Munch in Enfield

Muy mala exhibición de comida, muy pequeña porción de papas fritas, sin salsas, el cuarto de libra estaba muy frío, ¡no había ensalada ni salsa! Extremadamente decepcionado. No vale un centavo

Excelente. . . . . Incluso mi novio carnívoras mucho la comida. Muy impresionado con la selección de vegetariano, vegano y sin gluten. La camarera era fantástica, muy eficiente y servicial. El único inconveniente fue que era bastante escaso, así que la comida llegó un poco tarde, pero no creo que este sea el caso a menudo a juzgar por los otros comentarios.

El servicio era estupendo y la comida rápida era preciosa, muy agradable para mí como un vegetariano para tener muchas opciones.

Ordered through Deliveroo vegan Mac N Cheese and the Spinach and Tofu Curry, love the flavours! Absolutely delicious, good size portions and delivered quickly. Will order again.

He estado dos veces y probamos una gran variedad de platos. Volver allí este viernes! Mis favoritos particular (y con ganas de probar algunos más) son el paneer, espárragos, tartiflette, Mac & Cheese y el ramen. El brécol burger, especial el viernes pasado también era encantador.

I've now been to Munch for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as to just drink at the bar. The food is excellent. I'm Vegetarian and to be honest I didn't think I could enjoy Vegan food as much as I have done at Munch. Most of the menu is Vegan because the chef is Vegan but you can make some of the Vegan food Veggie and vice versa. The starters are amazing in particular the chickpea pancakes, the asparagus and pear and the potatoes tartiflette. Of the mains the lasagne and the curry are my favourites particularly now that the curry comes with vegan and gluten free poppadoms! ALL of the wines are vegan which is amazing. And the cocktails are just yum. In particular the Munch Punch. I'm still working my way through the cocktail list ;-) There's a very friendly vibe in the restaurant and they have obviously done a lot to engage and support the local community. The back wall has been painted by a local artist and they have other art by local people for sale. They also sometimes sell goods from the nearby Village Wholefood Store. This is just what the local area needs to break up the monotony of Italian and Greek heavy meat restaurants. Well done Munch :-)

I’ve really wanted to try munch as I’ve been vegan for many years and was very impressed to find out there was a local vegan restaurant near me. Sadly I’m quite disappointed, I ordered off Deliveroo and I hope that didn’t affect the quality of the food. I ordered the Mac and cheese and the pulled pork burger, firstly I found the mac and cheese was extremely garlicy to a point that was all I could taste and although the pulled pork burger was nice I felt it was an extremely small portion. I was also disappointed with the chips as they were extremely thin string like chips which were also very oily. Finally there were no deserts of the Deliveroo website which was also disappointing. I would like to try again as the menu does look good but I’m definitely hesitant

Visiting lunchtime was possibly not the best way to experience this restaurant, plus we were the only customers. Only burgers and salads were on the menu. What we had was nice and the price was reasonable. Would like to visit in the evening where the menu is more extensive and the atmosphere livelier. Service was very pleasant and the iced fruited tap water presented in a bottle was a nice touch. The music was a little loud but it did fill the silence! Finally there was no way of knowing this was a vegan/veggie restaurant , so feel it would benefit from some extra outside signage to that effect as there are not many around and there is definitely a market for this type of eatery.

This is a nice vegetarian restaurant, the food is good, the service is very obliging. It just lacks that little edge to get 5 stars. Hard to put my finger on it as to why. However, serving slightly more food and having a little more choice could make all the difference. Thank you, we had a good night, enjoyed the wine and good to see two lagers on tap.

The food is really nice even for a non vegetarian! As a keen and consevative meat eater it was an eye opener, the flavour are subtle and the variety is great. I would recommend for anybody who would like to explore vegan food and something different. The staff is lovely and caring: they make you feel welcome. Finally the restaurant is very nicely decorated and sparkling clean. 5 stars all round! Need more places like that in London.

We waited over 45 minutes for our main course, no starters ordered. When it arrived ..... oven style chips, and the 'jack fruit ' burger was all bread roll, and hard at that. Really not sure what went wrong, others were also waiting ages for food. The poor waitress was left to apologise, I would have, at the very least, expected management to apologise for the waiting time Again, such a shame

I was recommended this restaurant from a friend and I have to say it did not disappoint: the stuff is incredibly friendly and the food is amazing. I ordered the curry and it was amazing; it came with some of the best potatoes I’ve ever tried and, for all you instagram addicted out there, the decor on top was beautiful, ready for you to post and get all the likes. The decor is not great, but acceptable considered the restaurant just opened. The prices are reasonable for how much food you get and they are so good that are definitely worth the splurge. I would definitely recommend.

Before I start this review I will mention I am a meat eater not a vegan or vegetarian; however on the night I was with a Vegan who wanted a place whose menu didn’t have limited options for her. This is is exactly what this restaurant offers. As a meat eater I am always sceptical paying to eat out and there’s “no meat” on my plate 🤨- however I had the ‘pulled pork’ burger. I must say it did have a really nice taste to it, had mayo, ‘bacon’, jalapeños and tomato inside and tasted pretty good! It came with chips which were nice and I ordered a side of Onion Chutney which was a tasteful addition to my plate. The person I was with ordered the bbq burger - again she said it was nice and it looked it too. The staff were very attentive and answered literally every question and request we had. This is a nice little local gem for a vegan or vegetarian; and as a meat eater I enjoyed the food too. Overall, I would return again and try something else on the menu as it all sounded good too!

Visited with Family who are all vegetarian- and looking forward to a special meal which was booked on line for Saturday evening Unfortunately the Restaurant was unable to cope as there were several parties in. We were not given any apologies prior to a long wait. Food was disappointing when it finally arrived Minted peas consisted of an unappetising plate of frozen peas with a hint of mint 2 Dips came with minuscule pieces of bread and no extra provided to dip with. The main courses were also poor A curry served with no rice or bread Burgers served with a teaspoon of coleslaw and a few leaves of salad chips were extra A mushroom cheese and rocket salad - one of the few dishes that was offered to one of our party who was garlic intolerant, came without the cheese. They couldn’t supply water jugs as they didn’t have enough. All in all a disappointment for a new local restaurant.

Me and my partner booked at Munch for mother's day. The restaurant is vegetarian/vegan and gluten free and, despite the fresh opening, was quite busy, sparkling atmosphere and warm welcoming by the staff. I had to wait a bit but whenever the food come the plating and taste made me forget the wating. Freshness and quality of the ingredients are out of questions. Simply delicious. Perfectly cooked. We went for a selection of starters (baked lentils, potatoes tartiflette, asparagus & pears and chickpeas pancakes are recommended) and we continued with lasagna, gluten free and vegan, and mushrooms polenta. Genuine food, simple and elegant. Pannacotta with strawberries cream and vegan tiramisù are a must. Prices are more than affordable. I hope to have the opportunity to dine there again Highly recommended.

We enjoyed delicious food and lovely service, the asparagus and caramelized pear is a must! Will definitely return. A great new local restaurant.
