Stopped here during a walk and was very impressed with the home-made cake and tea. The building is interesting and good use has been made of its small size. The owners were very welcoming and friendly.

The coffee is fantastic Always visit on trip to see family ,great outside seating areaPastries are excellent too!

The outside area is an especially quiet and calm spot and the owners are very welcoming. The cafe located next to the underpass beneath the rail line is on the Green Chain walk and on the cycle route with links to to Penge, Crystal Palace Park and Cator Park, and the best local coffee stop for that park.

The most ambient Coffee shop in Beckenham. An idyllic period building dating back from 1881 set in the lovely grounds of Kent House station forecourt. Fresh coffee, a slice of delicious cake and even walk away with a bunch of beautiful flowers. Come along in the evening and enjoy a beer or one of their wonderful cocktails, also served all day. Kid and dog friendly.

I'm a big fan of this place to be honest. My son and I popped in one evening on our way back and had a drink in the sun. We got a cute bowl of Pom bears with our drinks. The staff are lovely and it's a really nice spot.

I have heard such great things about Kent House Coffee and Flowers, but suggested meeting a friend there last Monday morning and was very disappointed, My coffee was luke warm, we asked if there was anything to eat and was pointed to some croissants. There are missing a huge trick and could offer so much more to eat. I had to put a 1 for food as I could not put zero. In the end we drank our luke warm drinks and headed off to my usual go to in Beckenham where we enjoyed a lovely breakfast, hot coffee, and a very welcoming and friendly service.

I just had worst coffe ever! Coconut flat white- biter, extremely hot. Definitely not coming back I’m very disappointed

A lovely little coffee shop on the penge/Beckenham border hidden away by Kent House Station. Lovely place to stop for a coffee or beer. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

I have been using this coffee house all through lockdown , and it’s very good, except for one very annoying issue , every time I go, I ask have you got any kit-kats, NO , any bounty’s No , any cakes , NO , why not ? in Tesco’s you can buy 4 choc bars for one 🦑, if you have any commercial inklings, which I have to say is suspect in the catering industry , SORT IT OUT!! , I must have asked 20 times , so a simple request “A chocolate bar “ is it that hard , or do I keep giving Tesco’s my 🦑 for 4 bars , or to you one 🦑, for one bar, it’s a tricky one 🤪

This cute little cafe is a very good find right by Kent House station. It was mid-week in the afternoon so very quiet and only one person running it, which was sufficient. Face masks are essential if you need to go inside and use the facilities, otherwise seating is outside and you place your order and pay at kiosk by the door. The only downside is that you can’t preview your food prior to ordering so I did end up with a cake, as lovely as it was, had very little in a way of filling (see pic attached). Other than that, the Prosecco (sold by the glass) was very good and it was a nice touch to throw in some crisps too. A good afternoon was had by all.

i first discovered Kent House Coffee & Flowers whilst walking my dog, and it is the most wonderful little gem in the area! It fast became a regular stop! come rain or shine they are so warm, welcoming and friendly. I also have to say that their coffee is delicious and really hits the spot! They always give me a little Biscoff cookie which I have to say is probably the thing that got me hooked! & keep an eye out for their evening events and tasty pop up gastronomic parties! YUM! Luke and Jill are fantastic hosts and will make everybody and anybody feel welcome. They have an array Cakes and pastries , and the flowers Jill arranges are stunning! Never disappoints - except when they are closed! LOL. KEEP doing what you're doing guys! you're a credit to your trade! Mark & Cooper.

The coffee has become a staple for commuters but in the evenings the gelato is what brings you back. Also had a Mexican pop up with great cocktails!

Great friendly staff always willing to help in anyway they can. They offer a wide range of drinks both hot and cold and now offer ice cream as well. If you are passing pop it, highly recommended.

Never disappoints. I love their flat whites - absolutely spot on every time. Lovely people serving too, always very friendly and service is quick even when lots queuing during the COVD19 lock down.

Got out of the train at Kent House on a Saturday lunchtime, desperate for a cappuccino, and the charming 'kent house coffee and flowers' greeted our eyes in the station forecourt. Obviously popular, judging by tablefuls of happy customers, sitting outside in the sunshine, we ordered our coffees. They arrived in cheerful red cups, with water thoughtfully provided as a matter of course. Delightful! For those few minutes, we could have been in a Parisian boulevard!

An excellent, welcoming independent cafe selling delicious home- made cake and wonderful Cawardine's coffee. The owner is very community-minded and various events take place such as art exhibitions and themed evenings. In the summer you can sit outside on a forecourt and enjoy your latte and cake with friends. Adjoining the cafe is a flower shop selling spectacular fresh floral arrangements.

A great location for a meet and chat, No frills but superb coffee and even a glass of wine. I dont know how we have managed without it.

I enjoyed a catch up after work with friends at a little hidden gem which beamed with a lovely relaxed, happy atmosphere.Plenty of parking and tucked away in a little haven right next to the refreshingly peaceful suburban station Kent House. The venue has an array of beautiful hand made flower bouquets on sale and a wide variety of coffee’s/ teas and even a tipple (licensed till 9.00pm) There is a number of seating areas to suit ones mood...alfresco, to watch the world go by, inside the main hub of the cafe or even the tranquil gallery upstairs where you can take in the talent of local artists. The fresh pizza van was there (I think visits every month) and of course I had to have a taster. I loved it!

What an amazing find. On the search for a great cup of coffee in our local area without going to the usual chain stores, what a great little place. Immaculate and well cared for coffee shop selling delicious home made cakes. What a change from what is on the high street. The shop also sells flowers and offers dry cleaning as well. So impressed!

I was cycling from Crawley to Greenwich on the National Cycle Route 21 and was confused by the signs and needed a cuppa so stopped off at the first cafe I passed on route and how fortuitous it was. I was met with a cheery welcome from the owner (I now know is Jill from other reviews) and her young assistant (I now know is Sophie) who not only served me and my friend two delicious homemade cakes and cappuccino but also spent considerable time looking up the onward route to Greenwich and even telling me the terrain. What an absolute delight the two ladies were and I left the cafe feeling a lot better than when I entered. Incidentally Sophie, I write the A to Z of almost Everything and checked when I got home but the only fire I can find that destroyed a ship in the 1990s was the one I mentioned, the Achille Lauro, so if you find out anything let me know :-)

In what was once the original office of estate agents Shefford, Sedgwick & Dacombe, the historic building dating back to 1887 has been beautifully converted into a gem of a coffee shop. I popped in today on my way back from shopping and had a delicious Americano and a nice chat with Jill, who owns the shop with son Luke. I've been in a couple of times now and plan to make it a regular event (the cakes are superb!). You can buy flowers as well (I ordered two splendid holly wreaths for the family graves) and have your dry cleaning done! Jill tells me that business is booming which is wonderful to hear.

We heard of it being opened and had to check it out. It still feels very new, but cute. The staff was friendly and the tea plus cake was lovely. Nice addition to Beckenham and especially Kent House.

What a Gem of a coffee shop. This was my first time here. Thought I'd stroll down from clockhouse. Lovely welcome. Had a latte and a slice of delicious ginger cake. I decided to have it upstairs in the gallery. Chilled out and in awe of this beautiful historic building and surrounding. Sophie the young lady at the counter was both polite and more than happy to answer any questions on opening times and what's to come. Will be back to get my Christmas tree. I look forward to coming here in the summer and winter coffee. My new coffee house for sure. Well done and perfect for the location. Will be back with friends or just to sit and relax. A place to unwind.

Have dropped in 4 times now for a coffee and cake, and I haven’t been disappointed on any of those visits. The coffe is supurb, the cake I had on each occasion was fresh and delicious especially the Pistachio.The various staff members are all very pleasant and very attentive.Thie once empty building has been sympathetically restored and a relaxing vibe has been achieved, so well done!Other reviewers have said it and its true, This place is a Gem.

This wonderful place is such a find! It is in a beautiful old building that has been most sympathetically restored. The charming mother runs the florist side, selling lovely indoor plants at very good prices. Her friendly and helpful son is the licensee, and serves delicious fresh hot coffee also at a very good price (£1 for an espresso) and really well chilled prosecco in a generous glass with crisps, a bottle of water and lots of ice. Upstairs there is a little art gallery, showing some lovely local prints, reminiscent of Ernest Shepard of Winnie the Pooh fame, with a large squashy sofa and well-chosen picture books. If the weather is fine you can sit outside, beside the window boxes. They serve delicious home made cakes, in generous-sized slabs. If you are in the area, please go! You will not be disappointed. (By the way, I was puzzled to see one bad review but this was only because they could not pay with Northern Irish banknotes. I found out from Google that they are not legal tender here:- "There are two banks in Northern Ireland which issue bank notes and, although this cash is in sterling, it is not actually legal tender in England." So please do not be put off by this only review giving fewer than 5 stars.)This place deserves to flourish. It is an oasis!

Delightful! I normally walk past to/from Kent House station each day. Today was my first visit while out walking with friends. Stopped by for a coffee and pastry, which was delicious. Popped upstairs to have a look at the setting and it all looks lovely. I would definitely recommend you stop by and support this new business.

I found myself at Kent House Railway Station the other day whilst passing through for work. I stopped off at the Kent House Coffee and Flowers shop. The staff were extremely helpful and generous, not only to me but towards other customers and passers-by wanting assistance. I found the whole experience extremely relaxing and thoroughly enjoyed my short visit. Chatting to the two ladies working there was uplifting and interesting. The coffee was good and I can recommend the stem ginger cake which I understand comes from a local bakers. I will definitely make another visit if I am in that area again. Thank you.

A gem of a place for our first coffee stop on our London to Paris bike ride. The lovely Luke couldn’t have been more welcoming, offering glasses of iced water for us thirsty cyclists. A lovely feel good atmosphere and setting. Thank you for your kindness.

Delighted to have a great coffee place near to home. I’ve been in a few times now and the owner is always really friendly. Went in today with family and he made a special effort with the children and their drink. Well worth getting to the train station early to have a coffee and a sit in the sun.

When coffee and flowers opened I was over the moon to say the least. Great tasting coffee and cakes. Really friendly and welcoming staff, who take the time personally know you. Beautiful flowers for any and all occasions.

Took my 4-year old grandson for a Hot Chocolate and a cup of tea for myself. I used a United Kingdom note - from Northern Ireland but 100% UK and legal - and they refused to honour it. The ladies behind the flowers desk also voiced their view that it could not be taken in payment though I showed them an Irish note (Euros, of course as Ireland is not the UK) and the legal language on my UK note. Disappointing. But I quickly found another establishment and my grandson was appeased. The same note was immediately taken. On a positive note, the gentlemen also servicing in the establishment was exceedingly professional and was of the opinion that the note was legal. Alas, his colleagues let him - and the coffee shop - down.

I was SO pleased when a cafe opened close to my home, and Kent House Coffee & Flowers doesn't disappoint! Amazing coffee and a selection of different milks - their cakes are from Blackbird Bakery and they sometimes have vegan options which is great. I haven't bought any flowers yet but I will definitely be back as they looked beautiful. The owners are so friendly as soon as you walk in the door!

I come to this caffe with my fiance on a regular basis, we come here for a nice coffee in the afternoon or a quick stop before getting on a train.The drinks are lovely, the hotchocotale is the best!!The staff are lovely.Very good for kids, familys or just for a coffee with mats.They have power plugs, for changing laptops phones etc.

From the moment I stepped into the cafe, I was greeted with smiles and warmth. I sat upstairs, where there is plenty of space and a nice seating arrangement, which added to the aesthetics of the cafe. I would be upstairs doing work, when a kind member of staff would offer me a drink. This excellent waiting service, coupled with the polite nature of the staff, meant that I had no trouble getting on with my assignments. The service they delivered was both efficient and effective, so I would definitely visit again!

This is a little gem right by Kent House Station. It serves tea and coffee and a lovely range of cakes. I had a mocha and a slice of lime and pistachio cake ... very yummy. It is a new establishment and has a lovely airy feel. The staff are polite and friendly. It also has a flower shop where you can buy fresh flowers either made up into a bouquet or not, as you wish. It is also child friendly. It has an upstairs area with a picture gallery and comfortable seating. It is open every day, all day, including weekends. It is in a lovely leafy road which makes you feel like you are in the country. It also had outside seating.
