Bagel Factory in City of London, Westminster

petit magasin de bagels à emporter qui a fait le bonheur de notre séjour londonien. Situé à deux pas de notre hôtel vers Paddington, le Bagel factory propose des bagels excellents, bien servis, pour tous les goûts.

Had the salt beef bagel which was absolutely divine and decently priced. Staff were friendly and attentive

Probé el panecillo plano con pollo y aguacate hoy para el almuerzo. El panecillo no estaba tan fresco y estaba parcialmente tostado. El relleno estaba bien pero necesitaba condimento. Valor no particularmente bueno en casi 5.

Me dieron el bagel de queso brie de arándanos que viene con tocino (aunque no pedí ninguno) y fue muy, muy bueno! ¡Felizmente sorprendido! Pensé que el panecillo era suave y delicioso. Creo que fue tan bueno como un panecillo de Nueva York. ¡Y la mujer detrás del mostrador era tan amable! ¡Si tuviera que entrar y salir de la estación Marylebone todos los días, definitivamente estaría en mi lista para desayunar o almorzar!

Tenía una de las roscas del desayuno. Parecía lo suficientemente fresco. Buen sabor. Poco de cola ya que sólo una persona que sirve por un tiempo. Nada especial, pero un buen llenado para su viaje de tren.

Tenía un bagel de salmón y aguacate. ¡Recién hecho! Buen servicio, personal amable. En general, un almuerzo rápido y fácil para tomar durante un día ajetreado.

Only down thing was in the day I went to get breakfast they had ran out of most bagels that I wanted :( Stavros is the gentleman that served me he was great! Very cheerful, great customer services! Recommend going early to not be disappointed, however there are plenty of other places in the Marylebone station to get breakfast from!

Some microwaved slop thrown between two slices of bagel. I can't imagine how bad it would have tasted if I hadn't had a few beers first.

Paddington Station. I arrived at roughly 7.30am to find a huddle of people crowded round both counters with no clear indication of whether they were waiting to order or were waiting for their order. This was my first time at Bagel Factory so spent time looking at the menu (barely a few minutes). The lady behind the counter kept sighing for me to make my order but at no point offered to help me understand the menu or how to order etc. Eventually I ordered a marmite bagel and a hot chocolate. As a muslim, this seemed the safest option keeping within dietary restrictions. I was not told what happens next so I stood vaguely between both counters waiting for someone to indicate what to do. People who were waiting when I arrived were still waiting with me... eventually asking the counter staff what was taking so long as they had trains to catch.... no response from staff. The staff completely ignored everyone who asked them questions, just outright blanked them. I was shocked. Lady behind the counter eventually admitted the till wasn't working (obviously why the whole service and staff attitude was poor) I received my order (had to wait for drink and bagel separately...) and walked away to get my train. The bagel can only be described as 'lightly toasted' with far too much marmite but I'll put that down to personal preference. What wasn't personal preference however was the LARGE PIECE OF BACON I found in the wrapper of my supposedly VEGETARIAN bagel. I was so disgusted I dumped the whole thing in the bin though wishing afterwards I'd kept it to take a picture. I would have forgiven the poor service if the bagel was worth it, but I can't forgive violating my personal dietary preference and general LACK OF STANDARD OR QUALITY CONTROL. How could a piece of bacon enter the wrapping of my bagel unless it was some serious oversight in food standards? I will never visit Bagel Factory again. I only wish I took the staff names to make a complaint to management.

Recorrí medio Londres para ir al situado en Paddinton y mereció la pena. Trato muy agradable y el bagel sencillamente delicioso, incluso a un precio que para ser Londres no era nada excesivo.

Esta opinión es sobre el que está en el centro de exposiciones Excel de Londres. El café no vale mucho, pero los bagel son deliciosos: te los hacen en el momento y están crujientes por fuera y tiernos por dentro. Pedí uno de pollo con ensalada César y me encantó. El precio es más que adecuado: un café y un bagel por 6,50 libras aproximadamente.

Not had a Bagel a Factory bagel before but chose a salmon and cream cheese on poppy seed which was delicious. He even cut it into quarters for me do it was easy to eat on the train. Only slight disappointment was the lack of decaffeinated coffee which meant I couldn't take advantage of the hot drink deal 😒. I had to get it from an AMT outlet nearby.

Well... My husband and I have been disappointed over the many trips we have taken through Waterloo recently as we could never find the bagel factory... (A firm favourite lunch or post drinks snack!) But on this visit it was back! Or we found it at least! I had missed the stars and strips (bacon, cream cheese, tomato and guacamole) and my husband the Salt beef (with gherkins, cheese and mustard!). They were as good as we remember! The staff were very friendly. We will be making regular stops here :)

Being country bumpkins bagels aren't something we come across very often, however have now been converted

I have tried numerous Bagel Factory bagels in London and they are all the same. Firstly the bagels aren't that fresh. Freshly opened out the box they came in but who knows when they were made. I have seen plumper and more generous sized bagels in the corner cafe than at Bagel Factory. When you go in the mornings for your bagel and cream cheese please note its luck of the draw. Sometimes the bagel is burnt, sometimes is loaded with cream cheese and other times is a mere scrapping barely enough to taste the topping. Worst Bagel Factory by far is Waterloo station. Opened only in spring of 2013 but poor quality. Breakfast "egg" is poured from a carton and then microwaved in a plastic tub before plopped out on the bagel. I recommend Bagels from cafes, bakeries and sandwich shops over Bagel Factory.

I'm sure any New Yorker reading this review is cringing and dubious but these really are pretty close to NY bagels - and toppings and the service/prep is pretty NY-like, too (in a good way).

I go here all the time-their bagels are good and the stuff is fresh. Some of the fancier bagels are really too expensive, but that is true for everything in London. Its a great option and cheaper then a lot of on the run food...
