We had food for my sisters 60th birthday. We had a mix of normal and vegan sandwiches and wraps. Plus coleslaw, potatoes, pasta, and Greek salad. I must say the food was excellent, the filling was great and our guest enjoyed it so much 5 stars would recommend.

Lovely lunch at this popular local cafe. Owner and staff very friendly and accommodating, moving tables to seat 3 of us including a toddler. We had the pasta of the day and a salad, all tasty reasonably priced, our little one loved it too. We will be back.

One of the friendliest cafes around. Always made to feel like friends when visiting. The cafe is Italian owned so the food is Mediterranean as well as English. Don’t expect several versions of the full English breakfast with chips. The pasta dish of the day is always tasty. You can get baked potatoes/ eggs on toast /sandwiches etc. The homemade cakes are some of the nicest I have had in Bromley’s cafes. The cafe is dog friendly so our dog gives it a paws up as the owner always gives him some treat of either chicken or cheese. The cafe has some outdoor seating on the front. Dogs can go inside also but in the rear section where they aren’t near the food preparation area. Although there isn’t much Vegan options they do serve a good coffee with the option of Oat milk.

Me and my husband went to one of the evenings they have on Friday-Saturday: "Taste of Italy". It was Liguria weekend and the food, the atmosphere, everything was like being back in Genova. The chef was more than great and the food was more than delicious. For someone who grew-up in Genova and know what they are talking about (my husband is from Genova) he was more then satisfy with the food. Everything tasted like "back-home". Thank you for the wonderful evening to Adamo, the staff and the chef!

Not been here since it changed hands as previously it was pretty grubby and tired. The refit in my opinion doesn't work. It's an awkward space and therefore tricky to make it inviting. You have to skirt around tables against a wall to reach the counter. I wouldn't want to sit at those tables! Having said that the toastie I had was OK. Coffee better elsewhere if you are a coffee snob that is. Owner polite and good service.

We recently used taste bud for catering at our family party of 60 people. The food was delicious, home cooked lasagna and aubergine parmigiana plus salads and food for the kids. Everyone complemented the food and Adamo was extremely helpful from start to finish. Would highly recommend their food.

When it's so good there's no much room for comments. I felt like I was in Italy bite by bite of a Michelangelo panini. Try the traditional Italian flavours and you won't be disappointed. I'm happy I live just around the corner!

We had been to Taste-Bud before for an evening meal and so we were expecting good food, we were not disappointed. Good atmosphere on this not too busy evening, lovely breads to start and then the beautifully presented 3 piece starter, stuffed peppers, mackerel croquette and suckling pork prosciutto, all so tasty, beetroot and Taleggio risotto which was so moreish and then the most lovely guinea fowl and broccoli. I had never had guinea fowl before but it was gorgeous, finished off with strawberry Elton mess with lovely Italian finger biscuits. Lovely bottle of red wine finished the meal well. If you get the chance to visit for an evening meal then do. Great night.

Deffo last visit this time. I used to love Chatts café but that's gone downhill, Pearson and Hearn is small and very busy so its Tastebuds or nothing in Chatterton Road. I ordered a egg mayo and crispy bacon sandwich but got a baguette which was promptly changed, presumably by just scrapping the filling out and put in the sarnie. Not that great and not worth the money. The coffee is nice but what really put me off was the apron worn by a male member of staff; looked absolutely filthy. Even if its been washed and its old stains could you not buy a new one? And some for all staff.

Unless you know what you're doing, where you're going to sit, what you're ordering, what the menu is, etc etc then you sort of feel out of place here. I've been a few times - going in for a coffee is OK, but any more than that and it just feels a bit of hassle. No where seems like the right place to sit down without being in the way or shoved into a corner. And the staff weren't particularly friendly either. It's OK at best, but there's better around.

This tucked away deli is well known for its excellent sandwiches, paninis etc during the day. However when it really comes alive and is at its best is on a Friday and Saturday evening when they have tasting menus and it turns into a full blown restaurant / gastronomic experience. These tend to showcase the cuisine of a particular region of Italy and our recent trip was phenomenal. Celebrating being in Bromley for 11years, we were treated to a delicious 6 course meal for only £25.50 each! The place was heaving but the charismatic (and genuinely Italian) owner Christian always had time to chat, explain the background of our courses and the recipes. The porcini mushroom lasagne was a huge hit!Yes, the venue is small and intimate but that's what makes it so charming and appealing to us (and the very good Italian wine list!)We've been a number of times and I've always resisted writing a review as if it becomes too popular we might not get a seat.Try it - you won't regret it!

Had a nice lunch here with my friend. I had a hot sausage sandwich, which was on wholemeal bread as requested. The sausages were not as hot as I'd hoped and the sandwich fell apart as was cut into 4 triangles. We sat at the back, which was nice and quiet. I feel the customer service is a little lacking also, a little more welcome goes a long way. It was lunch time and there was a que of people mostly ordering take out foods. By the way one woman spoke to the other behind the counter I assume she was training/or new. I would go back as the menu was very varied and I could have ordered a variety of things! They did decaff tea for me too which was a bonus. Overall nice little place which obviously does well considering the good reviews and how busy it was. A few little tweaks would make it amazing :)

This cafe should be wonderful, its in a great spot, but after trying it many times, it just doesn't hit the spot. The customer care is not working enough to make me feel valued. The menu's haven't changed in a while and its fairly repetitive in what is on offer. The service just isn't consistent, sometimes a smile is given but often the ladies don't say hello or appear to recognise regulars and just serve head down and appearing busy.the presentation is hit and miss and sometimes the food is poorly presented, sandwhiches are flung together and fall apart when you eat them later, none are made up in advance so there is a queue .I'd love to see some work put into the customer experience and the menu varied, but I think the owners have stopped seeing the problems…. such a shame.

Met at 7.30 pm for a catch up with friends and were last to leave- at no time did we feel rushed. I chose the restaurant because there was an excellent range of vegetarian options for my friends and they were all delighted. The figs and melted cheese was delicious and my oven baked aubergine choice was pretty good. Cocktails are delicious. Friend had ravioli, squid in spicy tomato sauce, king prawns and they enjoyed them all. We all said it was a great find and would come back.

This cafe is on a great location and serves largely sandwiches and snacks. I have found the food to be fresh and the coffee good and it provides take away as well as sit in meals. What puts me off going more often is the customer services or lack of, sadly the lack of personal contact or a smile from the ladies who serve. I think this is a need that is getting overlooked as the owners are cheerful and welcoming….some training please as that greeting or lack of makes all the difference.

2nd visit to this delightful little quaint Italian cafe, The freshly made sandwich had fresh ingredients, I chose the chicken, bacon and avocado on sandwich on multi grain bread and was delicious, well presented with salad garnish. This place is a lovley place to meet friends for a natter over a pleasant lunch. It has also started to put on evening events "taste of Liguria" and i am hoping to pop along to as it is in walking distance of my home and can enjoy a nice glass of italian wine with my meal. The owner is a handsome, friendly, welcoming man with a big personality as most italians are.

I have visited this small local cafe a few times and found it very pleasant. The food is good and very fresh with a lot of variety. The introduction of evening Italian tapas has also been very welcome as there are few places to go in the evening around Chaterrton Road if you don't want a pub or a large meal in a restaurant. I see someone has commented on the staff. It is true that service is not always with a smile but that is just one member of staff who is nevertheless efficient. I agree about the belly button flashing which gives the impression of not being professional and is rather distracting! A pity as everything else about this cafe is extremely good. The tri-color panini and salt beef sandwich when available are to be recommended . A great place to drop in for a chat or just read the paper.

First time in this café and probably the last.Very small but so are lots of places.Service is quite rough and a little surly. No smiles, I guess if you're not locals you dont deserve them.Fortunately our lunches were made before one of the ladies decided to disrobe down to her belly button piercing to continue on.Very unattractive and not appetizing. Food ok but not improved by the service standards. Some hand washing basins would help with hygiene issues.

Under new management but maintaining the friendly style of before, this is as good for a quick latte and croissant on the way to work as for a sit-down lunch for 15 (3 courses, coffee and wine £340 for 15 inc service).Really excellent coffee, particularly recommended are the luscious pains aux raisins, and the vegetable terrine. Salt beef regularly available.

I love this place and have been coming since it opened but the last few times I’ve been, I’ve had to wait around 15 mins for a takeaway coffee. Staff are getting stressed and flustered, mixing up orders and on two occasions they simply stopped taking orders because they’d got so behind (but didn’t explain this to the waiting customers). I’m sure they are trying their best but it’s awful to see customers walking out. Such a shame as I really want to continue to enjoy coming here, and the coffee is great! I like supporting local businesses and want to see them thrive. Not sure what the problem is - maybe the kitchen is too small to cope with all the food orders or perhaps the staff need dedicated roles eg. One person making all the coffee. Maybe the menu is too diverse for that little kitchen? It would help too if a staff member perhaps explained that there would be a long wait due to it being particularly busy, and then we could decide whether to leave the queue. I’m putting this review on here in the hope that the owners will see it and make some changes. I really hope it improves.

The coffee and cakes here are sensational. I'm serious about coffee; it is an obsession. I source my own green coffee beans, roast them and work hard to be a good barista. Hence I am always dissatisfied with coffee 'out'. I fell upon this place while waiting to pick-up my wife from the hospital yesterday. It is the best prepared coffee I've had out in recent years. The one that came close cost £8.50 from a Michelin star restaurant. The only down side is that I need a better excuse to go back! The service was great too. Keep-up the great work.
