Cheap and tasteless and obviously microwaved food....Expensive for what it is. Second and very last time we will go there!!!

They such nice people and the food is yummy,not the coffee doe!

Went this morning to have brunch as a family with a newborn and a toddler. We were told a big enough table would be available in 5-10 minutes, but we couldn’t wait inside the restaurant, they told us we would have to wait outside on the bench. With a 3 week old baby and a toddler this wasn’t ideal with an outside temperature of 2 degrees… we asked if we could just wait to the side, inside the restaurant for our table and they said they had no space for this. The restaurant was only half full so there was sufficient space to let us wait, they just didn’t want to accommodate this. The staff member we encountered was extremely rude and as a restaurant they obviously aren’t family friendly. We obviously won’t be returning, but disappointing that places can’t be more accommodating to families.

I remember coming in here last time I was in Orpington - in 2018. This time I had a vegetarian pasta dish. A full portion is £4.95 but I didn't want too much so went for a half portion at the same price which was just enough. The pasta sauce was very tasty. Including a pot of tea my lunch came to just over £7 which was excellent value.

I had a tasty GF sandwich - freshly made - and some delicious fruit marzipan cake to take away. Very helpful and friendly staff.

I have been to this cafe a number of times as I work nearby. The food is freshly cooked and delicious, there are plenty of options for veggies and vegans. The couple who run it are friendly and accommodating which adds to the relaxed atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

Stopped here during a walk and was very impressed with the home-made cake and tea. The building is interesting and good use has been made of its small size. The owners were very welcoming and friendly.

We had food for my sisters 60th birthday. We had a mix of normal and vegan sandwiches and wraps. Plus coleslaw, potatoes, pasta, and Greek salad. I must say the food was excellent, the filling was great and our guest enjoyed it so much 5 stars would recommend.

The service is always very good and really friendly but the main reason I had such a great time this particular visit was the absolutely delicious gluten free brie and beetroot tartlet. It is so rare to find good gluten free options anywhere but this was particularly delicious.

I love this place and have been coming since it opened but the last few times I’ve been, I’ve had to wait around 15 mins for a takeaway coffee. Staff are getting stressed and flustered, mixing up orders and on two occasions they simply stopped taking orders because they’d got so behind (but didn’t explain this to the waiting customers). I’m sure they are trying their best but it’s awful to see customers walking out. Such a shame as I really want to continue to enjoy coming here, and the coffee is great! I like supporting local businesses and want to see them thrive. Not sure what the problem is - maybe the kitchen is too small to cope with all the food orders or perhaps the staff need dedicated roles eg. One person making all the coffee. Maybe the menu is too diverse for that little kitchen? It would help too if a staff member perhaps explained that there would be a long wait due to it being particularly busy, and then we could decide whether to leave the queue. I’m putting this review on here in the hope that the owners will see it and make some changes. I really hope it improves.

I stopped in for lunch and had the chicken escalope with fries and my partner had the spaghetti bolognaise. It was a delicious meal with a home cooked feel at a very reasonable price! The lady who served us was very friendly, chatty and absolutely hilarious. I will be going back!

A lovely breakfast every time. Nice friendly atmosphere and always happy to see you. Definitely worth a visit and look forward to our Saturday mornings here.

The coffee and cakes here are sensational. I'm serious about coffee; it is an obsession. I source my own green coffee beans, roast them and work hard to be a good barista. Hence I am always dissatisfied with coffee 'out'. I fell upon this place while waiting to pick-up my wife from the hospital yesterday. It is the best prepared coffee I've had out in recent years. The one that came close cost £8.50 from a Michelin star restaurant. The only down side is that I need a better excuse to go back! The service was great too. Keep-up the great work.
