Meant 2 Bean in Bromley

I stopped in for lunch and had the chicken escalope with fries and my partner had the spaghetti bolognaise. It was a delicious meal with a home cooked feel at a very reasonable price! The lady who served us was very friendly, chatty and absolutely hilarious. I will be going back!

Unfortunately, this cute little cafe has gone HUGELY down hill since NEW MANAGEMENT have taken over. I visited this cafe a couple of years ago and it was beautiful however now, I don't think I'll ever go back. The service was awful, the menu was hand written on paper with cellotape, not much to choose from and with no prices against it. We waited 25-30 minutes for a drink to then be told they didn't actually have what we had originally ordered after sitting there for ages waiting for it. I was so disappointed because I used to love it here, it's a shame. I took my brother and sister in law for a catch up and ended up having to leave and find somewhere else. Would definitely NOT reccomended.

Visited for breakfast Food was just ok, not a lot on the menu and not part of the Eat out Scheme, the prices are more Beckenham High St, where you can get a lot better breakfast for the price. Presentation was lacking.

We have visited here before and it was lovely. The food was fabulous and the family who was running this place were very welcoming and warm. However I’m afraid they are not running it anymore and the food and service has gone to zero! I will never be visiting again. I do not recommend this place at all. AVIOD.

Not a lot of options to choose from, which is fine but expected food to taste much better given the limited options available. The food was overall well presented but very tasteless, won't be going back as there's much better In Beckenham

This is my new favourite place for breakfast/lunch. The food is great, the staff are friendly and there place is always nicely decorated. I would recommend the pancakes or a full breakfast or omelette or cake.. Everything is just good!

Popped in for coffee and a cake with my husband and ended up eating a meal. Very friendly place with a great quirky edge. We came home with our cake in a box and that was equally delicious. We will definitely be returning as there was so much else we fancied trying.

It was around 'snack o'clock', the family felt peckish and we decided to enter this delightful 'eatery'. The place was spotless, the staff welcoming, the service was prompt and went out their way to make sure our snacks and drinks were exemplary! The place is very modern and should be really appealing to all clientele. My daughter ordered the delicious sounding Pancakes with Strawberries and Nutella. This great big pile of pancakes were gorgeous looking, with plenty of chocolate and cream to accompany. I tasted one, and the pancake melted in the mouth with a soft delicate balanced flavour without being over stodgy as some pancakes can be. They were made fresh in front of us, poured onto the hot griddle and served in a way that someone on Instagram would absolutely love! What can I say that is different to others' reviews? Probably the best 'eatery' in the whole of Beckenham! I hope more people discover this place as it deserves its star ratings!

Visited the lovey cafe when visiting the Bowie Oddity at the recreation ground, had the Turkish breakfast and pancakes, and it set us up for the day, Great friendly staff and the food was excellent.. deff on our list to visit again.

Go there occasionally for lunch (although loads of people go for coffee etc.) Food is delicious and there are vegetarian options. All food is cooked while you wait by the owner or family. There is a great selectiopn of cakes etc. Everyone very friendly and helpful.

Went with my daughter and granddaughter. Lovely breakfast and made to feel very welcome. Would thoroughly recommend.

we now use this quite frequently especially as we can easily walk to it, great for a coffee on our way home. Staff very friendly, good chioces for a lite lunch, with an excellent choice of home made cake to follow. what more do you want from a local cafe?

Had lunch here with the family it was fabulous! Food was amazing plus the family who run this place are so nice. Best customer service we have had in a long time! Will be back again soon. Highly recommended.

Perfect place for a coffee and a wholesome portion or porridge! I even made a new friend there as it was so busy, I had a spare seat. We even socialised with the table next to us. A real feeling of community. Lovely family run business, good atmosphere.

As my review title says - this place offers great food and with it great service, although it is a bit expensive. As a treat I'd highly recommend, but if brunching on a budget, maybe not. Saying all that - we'd happily return

I have visited Meant 2 Bean a couple of times now for brunch at the weekend and I can highly recommend it. They have great breakfast options and it's really accommodating for kids too! I am fast becoming a regular!
