turned up on way home from day out with family ,staff were friendly and polite had some very nice food very enjoyable and not over busy which i myself prefer will vist again soon

Sin embargo, al entrar en el restaurante, nos llevaron a sentarnos donde ya había seis personas sentadas y todos estaríamos realmente aplastados sentados entre ellos sin privacidad para hablar, ya que todos habríamos estado hablando entre nosotros. Pedimos si había otros asientos y luego nos sentamos en la terraza donde había muchos asientos. Luego nos dejaron con un menú por la camarera, pero no hay explicación de la reserva que habíamos hecho y lo que deberíamos estar mirando. Un camarero vino 5 minutos después para decir si estábamos listos, y fue entonces cuando le pedí al camarero que confirmara para qué estábamos reservados y confirmara el menú. Tanto la camarera y el camarero que nos sirvieron y nos sentaron no parecían estar interesados y no mostraron servicio al cliente, lo que es una gran pena, así que no es realmente un comienzo agradable para el té de la tarde que había reservado. Mientras tomábamos el té de la tarde, otras dos camareras vinieron a ver si todo estaba bien y si necesitábamos algo, Ambas mostraron tanto entusiasmo e interés que fue una sensación tan agradable y es una pena que no obtuvimos ese servicio cuando entramos, nos sentamos y nos sirvieron.

Très bon petit restaurant. J'y ai très bien mangé. Personnel très sympathique. Je recommande à coup sûr!!!

I have been here for a coffee before but this was the first time I had a meal. Very fast service and reasonably priced. Thoroughly enjoyable and will return. Thanks for a wonderful (late) breakfast. You are a real asset to the area.

Es una lástima que uno de los pocos cafés locales haya ido a la ruina después de que el nuevo propietario (que presume que ha llamado a su nuevo lugar 'Rays caf' después de él) se haya sumado. La calidad de la comida ha disminuido por completo, el ambiente está arruinado, y lo único que lo está haciendo ahora son dos de las adorables camareras que todavía hacen un buen café. ¡Recupere la experiencia del propietario / Kiwi de Hummingbird desde hace 2 años! Estoy seguro de que esta delicatessen debe estar perdiendo dinero ahora que la mayoría de los clientes habituales han desaparecido: el lugar estaba vacío hoy en día, donde antes habría estado lleno de trabajadores independientes que consumían deliciosas ensaladas frescas y cucharadas de café.

Me and my friends went out this afternoon for a study session and as we went to move to a more comfier seat a worker came up to us and asked quite carelessly if we would not sit here in the UN reserved seat. When we asked why she proceeded to say her friend was coming with a “baby” and they wanted to sit in that seat.. this was rude even to begin with but none the less we were polite and moved our seats, maybe she needed more room for a pram?? When the workers friend came she had children youngest being about 5 and oldest at least 8 and she rushed over to clean her table after making us move to a dirty one. Maybe this is dramatic but why should we have had to move because of your personal friend in an established business?? i belive she took advantage of the fact we were younger customers just to cater to her friend putting personal life over work. All the while she was shouting aggressively at co workers - we left immediately after , by then the atmosphere felt tense. We didn’t have a chance to get a drink so this is my review of the service mainly - usually costa is a favourite of mine but i will now not be revisiting!

A friend and I both got the breakfast each which consisted of only 1 sausage that was so hard the knife had trouble cutting through it, 1 friend egg which was over cooked and brown and half the plate was just baked beans poured on.Side order of cold toast.Coffee was weak and cold on arrival.These two breakfasts cost almost 13 pounds. We won't be visiting again, other nice cafes to choose from on the high road.

Situated on the top floor of the book store, the cafe is nice. Ambience good. Feels relaxed and you are allowed to stay for up to 2 hours if you wanted to. Coffee and chai latte good. The toilets are awful though. Not cleaned often and quite smelly. So avoid them.

I certainly will never go to the place again. I am a vegetarian and my girlfriend has an allergy which means she can't eat ham or it will make her ill. I ordered 2 mushroom and 3 cheese ciabattas and they served us with ham and cheese ones. There was no question about what I ordered and I complained and I was accused of lying and I had to push to get my money back. The staff were very rude and the man behind the counter was extremely rude and aggressive. I would warn off anyone going there. It was absolutely horrible.

I’m a regular here and usually like this location. The staff are mostly friendly and it has a cozy vibe. You can sit by the window and overlook Finchley Road. Unfortunately today I had a bad experience with Georgia who was training new baristas. I scanned my Nero app to pay and was shown on my app that the payment went through. Apparently it hadn’t gone through on the till so Georgia made me show her proof of payment on my app and on my credit card statement but then argued with me that the payment was shown as pending in my Amex app, which it always is as it takes a few days for the merchant to claim the transaction. When I said that I wasn’t willing to swipe my card again and be charged double she made a rather rude comment “the payment hasn’t gone through on our end, so you’ll just walk away with a free coffee” and insisted I swipe my app again. She did give me a receipt noting that if I was indeed charged twice they would give me a refund on my next visit, however I am rather disappointed by customer service. You would think that staff would care less about a potentially free £3.55 coffee than losing a regular customer. I will not be a regular anymore at this location.

Aire bastante altivo del personal, caro. £ 4 por 4 supuestos pimientos rellenos (parecían 4 tomates cherry) , £ 7 por un pequeño plato de mejillones bastante gomosos en salsa de tomate.

For many years I used Greenfields where I received consistently outstanding courteous, friendly, and swift service. Now where are they? Food quality was always the highest and prices reasonable but creeping up forced upon them by rapacious landlord happy to cede their territory to the growing French / Belgian community. Was it not Bonaparte who referred to the English as a "nation of shopkeepers"? Is it not ironic, therefore, that where he could not win at Waterloo his descendants could in South Ken....
