Slow, surly service and food that is average at best with an above average price tag linked to it. Maybe when London had limited vegan options this type of sub-par business passed muster but with vegan options everywhere now my advice would be to go elsewhere

Hands down the best flat white or Cortado in London so far. I live in London and I am super fussy about my coffee. Don’t walk past this place, so many ‘coffee’ shops don’t care too much about the quality of what they make but these guys take the time. A dark coffee roast as well which they do in house

Just had a lovely breakfast/ brunch in a gorgeous beer garden. Pub looks small from the high street but it is beautiful out the back. Breakfast to a high standard and server so cheerful. Sunny today but looks just as nice inside for the damper days. A real treat.

Four of us — in our fifties — popped into this bar for a quick late drink or two for a birthday celebration. After a round of drinks, I went to the toilet. I was about to have one of my sneezing fits. I went to cubicle to kill two birds with one stone, so to speak. When I emerged there was a giant bouncer loitering outside, pretending unconvincingly to wash his hands. After I’d returned to my friends I was called over by one of the door staff. They said they thought I’d been taking cocaine in the toilet. They had heard me sniffing and sneezing. At first, I thought this was funny. I’m hardly a prime candidate for snorting class As in the toilet. And if they’d any experience, sneezing and blowing your nose is not a sign that someone has snorted a bit of Colombian. I offered to allow the security to search my person, and inspect my features for traces of contraband stimulants. I explained that i was mildly allergic to alcohol but that the sneezing would soon stop. They accepted all this at first, and went away. But they approached me again, having changed their minds, as the sophomorically underexperienced bar manager decided that I, a 55-year-old man considering drawing his pension, was snorting jazz talc in their little boys room. On a Thursday night. For sneezing. Hilarious. A behemoth with poorly developed facial hair invited me to leave with some degree of menace. I told my friends to stay, but they opted to leave in solidarity. One of us had just bought a bottle of wine and she had to leave it. Two of these people had come down to London especially, from Cheshire. I now wonder if it was just a case of “Slaughtered Lamb” parochialism. We were stared at on entry by one old luvvie, and a couple of other stagey types tutted at us. So I wonder if actually, we simply weren’t welcome, and they needed an excuse. Maybe it’s just a locals’ bar for local people. A big shame. A nasty little dump. Avoid.

Feeling relaxed and rejuvenated after our two nights in Wells Somerset. All the staff were friendly and courteous. Our special gratitude goes to the chef Raymond who made our breakfasts entertaining and who went above and beyond the service expected. All our meals were cooked to perfection and piping hot. We are already planning a return visit, we were so impressed.

Came here last year for the coffee festival but was walking by again earlier this month and saw they had a whole host of food stalls. Nice place to be with a great atmosphere!

It was cold and we went there to eat our dinner the cosy room was nice so we went there to sit but I saw the fries around that area which I saw in the toilet and that put me off to eat there. Could be used past control to rid of it.. the place is nice but that will ruin the reputation.

Fui con mis amigos para el té festivo de la tarde, pero no estuvo a la altura de las expectativas. Lo visité hace dos años, y desde entonces, se han renovado y el servicio y el ambiente es terrible e impersonal en comparación con esa visita anterior. Por lo tanto, llegamos para nuestra reserva, pero nos pusieron en una cola de personas esperando para sentarse. Tomó diez minutos superar esto. Reservamos para una tarde de cata de vinos. Llegamos tarde en una tarde lluviosa. Eso no humedeció nuestros espíritus. Nos recibió calurosamente un joven parisino que conocía sus vinos. Probamos los ocho vinos de degustación, nos divertimos mucho. Nuestro joven parisino fue muy amable con nosotros, marcando nuestras tarjetas si lo adivinábamos correctamente o no. Descubrimos que nuestro encantador parisino se llamaba Kevin. Que gran anfitrión. Hizo nuestra tarde / noche, a pesar de subir y bajar las escaleras cuidando a todos sus clientes. Pedimos queso y galletas para ayudar a que el vino baje. Kevin nos trajo un hermoso pan de papa con mantequilla que era tan ligero. Este lugar es divino. Pasamos una tarde brillante y no queríamos irnos a cenar a otro lugar. Estamos ansiosos por volver ya que la comida era realmente deliciosa. ¡El vino tampoco estuvo mal! Gran pan, mantequilla, queso y galletas saladas. La decoración es encantadora, limpia y fresca. Los baños son agradables y están impecables. El personal es excelente El restaurante se ve increíble. Volveremos pronto para probar las delicias. Este lugar es bueno, relajado y no demasiado caro teniendo en cuenta la calidad de todo.
