bar was obviously in a bad mood and was just generally very passive-aggressive.

I am Vegan and oil-free. This may sound like a tall order and I didnt want to eat here but my partner did. I asked if I could have a regular mixed salad and a sugar-free lemonade. It was a no to both. The only diet soft drink they had was diet Coke and they said they couldn't make a salad up as it wasn't on the menu that I could only opt for the "warm" vegan salad which was on the menu if I wanted a vegan salad. Other meals came with mixed leaves and tomatoes, so why could they not accommodate this fairly basic request? The English breakfast tea with oatmilk which I got instead of soda was nice. The waiter was a sweet man even though he didn't ask for me about accommodating this just said it wouldn't be possible. I would not go back. High prices and pathetic they couldn't accommodate a request to make a basic side type salad up. In the end I ordered tenderstem Broccoli which said grilled so my partner wasn't eating alone. It came swimming in oil despite being grilled and the oil in my mouth made me feel quite unwell.

Great food and service very busy but didn't have to wait long staff very helpful

Nice atmosphere and comfy chairs but the drinks are expensive and the cocktails were made terribly, the service was extremely slow. It may have just been our bad luck but we went to the upstairs bar and there was only one bar person serving customers making drinks and serving food at the same time. The cocktails were made without any measurement and tasted like diluted lime juice water. They’ve also had issues with some beer lines.

The second time that we plan to come for lunch and we are rejected!!! First time they said they would not sit more guests as they didn’t have staff, today we arrived and they had a sign that kitchen is closed until 5pm… Not s reliable place to plan a visit, I would not recommend

So dissapointed!! Came for lunch with friends and their kitchen was closed but on Google appeared as open!! Really not good at communicating with customers...

Let's get this straight. If you want a good meal for the same money, go elsewhere. The food is very average. If you want atmosphere and a place to chat, a total no brainer.

£16 for 2 sausages & mash with gravy so high profits and little to offer. Service charge included at 12.5% when all the staff looked totally bored and glum. Not recommended.

They were only serving pizza due to an issue, but it was very good - and a good price considering the location. Staff were very nice.

Expensive, but the view and the fact you're in one of the cultural hubs of London, makes it worth the buck.

NOT dog friendly. We sat down with a small well behaved dog and was asked to leave being told “we are not dog friendly” by the manager.

직원이 친절해요. 시간 1시간 당겼는데 마침 사람도 없다고 좋다고 하면서 당겨주셨어요! 각자 계산도 되고 좌석도 창가로 배정해주셨어요. 예약하고 갔는데 예약 안 하고도 괜찮을 것 같긴했어요. 야경을 보면서 먹으려고 했는데 밖이 어둡고 안이 더 밝아서 밖은 잘 안 보이더라고요. 저는 햄버거 맛있게 먹었는데 친구가 홍대 햄버거 더 맛있는 집이 있다고 거기 먹어보라고 하네요. 야채가 많이 든 햄버거는 아닌데 잘 먹었어요! 소고기 햄버거랑 레모네이드 먹어서 혼자서 20.76 파운드 나왔어요! 서비스 요금 포함해서요!

Staff really helpful but unfortunately very dog unfriendly . What’s wrong with managers using health and safety as an excuse. There is no such law to ban dogs from restaurants or drink places.

Saw Metropolis here with a live accompaniment and it was wonderful.

Comically small portions - I ordered the chicken main which was supposed to come with potatoes but came with one tiny purple new potato cut in half - for a whopping £18. Left very hungry. Service was pleasant.

Bad food and worse service. Sat there ages and had to call the waiter over repeatedly asking to order food. Asked for water 4 times before it came. Would have drunk 3 drinks each if he'd bothered to keep an eye on refilling but only had 1 because he never came back. Had no idea what food was or wasn't available. One of the few times in my life I've asked to have the service charge removed from the bill.

My mushroom burger was just a tasteless steam mushroom in a bun and arrived in less than 5mn!!?? Also we did not even had time to get up at the end that a waiter was already kind of pushing us aside to clean the table.

Everywhere was pretty busy and this place was quiet - should have been a dead giveaway! Firstly the beer was flat, they replaced this, twice. I gave up and asked for a bottled beer. Side note that every drink is £25% more than anywhere else, so at least get the drink correct! The kids meal i asked if they could change the mash for the chips - they asked the chef he said no. Not great since its a kids meal but looks more like just to be difficult. Meals come out which are really mediocre, we had the adults sausage and mash, and the kids. The only difference in portion sizes was an extra sausage and gravy. Literally!! Mash also tasted just like instant mash. Quite literally asking massive prices for awful food and drinks. On a good note - our waitress was awesome, full of joy and probably the only thing keeping this place standing.

The coolest place on the South Bank. Good drinks, outside seating even in winter, in fact better in the cold evenings. Worth going in for drinks, film or food.
